I don't know where to start. Thank you so much for this video. I totally agree with you on everything. My RUclips channel is based on bringing our inner beauty out thru skincare, makeup and style. I have love makeup most of my life. I have been at my church since I was 6 years old (I'm 62 now). It is a a conservative Baptist church. I have never had anyone judge me for always wearing makeup. Over the past few years we are still conservative in our beliefs but more relaxed on what people wear. I'm glad for that. God looks at the inside. I have learned so much from you and others. I think that will help me and my channel. I too wear makeup every day. I could go on but I won't. God bless you for all you do.

Great advice!!! I’m using extra virgin coconut oil myself on my 77 year old face. My face is super soft the next morning. I use little Make-up remover pads for making sure it’s clean

Sharalee, I've gone through the same thing, after losing my 17 yr old boy, Blitz. He passed away February 2021. He was very special, in so many ways. He alerted me during health crisis situations (I have Addison's Disease). As he got older and had heart issues, the roles reversed from him caring for me, to me caring for him. My heart is still broken from losing him. The bond we shared was so STRONG, in so many ways, I just have not been able to give my heart to another. I'm 57 yrs old and have always had a dog by my side, but losing Blitz, just took a lot out of me. I pray 🙏 daily for my heart to feel strong enough to adopt another furbaby. I know when I'm ready, Our Heavenly Father, will place a new Spirit in my path. I hope and pray 🙏 for the same for you, Sharalee. I know it's not as easy as some may think. Keep the Faith, Sweetie. i have thin short hair and short hair is still hard for me to get used to. i had surgery in 2020 and my hair even though it was thin before it is thinner and just doesnt grow evenly anymore so short is my new reality and i LOVE you hair tutorials. so thank you for all of your videos.
So admire your piano talent. Growing up in the 50's and 60's it seems that piano's were a common piece of furniture in homes. Sorry that has falling to the wayside. Grateful that our daughter has had her 11 yr old daughter in piano lesson now for a 3rd year. Hi, yes, I just found this and you did this 7 months ago. Major changes have happened in my life since you’ve answered these questions and I am sure that you as well as your other viewers have experienced changes too. My only brother who was also my only sibling passed in January. I am now the lone survivor in my immediate family and I find myself in unfamiliar territory. He was also my big brother and the one I always knew would be there.
I especially enjoyed this video and I your positive attitude is definitely an attribute to strive for. I have watched many of your makeup tutorials and thoroughly enjoyed them. The application and results are stunning. I have not been able to allow myself that much freedom with the products you use but I’m a work in progress too. This will definitely be a goal for me because I can not say that I am that pleased with the results after I keep using the same as I always have. (The very definition of insanity, lol)
I will certainly check out the Bare Minerals while at the counter to ensure I obtain the correct shade and the Tart eye palette shades. Purchase good quality sparingly as I can and eventually I will have what works best.
I have an excellent skincare product line that I’m using. It’s a little pricey but it works great for my very sensitive and over 70+ years.

Sharalee, could you recommend where I could find someone to match makeup, foundation color for me. I have never worn much makeup and can't afford to buy products I want use. I don't know where to start. Don't mind spending on good products if I know it will look good. I have sun damage and wrinkles so this is going to be a challenge. Thank you. Great video sweet girl. I have a suggestion for your next time with an "Ask Me" video. Maybe you could put a # with the number of the question on your screen as you are speaking. Then in the "Show More, list the hash tag & the number of the question with a one or two word description of the question, i.e #3 Exercise. That way we could push through the video by numbers to see a start-stop between questions. Then if a question was of particular interest we could easily find it again for future reference. Nice getting to know more about you. MY cat is 18 and since the day my husband brought her home I have not gone on a vacation. We are so close to each other. I did go away for 4 days when my Dad was dying but my husband stayed home and he said she just said on my blanket and didn't want to eat so I understand what you're saying about getting another dog.I dread the day I lose her.

Very thankful for all the wisdom you share!!! My question is…I’m 67 years old…what foundation do you recommend, that won’t fall into lines on my face??? I use a damp sponge for application, but sometimes my under eye wrinkles are accentuated 😮 by foundations I’ve used.
Depending on how much coverage you want/need, I do have a couple of foundation recommendations:
*BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer looks amazing on mature skin. My mom has used it for years and it looks so pretty on her. It is super light coverage though.
*The other one that looks beautiful, especially on dry skin but has really good coverage is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation.
Having said that, I don't recommend using your foundation under your eyes. Opt instead for a dab of concealer like the Clinique Even Better Concealer😘

( pixie) I was wondering how many inches you take from the top & crown ? Clipper in back maybe a 4 then blended up to crown ? Number of clippers to side burns ? And how far up do you go ? Is it rounded when clipped or straight ? Sorry for so many questions, but I am having such a hard time finding a stylist that’s knowledgeable in short hair. Last cut was a disaster needing to let it grow out for a shape even! Will be taking your advice or video to a new stylist to show my needs and what I want , I thank you for your time & sharing . I do need some advice about hair. I've tried the Enjoy wax but still can't get my hair to look spiky like yours. What is the length on the crown of yours, and does she thin yours out. In fact, this last salon visit, we discussed this exact thing. It does need to be short enough but the thinning/texturizing truly makes all the difference. Hope you had a wonderful time in Florida!!😍

Hmmm....based on the palettes that are still available, I think the Dominique Transition Multi-Use Eyeshadow Palette is one of the best! I featured it in my "Out the Door in 15 Minutes" video. Not only is the formula really great for the eyes but the pan sizes are larger, making it easier to use the shades for bronzer, blush, etc.😘
I have skin allergies and every eye make up I’ve tried make me makes me itch horribly especially eyelashes & eyebrows so I do not use anything on my brows or lashes.
Oh that would be awful! Have you ever tried the brand "100% Pure"? All of their makeup is colored with fruit pigments (their mascara has black tea, berries and cocoa in it😍). Anyway, might be worth a try!
