I made the farm. Amazing and awesome.
Now I feel like I don't need gold xp farm just need the gold farm
Note : Don't use stone bricks😅 in designing the farm. I had to redesign the whole thing with logs again.🙂
The duration of the infested potion is 3 minutes, so we need to put 225 blocks in the hoppers. Each hopper movement takes 0.4 seconds. (225 = 3 stack + 33)

@@ihoopchris3228 if it can be infested with silverfish then you can't use it. Most other blocks should be fine
@@ihoopchris322890% of stone blocks are not ok for a silverfish farm in general so just use wood

Unique, enderman farm better but innovative for sure
Enderman is a late game farm. Different category completely. If you want to argue any farm in the game, guardian farms are much better for xp than enderman

@@dirtbagpsn740i think he means with the time and effort it takes to make the two farms it is worth it to make the enderman farm, it is way more efficient, drops pearls, doesnt require potions, and only takes maybe 1 3/4 of the time it took to build this interesting farm.
@@dirtbagpsn740 i don't know about you, but enderman farm comes first on our server way before any other farms. Basically the second dragon is dead, the farm making starts.

I built the farm underground and it works perfect
You can fix it by replacing the redstone infront of chest with repeaters at 0 ticks

Does the farm stop if you run out of infested potions/flic the lever ? Do i just need to refill chests with potions and flic the level again to run the farm again afer that or it breaks the farm ?
You can on/off the farm by using lever the farm will never break it self

I think a guardian farm is still the best XP farm, but this is a cool option if you want something that you can place anywhere
As for the tutorial itself I think this is the clearest I've seen in a long time! I like the use of long angle shots and survival mode techniques
The mob must be killed to spawn Slimes, so maybe you can throw the Slime potion on the silver fish instead with a dispenser.

As for a slime farm, I built one based on a tutorial using these mechanics except they land on campfires to automatically kill them. It's incredibly fast and really cool!

because silver fish can break stone easily so use another blocks rather than stone

Hey man love the vid! Just a question regarding the potions. Do I need to keep refilling the chest with the potions for the farm to keep working?

When the potion run out just fill the chests again with potion and make sure to switch off the lever if you are not doing afk otherwise the clock with automatically throw potion

Does putting a vine/ladder where the silcerfish cram help with more xp or is it useless?
But with this farm can we make a slime farm too with the other new potion? Because the oozing potion spawn slime. We wouldn't need slime chunk anymore
You can make slime farms with the new potions but you can't just put those in this farm as the oozing effect requires the target to die, not just get hurt.
Made this it works well but my allays all disappeared

allays have faster regeneration than they take damage from campfire so they will not die

for some reason the clock works but it doesn't to the dispensers. the red stone procs on but still nothing, not sure why?

Silverfish can't infest MOSSY COBBLESTONE or SMOOTH STONE, those are the only stonebased building blocks you can use.
Otherwise Logs & Planks do fine!

Why not just make an enderman farm. Its simpler and easier to build, not requiring specific structures to start. Furthermore, you need not to refill the farm to use it. Though an enderman farm requires you to go to the end, to me that is easier than having to collect the allays and getting the potions.
The problem comes when the end portal is far from your base location

@vanoknyazeff4072 yeah I see tour point but even then making a normal mob spawner would be easier than making this. The time to build this farm isn't worth it. Plus you gotta keep adding more potions.
@user-gg6ke2kp3h in any seed there are 128 end portals/strongholds. These portals spawn within rings up to x and y coordinates 10000. That chance of you being not close to even one is rare. Where ever you decided to base up, there is a portal within a max distance of 1500 blocks. The trip can be further made shorter using the nether.

Truly amazing tho its kind of a late game farm and honestly i dont see the point in making it since later in game you can make an enderman farm

@@_unknown_3237 yeah this one for me comes after enderman farm. Just for way better practical use in late stages. But i suppose everyone plays their own game, and this is great alternative.

There is a way u can make more then 100 mobs in 1 block space and they won't die
little bit better than ender man farm but ender man farm is easier to build

four allay cells is overkill. you can only absorb 10 exp orbs per second, so you'll overflow with silverfish and the game will become a slideshow before you even reach level 30.
16 allays is a good medium amount
@duckified. idk if you mean the entity silverfish or the exp orb, but the silverfish won't overflow to over 24 due to entity cramming. As for the exp orbs, I can see why it would overload the pc unit if it couldn't be absorbed immediately
I just use a mods to help with this issue, fps never drops below 600 when I do this constantly.

dann it's actualy good but the ender man farm is way better because we can reach lvl 0-50 by 1 min, i think this farm will better if we change the silver fishes to the slimes
For the start and if u have not found the end yet, this is useful. If u say about the structure on the ocean that spawn enderman... Idk man, u can make this farm everywhere in the world

Design is very human
this farm is actualy good but the enderman farm is better than other xp farms, and you can easily build enderman farm in end, it is realy so eashy.

ender farm is great if you have base in the end i guess. But nothing beats the compatibility of this farm in overworld. Basically can be put anywhere for fast repairs - enchants. The time it takes me to go Nether-End-Overwold would compensate for this farms "lack of speed".

Top 1 on balance had 3 million of money after several months of trading
I made a farm of 800 money per sec on creepers and outrunned top 1 in one hour

Why dont you just make one campfire cell with 24 allays, it would be a lot more potion efficient and compact with the same results?
@@bano55 because once the silverfish started spawning, the entity cramming limit would be exceeded, damaging allays faster than they can regenerate. the infestation potion has chance to spawn 2 silverfishes on damage so potential max output with 8 allays is 16 silverfish at once, 8 allays + 16 silverfish makes 24 mobs total
@@DudeStrange I really dont know the specific reason, ( i would say i-frames or simply silverfishes take the damage) but i built one with 24 allays and it works fine. Also it reaches the xp pick up limit instantly so there is no need for it being faster. Btw if i did the math right 16 spawning at once has a chase 1 in 25 600 000 000. Which means if the silverfish take damage every half a second it would happen once every 406 years of continuous running (Not taking leap years into account)
im having trouble getting the allys in the hole, they all don’t go in and they pickup the dirt fast. Any solution ?
Place notebook on the bottom where the water is, put it be observer going into the notebloxk and the other behind it pointing the opposite direction. Then go back up and drop 8 stacks of dirt (1 allay picks up 64 blocks so 8 allays need 8 stacks) that’s probably the issue there
Also this is for Java not bedrock

I recommend u find a bedrock version of allay xp farm with a rodent killer

You can get more than 50 levels from one campfire if you just stacked more allays. You can easily stack 40-50 allays in one space and they won’t die of entity cramming cause of how small they are and how they push themselves into corners.
This design is way to big for what it does.
Also the redstone is very unnecessary unless you wish to AFK

Idk. Its very weird, and its very hard to fix if you dont know what you're doing. Even now, im not sure if I completely fixed it or anything. I did everything step by step and its all just weird.

If you put 24 allays in each hole, doesn't it maximise the farm? Since mob cramming threshold is 24.
Probably wouldn't be a good idea to cram 24 allays in one spot, in case the silverfish need to spawn on the same block, then you get allays killed off...
