THUNDER ST1CKZ I got Halo 2 again during Christmas of 2014, ten years after the release. As I got Xbox One and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, I still wanted to keep my copy of Halo 2. It may not be the exact copy we got on day one, but it's a great thing to have on your shelf. I also still have my Halo: CE after fifteen years. It oughta still run like a champ. Just in case I want to see the end credits and hear nice music after beating a campaign, I'll always have my original Halo games.

i'd be hard pressed to say Halo 4 or 5's plots were good or made sense considering that whole surprise twist about who the Reclaimers actually are blatantly contradicts the entire trilogy, given that Guilty Spark clearly distinguishes humans as Reclaimers and AIs as constructs throughout all three games. also the idea that Master Chief is the product of some Forerunner evolutionary thing spanning millennia that made him the most evolved human or whatever they tried to tell us in Halo 4 just wasn't good storytelling. at all. like, that's 13-year-old fanfiction levels of ludicrous Mary Sue there
the Composer and Guardians are also clear cut examples of 343i disregarding anything Bungie previously put forth about the Forerunners. they apparently had weapons so powerful they could erase all signs of life from an entire city and mercilessly police entire solar systems, so how the hell did the Flood do so much against the Forerunners that activating the Halos was their only viable option? it's a complete contradiction to what was initially set up, and it also shows that 343i doesn't know how to properly escalate plotlines because they just keep introducing one-off tools of destruction and big bad guys, forcing players to dig past the games to figure out what happened to the previous big bads that were just dropped at the end of Halo 4
let's also not forget that they retconned literally all of human evolutionary history so they could justify reducing Forerunners to snake people in charge of a generic NPC faction
but hoho i'm just a silly 343i hater so what do i know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
not really. their formation wasn't of their own passion for the series, it was just thrown together by Microsoft since Bungie said they were done with Halo
Microsoft just didn't want to end the series since the name recognition dumps money into their pockets is a more fitting statement

Everything you have done made me so happy.I remember the day I got a xbox orginal just because halo came out then I got halo 2 limmited silver case edition it was a blast halo 3 I got it legendary edtion. Halo wars epic.halo 3 odst was so cool.now reach was the ultimate ending im glad I finished the fight.I beat everygsme on legendary to see the secret endings.thank you bungie and all the joy you brought to

I don’t know what or how I fell in love with halo but when I first saw my brother play one mission in halo reach not even the full thing I straight up wanted to play it and then found out about halo mega locks, action figures and the other halo games man it was destiny that brought me here

halo was one of the greatest game series ive ever played, and it was my favorite because it was fun/ arcade like game with a great story, 343 may not be carrying on the arcade but least they can carry on the story. as for bungie, you guys made a good move dropping to why'll your legacy was strong, and i hope destiny lives up to the tale.

it's weird how much people liked halo back then, and how much they underappreciate it now, with all the other FPS that have followed in Halo Combat Evolved's footsteps. It's been a great journey, and I look foward to where 343 industries is taking the franchise, and what new game Bungie has in store for us.

Don't hate on 343, you should be thanking them, they gave new life to Halo after Bungie abandoned it. If Bungie stayed they could of made a better or worse game, it's up for debate. But the last people you need to hate on is 343, they made one of the best Halo games of all time. You are just a die hard classic Halo fanbos who can't accept change.

Halo. It is my most Favourite Game Franchise and it always will be. Halo was the first Xbox game I play, and Halo 3 was the first 360 game I played. In my opinion, Halo is the best game of all time.

Bungie wanted to work on new projects but Microsoft didn't want to lose one of their best franchises so they gave the development rights to 343, a subsidiary studio they own. The only thing Bungie did wrong was get rid of crucial team members and sign a deal with the devil (A.K.A Activi$ion). So now everyone holds them accountable. The whole situation just sucks.
I have to say, this was one of the most successful series of all time. Thank you bungie.
Damn it feels like yesterday when I first got Halo 3. I remember putting that game into my 360 and playing the fuck out of it. I loved the amazing story and the amazing multiplayer, I loved it all! When I got Reach, I admit I was somewhat disappointed, but the game was still good, and dear ol' B312/Noble 6 will always remain as a legend. along with Arby and The Chief. Now I look at Halo, and I get disappointed. Halo 4 had a wonderful story, but shitty multiplayer. Halo 5 has a shitty story, but wonderful multiplayer (only cause of arena) and even then, microtransactions? I can understand it, considering the DLC is free (which is a good move from 343i) but they shove this REQ system down our throats and I hate it. Halo 5 doesnt even have a good UI, hell Halo 5 has barely anything good except for maybe the new "SPARTAN Abilities" Remember when Halo was beating COD and every single other competitor? Look at Halo now. Its trying to be its competitors, and its failing. Want proof? Halo 5 has had the lowest sales in Halo history. Halo is dying, and so is Bungie. Remember when Bungie wouldn't even allow Microsoft Executives in their office when they worked on Halo? Microsoft probably could never touch Halo when Bungie worked on it. Look at Bungie now, while Destiny is getting somewhat better, what Activision did to the game and Bungie still is very deep. Fucking silver? Ranking up your guardian to lvl 25 instantly? Screw that shit.
We love you Bungie and you shall be missed. Let's hope 343 is able to fill your shoes and keep an amazing series going.

For these past 10 or 11 years... We watched, we waited, we observed the evolution of shooting game generations. We challenged, we fought, we learned through experience. We read, we blogged, we listened to their story of a life time for this gamer generation. And now its time to depart these sweet sounds and tunes of HALO and await a new journey through the stars with Bungie's new awaiting games... But let us remember here is our last stand on Reach. Thank you Bungie for these great 10 - 11 years
Halo made my childhood, this almost made me cry
Lol i remember back in 2004, not knowing what it was until i saw that halo 2 gameplay demo. I had to get the game, there was no doubt about it. then i got halo 1, then halo 3 came out, blown away. then i got halo reach... greatest game ever.
I wasn't even born when the first Halo came out. Kinda wish I knew a time when triple A titles were amazing.
remember when this is what gaming was about? making fresh new games and people coming together to have fun and laugh with their friends about killing each other, now its which game can make the most money and release it the fastest with the best graphics, i miss the good old days but hopefully halo 4 will do just that :)

I miss the days of playing Halo 2 & 3 multiplayer, Halo 3 custom games, watching Red vs Blue and Arby n the Chief, Master Chief Sucks at Halo, and just having a blast with my friends. I really hope Halo 4 makes all of those twisted COD zombies realize who's really king so we can have those fun days again.
Thank you Bungie for all the years of making the best game serie for the Xbox and Xbox 360. I hope we can see you in the future to make another great game for Xbox. We will never forget for what you have done for gamers.
