This story is so incredibly perfect holy crap. Tingle goes all the way to tingle island to get the light arrows so he can just go fight ganon right away but as he arrives he realizes he left the light arrows at home and lost his house keys on the way.
Vinny's randomized Zelda playthroughs are always the best because I love watching his descent into madness as he opens chest after chest of useless items i.e. the "10 Arrows Incident"
I hate how the tingle mod is so well made it doesnt even look out of place. If I knew nothing about the game and someone showed me it I wouldnt question anything

Wind Waker is probably my favorite Zelda, even surpassing OOT for me, I don't know why, but I just love everything about this one. Happy to finally see the highlights of this run.

This was when I started watching Vinesauce actually. It was a bit unfortunate timing considering the events that led to him going pre-recorded for a while happened not long after but I still have good memories of this and I still watch this jabroni 2 years later.

I definitely identify with losing melodies or lyrics in dreams. Just feels like a huge loss. But on the other hand when I'm dreaming, everything seems extremely profound until I go back over it when I'm awake. Then it barely makes sense.
for me since I'm solo it's losing entire project files of a perfectly produced track. drum patterns, melodies, synths, effects, automation, mastering... everything... something that could take months or years to tweak and perfect, sounds that mesh together so well it produces harmonic phantom sounds in the silence, bass so pure and strong it resonates not just your body but your soul... but is it really a loss, when we wake and forget, if only we realise it still resides within us and one day, with enough hard work and perserverance, we may one day meet again, as that dream proves to have once been a glimpse of the future that could have been, and we forgot the dream because by definition a dream isn't real, and we promised to ourselves to make it a memory of life instead. do not regret the dreams we forget; we cannot remember the life not lived yet

It's wonderful that this run gave us Tingle Mode. After all, Tingle is, by his own admission, beauty incarnate. That one's for people who remember the Soul Calibur VI Memesplosion. Hopefully we get a Street Fighter 6 Memesplosion from Vinny, 'cause that game also has a character creator, and I really wanna see if people can top the memes made in SCVI. If someone can pit Guy Fieri or Ralph Blutawn against Vinny's Cicero, that's gonna bring back the glory of the previous Memesplosion.
My favorite kind of Vinny joke is when he just comes up with some random ass story and then tells it with the most serious deadpan voice, like pissing on the disc and Tingle showing up

With the discussion about saying words incorrectly with halberd and stuff, when I was a kid I used to pronounce "Ocarina of Time" as "Ocean-area of Time." Not spelt different or anything but I had never heard of an ocarina and pronounced it like that for YEARS. It wasn't until I was like 12 that I was talking to my uncle about it on the phone and he had no idea what I was saying and said "do you mean Ocarina of Time?" and I realized I had been saying it wrong all along and attribute that realization as a small part of the death of my innocence.

A randomized Windwaker playthrough having Tingle take the place of Link and having the sword, shield, hammer, and bottle replaced with his image is truly miraculous luck. So glad Vinny is this lucky!

Wind Waker is wonderful. Great sense of adventure, a cool setting, a lovely artstyle, and for me it's probably the most nostalgic game out there.
