i remember playing halo with 2 xboxs system linked and
having my friends come over every weekend and playing this
then i remember waiting 3 hour's in line to get halo2
for the midnight release
god i love halo!

awesome. even today with hd graphics, i'm still amazed at halo CEs graphics. they were top of the line at their time. replay the marathon series and you'll see just how much halo gave us that we take for granted nowadays. like objective screens, reloading at any time and jumping.

Medal of Honor was my fps and then there was cod but i prefer this Halo series over all of them. Though i have only played Halo 3 and Halo:ODST. Cant wait for Halo:Reach. Thanks for uploading this! it has made me to more appreciate and enjoy the halo games i have already played.

not as co op with the chief, but on separate levels
and on Halo 1 your armor is different

Its always been Master Chief Petty Officer John SPARTAN-II 117. All the other spartans are die before halo 1 (or at least never show up in the games again, not counting halo wars)

What I dont get is that Master Chief was wielding the energy sword the Halo Combat Evolved trailer and he stabbed an elite with it. But you couldn't wield the energy sword until Halo 2. What gives?

Why did Halo wars suck? Huh? Halo 1 started out like an RTS then formed into a FPS, so its just taking it back to its original roots.
