Gracie is beautiful! I raised two children, I'm in my 70's and just adopted two King Charles Cavalier puppies. It is like having a set of twins. I actually got these for my sister who is 82, had lost her rescue dog. She always wanted one, and I was able to do this for her, decided instead of one we would get two and they have been a joy. Please keep us updated on your little one. Congratulations!
Oh my goodness! Look at that sweet lil girl. She looks like a “Sharalee” puppy :) ❤️ We breed/how longcoat German shepherds. I also have raised two litters of Yorkie puppies. I remember having a litter of Yorkie pups in my office and I let my female whelp in my guest room. I kid you not, I have never worked harder in my life!! I’m OCD about. my house. My washing machine never stopped for 6 weeks! At 5 weeks the 6 GSD puppies moved into the outdoor kennel and we began litter box training them. But we had 10 puppies in the house and I was a nut job. Those babies got held and loved and weighed and all the things everyday. I’m blessed because they all have amazing homes and we are all “family”! I babysit some of them. Three of the families were out of state. A sweet gal flew from Seattle to New Orleans for her beautiful female GSD who barely fit under the seat at 8 weeks! We may have another litter first of the year but the time, the food, the health testing, vet visits….to get these puppies off to a good start and to a good home…Well, It is a real commitment! I applaud your friend for her job well done. Ms. Gracie is just a lil doll and I can’t wait to watch her mature!! You’re a good Momma ❤ Thanks for sharing her with us. And yes, a home without a pet is just not complete for this family ❤

When our 17 yo lab/great dane mix passed I said "no more big dogs"....WELL..My friend Heather had a stray female birth puppies under her shed and they needed homes or they were destined to be strays.... well, one lives with me now, and she's a Great Pyrenees mix...😳.. dogs 🐕 🐶 rule...
I have an Aussiedoodle...Bogie is the best dog ever!! He is so smart and adorable but not little! He weighs 70 beautiful pounds! BTW, we crate trained him for sleeping at night. He slept the first night 7 straight hours. Gracie is absolutely gorgeous and will bring you so much love and happiness!

Hi Sharalee, I rescued an English Bull Terrier that had been dumped out in the country abandoned. My children are adults and I have teenage grandchildren. She’s black with a small amount of white and some brindle. I lost my 16 year old bully a year & a half ago so I gave myself time to grieve. My new fur baby was only 10 months old and an Angel as your Gracie is. I named my new bully Oreo. Congratulations to you & your hubby

I know exactly how you felt loosing your other baby! My husband and didn’t have children together, we both have grown children from other marriages. We were devastated to loose our baby yorkie Tiffany. We both swore we’d never go through that devastation again!! We lasted 6 weeks! Our home was so quiet without our baby. I’d never had a puppy, Tiffany was a rescue and not quite 2. Miss Sophia is a full blooded Shih tzu! We take her everywhere! We camp all over the US & in July to Canada!
One of my dear friends is a very successful dog trainer. She said she explains the benefits of crate training to all her clients.
We have had very tiny Yorkies to huge mastiffs, all were crate trained from day one. Congrats on your new lil fur baby, she's a cutie.

She's adorable. I'm glad you mentioned rescuing because it's a wonderful thing to be able to rescue but sometimes you want a specific dog at a specific age. Plus you can still keep rescuing when the time comes. I'm sure everyone will just love Gracie.
I named my last female Grace(for God's Grace) and called her Gracie (Goodnight Gracie😉)

She loves you already!! You will be her mommy now. I am a cat person (have had a dog) Physically need cat. My last cat died in Nov. 22 and I said no more cats....but I was looking a little after Xmas. So one day jan 23.my son came home with a small box and inside was a beautiful kitty/cat about a yr. old. It was a rescue cat but came from an adoption company that takes care of the animals that are needing homes. Already been to the Dr., shots, etc.. She is a little girl beautiful markings and she loves us to death. Enjoy your new addition.
I have an Aussie and he was the easiest dog to potty train we ever had! She has an Aussie nose!

how adorable!!! we adopted after we lost our beloved dog..he was small..we adopted a tank! Otis is 65lbs now at close to 2 yrs and we got him a puppy aobut 6months ago..so now we have 2 60lb dogs.. its gladiator play time in living room and we look like a doggy day care with crates, toys etc. We love it! both dogs were rescues who were mislabled as to how big and what breed they were. Happy mistakes!

Oh Sharalee, Gracie is a-dorable!! I figured 😉… I’m still not ready, even though it’s been 2 years now. Wow, where does the time go!??! I’ve been thinking lately that it would be great to have a dog again, but we’re getting older and it’s getting harder. Plus with the new job now and travelling would be lovey… But mostly, loosing Mogli after 17 years was such a heart break that I don’t think I’m able to go through this again… Having said all this, NOTHING beats having a dog!!! You are so blessed to have a labradoodle of any kind. We had one for 12 years. Sadly she passed from complications of diabetes. They are the smartest, most lovable babies ever. Ours was also named Gracie. She looked like your but was much bigger. Around 70 pounds. She too rang a bell to go outside and for most anything else she wanted. She was the most precious baby. I miss her so much. Congratulations on your new baby! Shes gorgeous! ❤
So glad that the time came when you were ready to love again. We said after our last furbaby that we wouldn't go through that hurt again but we really never got over our grieving until we decided to love again. I have a mini Australian multigenerational labradoodle 2 years old named Fiona. I love love her so much. They are so smart and cuddly. At one years old she really matured meaning no more nipping. She’s 2 now but still jumps on people that’s my only issue. So happy for you all

Oh my goodness she is precious. My husband and I will celebrate our 47th anniversary on the 28th. Our stories are similar we could not have children either. I do have a godchild who is 40 that we are really close too but have also had 3 yorkies, our children. We had Kaiser who we had to put down he was 16, then Bella she was 11 and was very sick. And we had both decided that we couldn’t do this again just broke our hearts. Then came Chloe who will be 6 in September. She is the smallest one at 6lbs and that’s the most she will weigh. What a sweet baby! Many congrats! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 When we lost our cat who was almost 18(adopted at 4 months) I felt the same way- never again will I set myself up for that. Four years ago we adopted another kitty - pure white with blue eyes and a black heart shaped nose! She was 3 and is now 7 and I can’t imagine how someone abandoned her. All the best to you. No children here either and this is our baby! Enjoy!

She is sooo adorable!!! 🥰💘. I lost 2 of my 3 elderly cats in 6 mos time. Lost my 18 yr old girl last Nov and one of my 15 yr old boys, my pretty Siamese. Sill have one cat and 2 dogs. Sometimes I think I would like to get/rescue a kitten, but don't think my older one would like it too much. Again, she is soooo adorable and precious!

Oh Sharalee I am so happy for you ❤. We had to put our sweet dog down almost 2 years ago and it was just crazy difficult. Luckily, we still had our other dog and that truly helped us. We have thought about getting another puppy and eventually it will be the right time!

Little Gracie, so previous, tried not to cry watching, sent my girl to heaven May 17th, she was a mini long haired Doxie blonde too, know about the empty house, I just turned 69 so feel too old to get another, if I did it would have to be an older rescue❤ please do updates on the little one 🎉 congrats
She’s absolutely beautiful!!! I totally know what it’s like to not have children of your own. My furbabies are my kids, too! Unfortunately, my last little girl passed away this past March, which I was not expecting. Her sister went to Heaven 3 years ago this month. I didn’t think that I wanted to go through that pain again, but the house is too quiet for me. My husband had 2 children, that I love, along with their spouses, and we have 4 grandchildren. But, none of live near us. I need someone to baby! My husband wants a rescue, housebroken, young,small dog. I am worried about a pup with issues. The last two girls had some issues, but I tried to eliminate triggers from situations they weren’t comfortable in. So I am looking for someone special. God will steer me toward the right decision!
Oh Sheralee! She's so adorable!!! I had mine crate trained in 2 weeks. Now, mind you, mine was 1 year old, he was a rescue! We had our little buddy 13 years. I know how much it hurts. BUT, God opened your heart to love again.

Oh Sharalee I am sooo glad you got another puppy! It is the hardest thing to let them go, we have done it 3 times now. I know with all my heart they are all waiting in heaven for us to get there. My husband and I don't have human children either and our dogs have been our lives for the past 34 years. Dogs are Gods purest love in fur form. After all dog is just God spelled backwards ! ! ((Hugs)) and squeezes for Gracie. What a wonderful home she has come to ! ! Looking forward to tons more Gracie updates !

Congratulations, you will enjoy that cuttie pie for years to come. I know it's a hard decision to get another dog again after you lost one. I went through that same thing when we lost our Shiba Inu. It took me 2 years to get another puppy. Now, we have a Mini Schnauzer, he was 8 weeks old when we picked him up from this wonderful breeder here in Arizona. He's now 1.4 years old and he's such a joy to us. No regrets whatsoever. I am so happy for you!!!!

I just love Gracie🐾❤️ We lost our Maltese Gracie on December 1st with heart failure😢 Missed having a fur baby in the house so much that we got a maltipoo “Isabella” in February. She looks a lot like your Gracie except she is only 6 lbs and is pretty much full grown at 8 months. We miss our Gracie every day but our Izzy is such a sweet cuddle and total spunky pup. Doodles are very smart and fast learners. So happy for you🥰
