The only upgrade I did to my 15-22 was replace the extractor with a Volquartsen Extractor. Now it runs flawlessly!! The $18 Volquartsen Extractor is very sharp, aiding in ejecting any and all spent shells.
Polymer is great, light, durable and it does not rust. This rifle is also lethal, there was a video where a man in self defense killed an armed burglar with three shots.
@@videogazer801 Any shots from a 22 Lr are lethal. I knew a man whose cousin playing around shot him in his right tight, the round travelled up his femur bone grazing his urinary bladder and ended up lodged in his intestines. He was in agony and almost died from internal bleeding. That round can travel when fired with a rifle up to 300 meters and more.
There was another occasion where the suspect got shot in his neck and the 22 Lr round came out his mouth immobilizing him. It is not a BB gun, I don’t care what ignorant people are saying.
@@marckcarbonelloifveteran410 definitely not a toy. There's other videos judging the penetrative ability of 22lr, and while definitely not in the same league as larger calibers, the conclusion always is do not underestimate the humble 22lr.
I have the same stock in mine. It came out the factory with the S&W stock and I replaced it for the Magpull stock. This stock is solid and does not rattle.
Why does some people talk about the magazines splitting on these ?? I’ve never ran into that issue. I love the M&P 15-22, so much so I’m thinking about picking up another one
dunno if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch all the latest series on Instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my girlfriend for the last months xD
Yea it’s a nice little gun when it shoots. Mine jammed every 6th round. Tried new ammo, new OEM magazines and then contacted S&W for help. S&W sent me a shipping label to return the item for repair. Can’t wit to see what was wrong with it, and if they charge me for repairs. It was jamming since the first time I used it.
I just got the unit returned to me yesterday. They changed the extractor and bolt/firing pin. Need to take it out ans try it. The rage testing apparently was good at the factory @@alejandrovillegas4195

No extractor problems??

The only way this .22 can kill a home invader with 3 shots is if they are all head shots at point blank through the eyes 👀

Ideal ammo for this rifle, federal or CCI minimags 22Lr rounds.
Thanks!
I love this little gun... purchased it for my son aswell but I definitely get more run time nowadays.
No problems with the extractor??
Nice video. I am still debating between the M&P15 SPORT II or saving money and getting the original M&P15 SPORT. Is there a huge a difference?

Never had any mag issues myself.
What shroud is that? I’ve seen some on-line but I want the exact look for my 15-22. Thx.
Been thinking about this plinker, want to teach my nieces the platform.

@Cairo Coleman yup, I've been watching on InstaFlixxer for since november myself :D
Please what is the size and brand of barrel shroud? Looks great!
It comes with that one.

Hopefully it's good to go when you get it back!
I would've recommended getting a new extractor. That definitely fixed my jamming issue for only $14

I will use it for self defense if I have too.
Next time, please review the product with original parts… Just a thought! Good information thought thanks!
is this deadly?
Can you take the stock off completely?
Yeah you can change the stock out
Can I turn this into a good home protection weapon?
Can I get the link to purchase the barrel shroud?
Are you in ID? It looks like the view from my backyard. The range looks like the one we go to that’s close to the winery.
Utah
Would anyone recommend this as a good starting rigle? I'm seriously looking to get my card and I'd love to pick this up.
Yeah, it's a really fun pinker.
What brand is the barrel shroud you put?
I want to buy that barrel shroud for mine can you drop a link for me to check it out?
Will the milspec stock fit or is it commercial?
Milspec
The 5.56 is a 22 Caliber ammo. I compared it with a 22 Lr round and has the same diameter. Practically a 22 on Steroids.
More punch behind the 5.56 because of the larger case size.

Can you tell me the manufacturer, and even better the part number, for the replacement grip???
I'll do you one better. Here's the link bit.ly/3s5ud2B 😀

The MLOK slots are at 30, 60 and 90 only, the other slots are vents only, can't attach anything to them
