I did Muay Thai in Pai, Thailand, and I really struggled with getting enough protein to match the level of training. I'm sure tiger would be different.

My body was not keeping in the food...I would puke after almost every meal....I'm assuming these fighters go thru a similar situation because the camp provides the chow. He is a beast but he's going 75% power with the shots while everyone else is going 30-40% power out of respect for him. Not exactly a fair training trade off. Like Charles said at 7:48, it's not his country so he isn't going to go 100% against their prized fighter and take the chance on hurting him.

And the Thai is not going 75% power and he's using the inner thigh to land knees. Johnson has less than 10 fights while Saksurin Kiatyongyut, 300+. If he went "fair" back, the Thai would wreck him.
Taugrim then get it mate, I was barely able to kick to chest height last year after a long lay off but 15 minutes a day flexibility stretching and I am now able to kick my mate in the face and he’s 6ft 4.
Tf Oh It depends on what’s tight but I always have tight hip flexors and calves so I concentrate a lot on those areas. There’s a great 15 minute stretch routine on here for beginners by Tom Merrick that I started with, I then used FightTips kicking flexibility video. I also asked my coaches who gave me tips that I incorporate into my daily routine because they could see the areas I needed the most improvement.
Tf Oh do them butterfly stretches. I'm 5'2 and I can get my round kick to 6'0. Those butterfly stretches are what I would say I got 90% of my flexibility from. If you don't know how to do them, sit on the floor, put your feet together (sole to sole) bring them as close to your body as you can and hold them with both hands, and use your elbows to force your knees as close to the ground as you can get
I gotta watch more of these videos to remind me that whatever I'm going through is nothing compared to getting beat up to have a place to sleep and eat.

I think it's when you have a deep bruise on your shin and when you kick and land with that part of your shin your leg shuts off (more so like a shocking feeling)
The clinching segment reminded me of Game of Thrones when Tyrion was going to go through a trial by combat vs the mountain. Cersei had slaves approach the mountain and he just massacred them one after the other while they’re completely defenseless. This guy is the mountain, the fighters are the slaves.
I've been hit repeatedly to my abdominal with a medicine ball from a trainer who wanted to, in my opinion, break me. I keep talking shit (it tickles) and maintaining my plank.

I agree, it's all in the mind and how you feel. But my body is not how it used to be, I trained 6 hours every day at my peak, now it's not even close. I would for sure have chosen a different carrer path if I was young again.

Muay Thai and Muay Lao, the coaches and the ppl look at big strong and fit ppl that look as if "Intimidating" to most... and it's almost like ok big fella let's see what you are made of! It's not a judgmental thing More of a, let's see what we can turn this guy into. Where his mind and what he's willing to do to learn or how well can he keep his cool. And lastly... Let's teach him and turn him into a monster!!! Love that ppl all over the world are falling in love with the same fight techniques as we grew up learning!!! One Love!!
