If your card is a standard 1070 than It would be an immediate +20-80 fps increase across all of your games (Higher FPS depending on what you play/Settings). If you own a 1070 Ti its still a decent upgrade but obviously not as noticeable. You have a nice really nice processor so your best bet might be waiting for the Nvidia 3000 series in August so maybe prices drop and you can get a 2080 Ti. Lets start a tiny thread of the windforce 2070 super overclock results. Right now, at default, my clock has peaked 1970mhz on Unigine 4.0. Iv managed to get my core clock (memory untouched) to +120 at 2220mhz in unigine and 2080-2100 in afterburner. Two questions real quick, first why is there a 100mhz difference between the benchtester and afterburner? Second, this seems extremely high (good I guess) for this card when most of the forums and posts I read are showing this card barely capable of reaching 2080mhz. Do I have a god tier card or is there something else going on here? Everything seems stable so far, however I have only tested in unigine and have not gamed yet. At +120 core clock, I have gained roughly 10-11fps.
Yes. Most modern NVIDIA GPU's ship with gsync bundled into the software, if you can utilize it, it will be used, otherwise it is not used. Likewise if you have multiple displays, one with gsync, one without, it will be able to dual monitor and utilize the gsync for the monitor that supports it and the other one will work no problem. If you're looking for a good gpu, this one is pretty solid. I've got the white edition and I play most games at UHD (2k or 1440p) around 144hz (or 144 fps in game). Only downside to this particular model would be the poor software from Gigabyte, the RGB is lacking any customization. If I'm not mistaken you must have a Gigabyte motherboard paired with the GPU to even be able to download the driver software (for aesthetics.) So if customization of the rgb is a deal breaker for you, that's good information, but if you can deal with the preset rgb pattern its a solid card hardware wise.
Hmmm...Mine stays in 70 c in load not higher with fans on auto(65% speed) should i boost the fans? Im afraid not to damage them because i can't find any place to buy new ones in case they broke. Pls a little help :D or is it safe to let the gpu run on auto at 70c?

It looks very big. Can I mount it on a Rog Strix Z390-E?
6:12 "you will be hard pressed to actually hear the fans spinning". I returned my card today: When the temperature is low the fans are idle. But every 30 seconds or so, the fans rev up in two short bursts, like a revving car. Very annoying. Spent time in Gigabytes software AORUS trying to sort out the fan curve but gave up.
Never had that problem. What was your psu?
im currently sitting on my GTX 960 2gb for the past 4+ years lol and now im upgrading to the RTX 2070 super 8g :) im excited to see the difference !
What should I buy zotac 2070 super amp extreme or this one...?
Noob question, when it is said "as reference" is that pertaining to Nvidia's reference cards? So meaning this 2070super can use the same waterblock as a Nvidia 2070super?
I have a G-Sync panel and I'm on the fence. Black Friday coming up so I'll either get this one or the MSI Gaming Trio. Depends on which one has the best deal.
What store you buying from?
Im on the same boat :D
What did u get
Thanks buddy that was really helpful
Does this GPU fit in the Corsair Spec Alpha?
Just found your channel ..Good channel!!
It’s still your favorite? Or is there a new one that you would recomend.
returned rx5700 cause of driver issues, bought this baby🤤 wish me luck
I’m planing on getting this card w the ryzen 7 3700x
Impressive. I've been ask to lift a 2070 Gigabyte super gaming off a friend. Thanks for the heads up!
Found a brand new one for $460 usd, is that worth?
I have a 1070 atm. I have a 3900x, would this card be a big improvement for me? [stream/gaming]
And I would use this to check performance - www.gpucheck.com/gpu-benchmark-comparison
@@Jdkieddj I kinda took your advice, and bought a 2070s, I didnt wanna wait any longer :D otherwise i would have held off your the 3000series.
thank you for taking the time to hit me up
walkr6TV Hahha yeah same, if you can wait... wait I guess. But after the 3XXX launch, you would be waiting for the Super variants of them, and then the rumors of the 4XXX would be around, and so on haha. You can be waiting forever that way or buy now and enjoy it immediately 🙆🏻
Is this card better than the Gigabyte rtx 2070 super Aorus?
yea, and which would overclock better? The aorus has better power delivery i beleive
@@iBeFapping the aorus has much better specifications overall and a much higher boost clock.
ZedeX thanks for the reply, bought the Aorus 2070 S yesterday 👌
Mine boosts to around 1980 factory but overclocking takes it to around 2050. Voltage seems to be a issue with the 2070 supers.
@@iBeFapping i bought the aorus too. It has the highest boost Clock with asus but looks much better in my opinion
Thanks man, picking it up.
I don't know anything about PCs but i am trying to build my first PC and i want this card and i don't like the price where i live. I've been offered RTX 2070 Super ROG Strix Gaming OC for a bit less is it a good alternative?
whats the difference between the 2070 super gaming ov and the windforce?????????????????
With the oc it performs pretty much the exact same as the 2080 super stock in some titles that’s crazy!
Thanks for the video! Did you hear any coil noise/Whining while testing this gpu? People have been complaining about it alot. But the card looks to be a good investment.
Cheers
I'm no PC expert but I picked up a second hand MSI 3060 ti yesterday after upgrading from a 1660 and my god it sounded like it was going to take off plus the temps were peaking at 84c. I took it back to the shop and exchanged it for this 2070 super. Again I'm no expert, I've never even changed a GPU before and first signs doing a stress test and temps didn't go higher than 72c and I could barely hear the fans! now to test some games, so far so good fingers crossed.
Getting this after refunding a 5700xt which had crazy usage and fluctuation issues
Same here, random hard crashes and stutters on every game from LoL to MHW:Iceborne... Returned it after a month of troubleshooting trying everything I could.
This makes me feel better about buying the card in this video. The 5700xt has great performance for the price, but it seems like it's barely hanging in there
@Charles Lee Ray hopefully amd learns from this, because im also going nvidia.
Got an rtx 2070 for 385, im pretty happy
Please help me! 😉
On amazon I’ve seen two different versions of this card, one is exactly like the one shown in the video, the other one is not rgb and has not the 4 years warranty, anyone know which one should I buy? They are about 560 (not rgb one) and 590(rgb and 4years warranty one)
they are both 499 right now in microcenter
Jorge Santana yeah the prices I picked were from Amazon.it, luckily I found a msi rtx 2070 super gaming x trio for about €550, pretty good deal since it is one of the best customs
I have this card but I think my one is 1775 not 1815? Is there a difference or not really?
Is it possible to play in hdr or 4k with this video card?
Carlos Guttmann yes
1440 p good?
Is this graphics card g-sync compatible please someone let me know
If I'm not mistaken you must have a Gigabyte motherboard paired with the GPU to even be able to download the driver software (for aesthetics.) So if customization of the rgb is a deal breaker for you, that's good information, but if you can deal with the preset rgb pattern its a solid card hardware wise.
is there any issues of the rgb fusion and any reports of it dying before 6 months?
Hmmm...Mine stays in 70 c in load not higher with fans on auto(65% speed) should i boost the fans? Im afraid not to damage them because i can't find any place to buy new ones in case they broke. Pls a little help :D or is it safe to let the gpu run on auto at 70c?
I would like to know if this would fit in a NZXT h510 cause honestly it looks massive and idk if it would fit.
CatWIthARat does it
It does
any reason why evga cards were not used in these benchmarks?
i wanna see this. I believe they came out after this video. the evga cards are only a month old on newegg
Should I be pairing this with a 1440p 144hz monitor or 1080p 144hz? I was also going to go with Intel i5 because I dont think I need an i7. Just a casual gamer and want to eventually get into VR but no streaming, video editing etc.
@Libertas okay thanks for the info, some people on reddit told me the same thing but they said the 3700x
@Libertas awesome thanks again 🍻
If I connect it to MSI b450 tomahawk max, will I be able to change rgb color, or turn it off ?
Awesome, think i'll definitely be picking up this card, its great value for the high quality. Gonna be putting it in my first ever proper build with a Ryzen 3700x and an Asus X-570 chip, very hyped.

New to the pc world, what's the deference between this and the msi 2070 super I noticed the msi is a bit more in price
I read this card has a lot of coil whine? And it’s super loud?
I bought this card a week ago, I had to return it because of the coil whine and I read a few reviews from the site I bought and they also said that it had coil whine. It's a great card but the coil whine it's too loud.
ChristianPKB yeah I ended up getting the MSI 2080 and it’s super quiet
what the difference with this and the windforce version ?
I have this graphics card, I'm using a hdmi cable and a HDTV. I get a blank screen till windows so am unable to enter bios, any ideas?
The rgb on my gpu never lit up did I have to install the rgb program
same here. it might be because we dont have a gigabyte mother board
How diid you find it for £510 I could only find it for £550
For some reason there are two listings like that happens in the US as well if you look at newegg you find one for $500 and one for $550, i got mine for $500

Thanks for the great video! Considering buying the card, when overclocking how was the temperature and fan noise affected? alot of noticable fan noise when OC? Did you try undervolting as well? Thanks!
Does anyone know what i can sell one of these for right now?
Thank you for the video. I am a little confused - why is this your favourite 2070 super, if the MSI is a bit faster and also less noisy? Also, if I can ask one more question - I have a TV running at 4k/120fps with HDMI 2.1, and I am wondering if it's worth waiting for the new AMD 5900 cards.. but nobody knows when those will be released and whether they will have HDMI 2, support.. Thanks!
Andreas Moyseos I gotchu fam. You can look up the 5900 series and it’s set to release on the 7th if either June or July I don’t remember exactly but if you are waiting that long honestly wait for Nvidia 3000 series, looked really good with reliable sources setting their 2070 and 2080 at 12 gb vram and lower pricing than the 2000 series. Next year is about to be an insane year for GPUs. And I’m sure he’s referring to the price for the performance and that’s why it’s his favorite 2070 super
Is this better than the rtx 2070 super founders edition?
I have just bought it in Australia for $629 and a free 500gb ssd drive. Nice. Can't wait to put a new system together. That's through P. C. Byte. Will a 650 watt psu do with a ryzen 5 3600 and this card?
Will do
What are the settings for the overclock here to get it close to 2080S and how do I do it?
Such a nice card. Going from a 5600rtx which was nice, but the performance feels incredible using this.
