When I was in the army before deployment, I would know roughly the start , but not the end date.. so I'm sure they said goodbye the same way we did.. I'll see you when I return. No dates or expectations because we might not.

@@YeaitsejUnmanned deliveries are MUCH less complicated than a manned re-entry. The delivery vessel is allowed to crash. A return rocket is not.

@@acerjuglans383 hope the astronauts get back in one piece. Space exploration on a grand scheme would require every nation’s cooperation in resource allocation. Nobody will be able to withstand the gravity after traveling for such a long time in space. It would be better to spend money on improving our planet

That's because none of you know nothing about space travel 😂 As someone who knows a bit about this subject I've been cracking up laughing at these types of comments 😂😂😂 They are fine! In laymens terms - imagine a child being stuck at Disneyland for a bit longer than intended. They'll be just fine.

Just send a SpaceX dragon to get them. We know Dragon is a stable capsule.
NASA still wants competing companies that have dissimilar capsules
They can't, given that they weren't issued SpaceX suits -- which are bespoke.
The suits they went up in on the Starliner aren't compatible with the seats on a Dragon. It's highly unlikely that could even strap themselves into the seats upon descent.

I was going to mention the same thing. Howard was 10 days late. It would have caused him and everyone else on BB to have some major freak out moments. Not sure what else he could take off since he was stripping down to his undies. Then not having any brisket for such a long time might have been even worse lol

They launch like twice a week anyways, all theyd have to do is swap the satellite payload for a dragon capsule and it's done. Boeing should have never been involved in any of this

For starters, they recycle water. It appears that you're offering your unsolicited views regarding what the commentators REALLY should be considering as genuine concerns, without seeming to have any real foundation on what the particular concerns actually are. It's one thing to have some half-formed ideas about how you imagine things might or might not possibly work on the ISS, but it's quite another thing when you start offering up advice to others based upon what appears to be a rather fuzzy understanding of the matter. It comes off badly. If you wonder about some of these things that you're concerned about then you could ask about them. You would probably get some helpful responses.
I'm not suggesting that you go drink your own urine, but rest assured, they've figured out how to do it on the ISS. It's really not that complicated. The same can be said for resupply missions for food, etc.
If something does happen to the astronauts before they get to come back, you reporters who are laughing while telling the story are gonna look real disgusting.

i think theres a few docking bays and they could get more food whenever they wanted. the issue is they cant leave without the boeing craft until they are allowed to and im assuming they are just gunna let it float away and blow up in space.
