My Filipina wife always complains about the way I cook the fish I catch. I caught a couple of stripped bass this week and decided to find a receipt she might like. This one looked interesting, so I gave it a try. I hardly got to eat any once she dug in. She told me to cook my fish this way from now on. I plan to forward this video to all my fishing buddies.
Just did this recipe with a big ‘ol snapper. It is outstanding, outrageous, amazing, wicked and wild! Delicious!!! Super easy. Very grateful to you Ms. Claudy
Wow, this the greatest feedback of all. I wish i had a pic of the snapper through IG @cookingwithclaudy. Thanks for this feedback, enjoy your meal. Dont forget to share and subscribe
I have my own restaurant, that is to say i work, sleep, dream food, i'm all over the internet and ill tell you, This is the MOST BEAUTIFUL SNAPPER i've seen .
I made this recipe and ate 7 lbs of fish !!! I didn’t even know I was capable of eating 7 lbs of fish !! This recipe is amazing !! I added this video to my favourites and I’ll continue making it !! You’re the best, you made me feel fantastic ❤❤
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this recipe. I have to admit, I was a little worried that it used all dried herbs and spices but I was so very happy with the result. It was delicious. My family enjoyed it greatly.
That is incredible! I'm half Thai and grew up around deep fried red snapper, usually served with plenty of fried garlic and a lime, chilli and fish sauce dressing. This dish here is very presentable.
I tried this tonight, very good! I have high blood pressure so I only used 1/2 of a teaspoon of season salt instead of 2 teaspoons. My family and I enjoyed it! My snapper was very large so I cooked it for 38 minutes total at 380 degrees. It was so good! Thank you so much for posting this video.
I made this from Christmas. First time ever making red Snapper. It was a amazing!! I had to cut down on the cayenne, and replaced garlic powder with "better than bullion-Garlic" (It's like a concentrated garlic reduction/paste)... Im in America, and I baked @ 425°F for 13min each side. Came out amazing!!!
Hi Everyone, In the Video, I didn't bake. It's BROIL option. If your oven shows High or low, broil on high in the middle rack and keep checking from time to time applying more marinate so it doesn't dry off. If your oven shows numbers, BROIL AT 360 -380 °F. Hope this helps.
I have the fish marinating in the refrigerator right now-and when I get off of work,it'll be going in the oven to broil for my dinner this evening after breaking my fast for Ramadan. I'm so excited to try this recipe! Thank you for sharing.I can't wait to try it! Thanks again...
Girl, you are the bomb! I just got through eating. Your seasoning recipe is amazing! There's no need for me to ever order red snapper, or any other fish when I dine out anymore. Thank you so much for sharing!
Making personal notes here in case I need to adjust... Went with the recipe exactly except only used 1 tsp of cayenne and used 2 tsp of Carribean Traditions Fish Seasoning in place of the bouillon (couldn't find fish cubes). Heated it for a couple minutes and let cool before basting the fish and letting it sit. Update after eating this. No need to cook the oil and spices imo. Had small to medium sized snappers and grilled in a gas grill for about 3-5 minutes each side. Used 1cup of rapeseed oil. It was freaking amazin'!!
Can I just say....this recipe absolutely blew any other recipe I have ever tried out of the water!!! Absolutely delicious!! Thankyou so much!! Keep posting! ❤️
I just came off a 7 day fast and decide to eat Red Snapper. I used your recipe. HONEY HONEY, THE FISH WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!Thank you for sharing your recipes. I can definitely cook but I wanted something different. And this recipe really really did it for me. My kids who normally don't care for seafood. They Was Killin it. So thank you once again!!!
Absolute amazing. Super easy. A good amount of spiciness, but not too much. Can't wait to make it again this weekend!! Thank you!! The marinade is brilliant!!
Thank you for the recipe!! One of the best fish recipes I’ve made and we’ve made a lot! My husband is picky when it comes to fish and he LOVED it! Must try 😋
Claudy,I want to thank you for such a delicious and wonderful recipe! It was great! I didn't use Red Snapper. I used totally different kind of fish for the recipe-and it was amazing!! Thanks for sharing!
From today henceforth I am only going to use your recipes. This is the best fish I have ever eaten and it was my first time doing this. Thanks madam Claudy
This is so good. I was apprehensive when i saw the comments about broiling instead of baking (was already well started 😅) but this still turned out amazing. I was so excited to catch a keeper snapper today, thank you! 🤙
First time cooking Snapper and chile this was good!! I added some lemon pepper and fish seasoning to the recipe since I cut down the ingredients in half.

For those who are a bit health conscious, you can substitute the Maggi Chicken Seasoning for McCormicks Chicken bouillon cube, and eliminate the MSG. Claudy, looks absolutely delicious, I can't wait to try this. Was that 380 degrees on broil or bake?
pele red snapper fish...from the look of the fish's mouth...the fish is like...are all these ingredients for me... anyway nice grill.... i will try this
I have not had the chance to try this recipe yet but overall looks good. Next time, it'd probably be easier to submerge the fish in the marinade, or if you don't have or don't want to make that much marinade, put the fish in a ziplock back and empty the marinade in the bag then apply thoroughly.
This my first time coming to youtube channel on how you cooked your red snapper 🐟 fishes looking 😋 yummy and delicious subscribers i will make this at home thank you
