      @@intensecutn Interesting....I figured the hardest part was the nutrients they are taking in. During Marine Corps boot camp back on 03...I lost large amounts of weight but due to the food. My body was not keeping in the food...I would puke after almost every meal....I'm assuming these fighters go thru a similar situation because the camp provides the chow. Thanks for your insight brother.

    • @jesusbonnie
      @jesusbonnie 5 лет назад +10

      @@nukiepie Good point too...I'm wondering if they are allowed to go and eat street food...if so...I would be eating like royalty each day. But most of these fighters are there for a scholarship, which in my mind tells me that they do not have the funds to support their way thru a high level camp.

      @RealECM 5 лет назад +16

      He is a beast but he's going 75% power with the shots while everyone else is going 30-40% power out of respect for him. Not exactly a fair training trade off. Like Charles said at 7:48, it's not his country so he isn't going to go 100% against their prized fighter and take the chance on hurting him.

    • @regimiro4888
      @regimiro4888 4 года назад +12

    • @SandaBoxing
      @SandaBoxing 4 года назад +9

      @@RealECM BS. Charles Johnson threw a thrust knee with the point of the knee at 6:01 , that's why he got hit back hard. And the Thai is not going 75% power and he's using the inner thigh to land knees. Johnson has less than 10 fights while Saksurin Kiatyongyut, 300+. If he went "fair" back, the Thai would wreck him.

There’s a great 15 minute stretch routine on here for beginners by Tom Merrick that I started with, I then used FightTips kicking flexibility video. I also asked my coaches who gave me tips that I incorporate into my daily routine because they could see the areas I needed the most improvement.

    Hi. My name is Richard from Canada. I have been thinking of training Muay Thai in Phuket for a couple of months.
    I was wondering more about the costs there. Rent gym etc.
    I’m almost 60 but have been boxing for nearly 30 years.
    Thank you

    Muay Thai and Muay Lao, the coaches and the ppl look at big strong and fit ppl that look as if "Intimidating" to most... and it's almost like ok big fella let's see what you are made of! It's not a judgmental thing More of a, let's see what we can turn this guy into. Where his mind and what he's willing to do to learn or how well can he keep his cool. And lastly... Let's teach him and turn him into a monster!!! Love that ppl all over the world are falling in love with the same fight techniques as we grew up learning!!! One Love!!
