#Vinesauce #Vinny #SNES - Игры
Worst part about that Dennis the Menace game is the end of the game. The devs didn't have time to finish the final boss, so they added an unclearable gap so you can't beat the final level.
Holy crap that is cruel and lazy as ever
I think that's only the case with the Amiga version
@@zx_spectra and even then that was just the demo version, the full version didn't have the impossible jump
@@St_Rizlathe A500 version. The standard issue Amiga.
The later A1200/ECS and CD32 versions fixed it
Oh yeah, Guru Larry talked about that.
Vinny plays Where's Waldo: Waldos everywhere, the game is short, the wizard is a kind smiling being
Joel plays Where's Waldo: Waldo is near impossible to find, the game lasts 4 hours, the wizard is a cruel monster from hell that inflicts 800 CBT damage per second
So that's where CBT wizard comes from.
lmao
OkNerd
CBT Damage kek
CBT damage sounds like something out of a Shin Megami Tensei game, it's probably more powerful than even Almighty.
10:05 "I'm feeling very vulnerable right now" Man, that's very brave, hits me right in the feels
I was not prepared for the part where Vinny uses the TikTok ai voice at 19:20
jumpscare warning at 23:09
YEH, PERMANENT SPINE DAMAGE
DO YOU HAVE IT?
PERMANENT, PERMANENT
SPAIN DAMAGE
Where in the video was this
@@ytrrzv5899 15:28
22:50 ok I think the gag here is that "Grossebergen" is (poor) German for "large mountains". No further explanation needed.
10:26 there's nothing more rewarding than hearing the sound of a wet fart when you find Waldo
I envisioned frying chicken when I heard it
Hey old chum
Hugh Neutron moment
It is rare to see vinny playing a snes game that isn't a romhack or a corruption.
That's because he invokes his passive at least once a stream, and MAKES corruptions.
It’s actually rarer to see him play rom hacks.
Sometimes he does Chrono Trigger. And by sometimes I mean alltimes
It's pain
15:28 Another addition to Vinny’s Greatest Hits album.
"Gaming was so much better back in the '90s!"
the '90s:
Honestly, even modern consoles suffer from the same bullshit. Just look at the amount of shovelwares for the Wii. Most licensed retro games are essencially Shovelware but 16-bit if you think about it.
@@maxesreal every gen has had shitty games and always will
@@pup64hcp Consoles that are expensive to develop for usually have much less shovelware
@@DuskNeverEnds i was about to say "vr would like a word with you" but then i realized that in the grand scheme of things, a one off oculus purchase and super simple unity vr development is not that expensive.
@@DuskNeverEnds apparently PS2 was difficult to develop for, and it still had tons of shovelware
Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball is actually a hysterical "bad" game. Back when I owned it, I used to always pull it out at parties. 🤣 We'd always start off talking shit, saying how bad it is and why we're even playing it. Then minutes later, we're all getting into it trying to beat each other, placing bets and laughing so much because of how bad it is. The things that happen in the game were just too funny. I actually recommend it.😂
my favorite thing about really old games is how often every object would be possessed for some reason
That "Emaciated ren" is your clue how to beat the level. That's Ren, painted to look like a Dalmatian.
2:36 Dennis, I'm sorry I yelled at you like that... what we're gonna do now, is I'm gonna learn ya how to play Buttball.
Seeing as you're in my basement. Step 1. Never tell your parents! Step 2. NEVER TELL YOUR PARENTS!
YA GETTIN' *SEVEN* ACROSS THE ASS!
I bet everyone in chat was quoting this.
@@SerucipeThey were. Sorry you had to wait this long to find out.
The fucking tiktok voice had me in tears I can't imagine Vinny ever using that shit
9:13 I swear for a second I thought that was Frylock in the bottom left as a playable character, years before his TV debut
Minor correction: King Arthur specifically bankrupted Enix's American branch. It was the only game they published. Any future games that Enix published either didn't make it stateside or had a different publisher outside of Japan (ex. Mischief Makers was published in Enix in Japan, but by Nintendo in America).
they could have easily been successful with like the rest of their library. Kinda strange how they half-assed themselves into bankruptcy...Enix IS where some beloved games have come from, then AND now...
Didn't Enix America also publish Ogre Battle?
The Dracula bit made me smile. I love Psygnosis as a developer, and they made some GOOD looking games, but they were also no stranger to games made for the sake of a paycheck. For every Puggsy or Wiz and Liz there was a Bram Stoker's Dracula. That's just how it was in the 90s, man.
On an unrelated note I will never be able to unhear _PERMANENT SPIIIIINE DAMAGE._
The 90s were good times, it's just that I hated strict video game and television policies which ruined anime and video games back in the day. I was also upset I had to live without Princess Daisy as a playable character only because many people got fooled by Daisy's heavy resemblance to Peach which caused them to think that Daisy was a nickname of Princess Peach instead of a new character.

5:12 It's a deep, DEEP cut, but that triangular-looking symbol on the ground is the exact same symbol as the Dark Reapers Aspect Warriors from Warhammer 40k. No, I have no idea why I recognized it off the top of my head.
I think I recognized these as well, these have various numbers such as "alchemy symbols"
It's not an alchemical symbol, or at least not a standardized one. Looks like one of the stage designer decided to merge together the symbol for antimony and sulphur and called it a day.
Loved this segment. Nostalgic Nickelodeon and permanent spine damage is honestly one of my favorite bits.
Fun Fact: Mario 64 was actually going to be put on the Dreamcast as a launch title with Sonic Adventure but development costs and time constraints forced Nintendo to put it on the N64
Oh how the turn tables.
Now Segas the one putting all they're games on Nintendo hardware. (And.. any other consoles they can.)
"i dont remember frodo saving sam from wolves" looks like someone hasn't read the silmarillion
I think my copy of the Silmarillion is missing some pages, because I don't remember that.
Wait a minute, it doesn't even mention hobbits.
And I'm pretty sure Sam and Frodo weren't even born until after the events described in the Silmarillion.
I'm starting to think this is one of those "jokes" I heard so much about.
@@Powoga Don't worry, bro. It's all covered in the new hit Amazon Original, The Rings of Power.
Blues brothers snes really captures all those classic movie moments everyone remembers like when Mario blues and Luigi blues found the jukebox on the floating island
7:55 Fun fact about the guy credited under Concept and Design (Alex DeMeo), my dad used to work for him ages ago under a company he created in the early 2000s after Imagineering became defunct
What company ?
3:37 I didn't know Thanos had a stint in the California Raisins
8:03 this one might not be fun to play. but wow is it beautiful.
7:31 this is burned in my memory. I never got past this as a kid
Race Drivin’ was literally one of the first three games my aunt got me for my birthday along with my SNES. The other one was the pack in Super Mario World obviously and Super Castlevania IV, so I wasn’t too upset.
Mrs. The Menace! Dennis came over to my house and fell down the stairs again! AGAIN! HE'S SO CLUMSY!!!!!!
0:34 Happy to finally see PBG referenced in a Vinesauce video. They've been strangely linked, loosely, for a long time, going back to when Peebs used the Vinesauce corrupter for a video in like 2014.
The circle is complete.
The galaxy is at peace.
The End? lol
Good to see that permanent spine damage is still here. Then again, it's permanent so it's not going anywhere
"How the f*ck are you supposed to know that?" Since every streamer and tuber somehow forgets they lived thru an era when video games came with printed instructions, the answer is "trial and error".
13:10 - best thing is this is how they pictured year 1995 - industrial hell and toxic waste everywhere.
I rented that GUTS game from Blockbuster once. But I remember absolutely nothing about it, so I guess we didn't think it was very good.
25:19 fun fact. not sure if anyone cares but my girlfriend's grandfather actually worked for mario segale!
SNES Dennis the Menace to me is the absolute worst of the worst. It feels like a beta, or something thrown together in a couple of months.
It gives me flashbacks to that gamegrumps episode on the game lol
@@sandmans5980 FUTURE BUTTBALL
Hey, Mr. Wilson! *Slingshots the SNES game directly at Mr. Wilson*
The Amiga port was even worse; ocean ran out of time to finish it, so they put a jump that's literally impossible to clear in it.
I think the only thing we saw all session that actually was Mode 7 was Wayne’s World’s giant head zooming in/rotating. Everything else tried to be 3D polygons which Mode 7 was not (which is also why they run like crap).
Rex’s surgery is so experimental that he’s actually just taking a thermite laser to a singularity. We don’t know what’ll happens so legally it’s “experimental”
This was one of my favourite Vinesauce videos ever and it was so hysterical, especially Where's Waldo?
15:57 "But you can't look at Nickelodeon's Guts and be like, those are the bakas."
No, I can look at BAFTA award-winning games like Heavy Rain instead.
19:18 Ren confirmed for TikTok Sexyman?????
11:59 Vinny starts playing Lego Battles on the Nintendo DS
Fun fact: There was an officially licensed *pinball table* for Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Fun fact 2: Cannondale Cup is actually a repackaged standalone re-release of a game made for an exercise bike that ran off of a Super Nintendo. No I’m not joking.
The pinball machine is actually really awesome
Another fun fact: The exercise bike game on the SNES was also the basis for a Speed Racer title.
So not only could you ride a bike on your SNES using an exercise bike, you could also drive a car as well using that same exercise bike.
Anyone else recall a contest on Nickelodeon where the winner would have their face put on the player character in the Wayne's World SNES game? I definitely recall something to that effect.
I did not know Qui-Gon Jinn worked as one of Nintendo's lawyers. The more you know!
the "tik tok bot" you had going at the ren/stimpy segment almost killed me with cancer, hiv, monkeypox, coofvid and ebola.
"Because rock and roll is best, bagpipes bad."
Korn: and i took that personally.
What’s makes race drivin really bad is that not only does the sega genesis actually runs and plays better but the GAME BOY version also runs and controls better.
Oh hey, Mario is missing! I was just playing that the other day with my daughter. She's just about to be four so I figured a nice easy game with basic controls and no risk of losing would be good to get her used to a controller. She loves jumping on the "evil turtles."
That’s adorable!
it just goes “ISN’T REN A HOTTIE?!” and i’m like “wtf-“
I've owned Dracula for years, and I've never known how someone can skip the big sword so easily. It's in the first level, and you follow the arrow at the top of the screen (which is in every nonlinear level) to find it.
That being said, yes, the game is janky as hell. The respawning and immediately losing half your health to things you can't see is a big one, since for some reason the camera has to scroll all the way back to the checkpoint before you can actually see yourself.
The lord of the Rings was the first time I realized video games could be bad as a kid.
Some childhood favorites here. I had bad taste.
Pbg reference is appreciated, thank you binny and editor :)
6:03 The editing teases it a little bit with the clip but the GameBoy version of FaceBall had amazing music and I am always disappointed when I see the SNES version because it does not share the kickass soundtrack.
@ 11:28 did the water really turn all bloody when the kid fell in!?!
I meant @ 15:28
I remember briefly playing the Wayne's World game in 4th grade and having *no clue* what the show was like for context. Also had Super Mario World and ended up playing that more of course.
As a Detroit sports fan, I am hurt by Vinny's lack of knowledge of Bill Laimbeer
as a Celtics fan, it’s well-earned 😉
"Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball"
or as a true basketball fan would know it, "A normal basketball game with Bill Laimbeer in it"
17:16
Livesy before he was cool.
0:42 oh, god, not Titus.
5:21 the original mario is missing but fun fact someone has made a newer version which is hack called mario is missing done right and it's way better then the terrible original
Aren't the voice clips at 1:17 the same as in the intro for Action 52?
“Who is Bill Laimbeer?” Me: “Why is my back suddenly hurting?”
Man, the SNES really got gipped when it comes to Ren And Stimpy games. I remember the one on Genesis being really fun
Yeah, I had that one as a kid too. I don't know how much of it was just because I was a kid and didn't know any better, but I remember really liking it, even though I had never actually watched the show since it wasn't on TV where I was.
I remember a Ren & Stimpy game having that programming bug where u coudlnt beat the game cuz one of the last levels were unaccessible. Which of the many was it?
@@Evilriku13 I don't know. It wasn't the Genesis one I can say that for sure cause I've beaten that one many many times
@@Evilriku13 Im pretty sure it was Time Warp. Though I don't exactly remember what bug it was.
SNES had FOUR Ren & Stimpy games. FOUR! It couldn't have been more obvioius that THQ wanted to cash in on the R&S craze
I can't remember if the chat blew up with Game Grumps references when Dennis the Menace was on, but I kinda hope they did. Just a little bit.
My name is Mister Wilson
And I'm here to say
I'm gonna smack your ass
In a major way
What are you doin in my basement, get outta here!
GET OUTTA HERE!!!!!
"What are you doing in my basement, GET OUTTA HERE"
There was at least enough butt ball mentions to get vinny to notice.
The JET sample is actually from that one really often-used drum loop, the Think Break I think
That Lord Of The Rings game, I actually partly reverse engineered it's savestate text file.
Punch in 3P5, eight times in a row. It should start you with all characters and essentially maxed out stats and items. That code also happens to cancel out the checksum field.
15:55 All the baka gaijins can't make any games
90s PC and arcade Games say hi
The baka gaijin made Duke 3D and Quake, suck it weebs
The Dennis the Menace game gave me flashbacks to when I used to watch game grumps. That was one of their better videos
Imagine asking for Mario all stars for your birthday and you get the blues brothers.
YES I love it when Vinny plays random awful old games
I like Vinny gradually losing the will to live as the national stereotypes get worse and worse
3:18 Mr. Wilson looks like Saddam Hussein.
Don't know if anyone mentioned it when you played it, but the Where's Waldo? game you played was actually based on the cartoon. Also, there was a cartoon.
18:21 That level caused Mii to have vore nightmares for YEARS… I would always slap the exposed nerves in Stimpy’s mouth, thinking that they were enemies, as every game I played up until that point taught Mii “if it moves, you can kill it”… Battletoads being the only exception in that “if it moves, it can kill you”…
Vinny gets into a fatal horrible car accident.
*Adorable giggling*
My favorite thing about Mario is missing is how they didn't even make the luigi sprite for the game, it was already in smw when you got a star
Between the video saying it was a palette swap and this comment I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Luigi was a playable sprite IN Super Mario World as the second player when you play a 2 Player game.
@@unicornonthecob5856 Oh 2 player mode is so forgettable. Now this raises another question though. Did they reuse luigis sprite when you get a star as mario or did they reuse the sprite of mario flashing with the star for luigi?
4:25 Vinny went a little overboard
*Sees GUTS*
Ah, right, the game that let Vinny sing himself a new and annoying meme. I now have PERMANENT BRAIN DAMAGE -- PERMAN--
That baby comment had me dying laughing
Race Drivin
Mmmm yes, the floor here is made out of floor.
THE EARLIEST I'VE EVER BEEN TO A VINESAUCE VIDEO. literally still says no views. amazing
It's a private video sent to you and you alone. We're all bots pretending to be fans
I want you to know you earned a sub fro me by singing 'permanent.. permanent spine damage' lmfao
Glad to see I'm not the only person who pronounces titus that way.
4:38 I OWNED THIS GAME AAAAAAAAHHH
1:53 Correction, there is *one* good game based on this movie, the pinball game. One of the coolest pins of the early 90s with a great YM2151 soundtrack.
19:20 This is the worst thing you've ever done in your entire career
10:41 “ I heard him last night hanging out with some whooorre GARY wake up! “
24:10
Technically we got the SpongeBob movie the game and it was great if ya think about it, just pretend the rest of the movie games don't even exist :>
in the blue brother game its a sample from the song "think about it" its really common
My name is Mr.Wilson and I'm here to say...
"I am feeling very vulnerable right now"
22:37
is it racist if all the caricatures are horrendous and disgusting
10:59 Is that CBT Wizard from Joel's Meme House?
4:18 these Fill Arcades at Cinemas and TimeZones today
9:43 looks like that sonic cd minigame
For that Race Driving game, a hobbyist modified the game using a SuperFX chip and actually got it to run at 30+fps. I didn't own a SNES when it was current (I was a Sega fanboy at the time, thankfully I've since learned my lesson and am not a fanboy of anything anymore), so I missed out on the bad games, as by the time I got to play SNES games I pretty much had a list of all the must play greats.
10:06 That track in the background is pretty cool.
I remember renting out a SNES at BlockBuster Video and we had to put down a $100 deposit just to rent it and Super Mario World wasn't rented out with it they made you rent the game out as well and that was $10 for two nights. We were so blown away by they graphics I was 12 when the SNES came out.
