The farm is very efficient but has some problems, you lose quite a few items on the way because the wagons do not arrive to pick them up, it is a nuisance that you have to be carrying the chunks but most of the time the farm is broken because the sugar canes grow when the flying machine is advancing.
I don't understand the overcomplicating here, minecarts can be pushed and lodged into composters so there's 0 need for a build this complicated to keep the minecarts in place. Admittedly I don't know if this is a known trick, and it's also directional, but i'd love to see someone make a tutorial for a composter based farm. They're just so much cheaper. Also there's some stuff you can do to keep flying machine based farms from breaking; build in spawn chunks, or put a couple chunk loaders in strategic places.

Below that, i had set up a composter that the minecart would fall on. Then I put a solid block above the minecart and pushed the composter up with a piston! The minecart then became fully lodged inside there. This, then, can only be moved along one axis (because falling minecarts automatically face a set direction) and only that axis can be used for the farm. If that doesn't work just tell me and i'll gladly revisit it.
There is still one update suppression supported for 1.20 which was made by @Enbyd and I tested it also in 1.20.1 world the portal got sliced ... But didn't checked light levels 😔
they changed something on light suppression mechanic of the game on the last update of the game also even with new methods, it takes time to record even with RTX 4090

Hey, you should update this farm design to fix the machines randomly stopping, fix and prevent the minecarts randomly falling out of the honey block onto the ground, fix random blocks left alone out of the machine and be working 24/7 without any issue and be able to leave the world or go far away without waiting the machines to stop and these be still working even if they are not at the start and they are at mid path of the end. In addition to produce 20000+ per hour please.

@@TheySix Already watched and built the farm, but the machine stops randomly while building other farms in my redstone, farms and commands world. Today I was building automatic pumpkin and melon farm next to the sugar cane one when the machine randomly stopped, and the cause is a sugar cane growing just as a piston closes, and also possibly bugs (sorry if I can't speak full English). No chunk was unloaded, and I am always leaving the world if the machine is stopped at start.

its due to chunk unloading you have to wait unitl machine stop or place a lever for it and then you can leave area @@setacraft3860
