This was so much help. I followed along as you did your brows. I recently noticed on my droopy eye side that I also have a more droopy lid and upper lip. Honestly, as a former nurse, it looks like someone who has had a mild stroke. Your videos have been a tremendous asset. Thank you so very much for ALL these videos. Not one has gone unwatched since I found your channel. God bless!

Thank you for this video Sharalee. I have very sparse brows as I overplucked as a teen..of course..and they never really grew back. The tips you gave are great and now that I am l "rocking the grey" I have been using blonde and taupe which looks more natural on me. But the biggest help is brow gel which helps what brows I have look fuller. Thanks again for this tutorial. Great job as always!

Omg Sharalees. I have watched so many tutorials on brows. You are the best letting us know each step and tips on how to cut brows which I do. I tint my hair red with highlights but my brows are little darker brown.
I have hazel eyes and everyone loves my hair. Glasses kinda hide some of them. I went lighter with Benefits brow pencil and lighter tint because white hairs appear. Like you said go lighter I’m excited to shape my brows. Thank you so much. ❤️👏

My brows are very sparse...so, because I like a dark root I want my brows to coordinate with the root as it accentuate my eyes and natural silver streaks. I use a very fine percision Taupe to lightly outline my brows...then I'll add a percision Charcoal Grey lightly over the Taupe as I find it softens the color and blends perfectly. The new percision eyebrow pencils are fantastic. I use a clear brow gel once my penciling is done. I use the spooley brush beforehand to blend my brow hairs...then apply the clear gel. I no longer need to tweeze...except fir a few stragley hairs that come out beneath the brow line..like one...or two... that's it!

Great tips! You are a definite artist! Another wonderful product for ladies with sparse brows is a product by Ready To Wear. It is their brow product. It is a clay based product with fibers and it is amazing. It adds volume that looks natural and adheres to the brow because of the clay. It comes in a variety of colors. I top it off with a clear brow fixative and these babies easily last all day.

This was an excellent video Sharalee. I needed this!! Huge thank you, I use taupe and ash colors too. I sometimes make my brows warmer or cooler depending on my eyeshadow and make up look for that day, often I top with dry brow shadow or eyeshadow. I love the Milani pencil too. I'm going to try the elf brow gel. Many of my brows stick straight out!! I'm trying not to trim them too short because I've heard this is what can cause that. Loved the tips on trimming!! Today I also tried putting some of my lash serum on a spot of my brows that has not grown any hair to see if it will help it. it's been a while since I had my brows dyed, I would like to try to do that myself since I do my own hair. I just need to figure out what color. I'll check your description to see if you put it in there. Thanks again this was super helpful💓🤠💐

    • @SharaleesBoxOfChocolates
      @SharaleesBoxOfChocolates  3 года назад +1

I'm so glad this was helpful!! Sounds like you have come up with some great brow tricks too....love that you sometimes alter the tone of your brows to coordinate with your eyeshadow look! I think adding the lash serum in those sparse areas of the brows will definitely help and I know you can totally handle dying your own brows!! Several subscribers use the Just for Men dye for beards but I just use the Refectocil in shade 3 Light Brown. Just start off by only leaving it on a few minutes and seeing if you want to go darker...it's easier to go darker but much harder to lighten😂😘

What a beautiful job you did on your brows! They're gorgeous. I just want to mention that I used Rapid Brow for awhile and absolutely loved it. It worked beautifully and the new brow hairs came in dark. However, after using the product for 5-6 weeks, I had blood vessels break in my eyes several times which had never happened before. When one popped so loud I could hear it, I decided to stop using the product and I had no more problems with blood vessels popping. Now this could have been a coincidence, but I have very sensitive eyes and have had several eye operations, so I didn't want to take any chances. I've switched to using an all natural product (Vegamour). It doesn't work as well, but it has helped a little and I've had no problems with blood vessels breaking in my eyes. Just wanted to pass this along as an FYI in case there are others who might have very sensitive eyes also.

Oh wow, I'm so sorry to hear about your eyes!! That would be so scary!!😱 Goodness....never heard of that happening but thank you for sharing in case anyone else has that issue! I've also heard that Castor Oil is good for promoting brow growth....haven't tried it yet but that might be another one to try for those with eye sensitivities.

I've also experimented with waxing my face and more recently been testing out actually using one of my husband's razors to shave my face😳. The jury is still out on that whole process and I plan to update you all soon. But in the mean time, I'd recommend starting with the Flawless Touch tool. Sharalee, My question is I'm a dirty blonde with high lights and I match my eyebrows close to the root of my hair. I see you use more of a brownish red color?? should we match closer to the root of hour hair ??

Since my roots are a really dark brown, I prefer to go at least one shade lighter than my roots. I can see on camera, they look a little warmer here but typically, I aim for a cool, taupe/light brown color. Since you have lighter roots, you wouldn't want to go any lighter on your brows so it sounds like you've chosen the perfect shade for you!

My hair is a silver gray, almost white in the front. I was a dark brown before. Do you have a brow color suggestion for me? Thanks.

Hi Pat, I’d definitely check out Dior Univeral taupe, it seems to suit everyone and is quite a nice texture of pencil, hard but blends easily with the spoolie. Then finish with Benefit clear gel, they will not move all day 🤣

Yesterday, I went through my brow stash😘 and really feel like the NYX Micro Brow Pencil or Precision Brow Pencil in "Ash Brown" would be perfect for those with gray hair. Then top that with the e.l.f. Wow Brow Gel in "Taupe" and I think those two combined would look great! The key is keeping in the cool taupe/brown family. I've not tried the Dior Universal Taupe brow pencil but I do know the Benefit Clear Gel is a great one if you don't want a tinted gel.

@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Thanks, Sharalee, for your suggestions. I found IT Cosmetics Universal Taupe brow powder in my drawer that seems to blend well, even though my brows are still brown. I have no brow at the outer part and the taupe is softer than brown powder or pencil.

Good morning pretty lady! I have a question (for everyone actually). Has anyone tried a lash perm? My daughter had it done bc she has straight lashes. She has pretty eyes but never likes using the curler.

I have actually never tried a lash perm but I remember Lisa Eldridge (makeup artist) talking about having that done to her lashes several years ago. You'll have to let me know how it works for your daughter!

Well, that depends on how much time I have....😂 I don't like to be rushed so even if I'm not experimenting with new products, I like to allow 30-40 minutes so I can enjoy the process. However, if I have to, I can do a whole look (including eyeshadow) in 10 minutes. I'll link that video here if you want to see me "on the clock"😘

I am 66 years old, and have gray hair, therefore I have several White hairs in my eyebrows. Heat would you suggest?

To fill in, I think the NYX Micro Brow Pencil or Precision Brow Pencil in "Ash Brown" is a great cool toned brown that almost looks gray. Then use the elf Wow Brow Gel in Taupe and I think that combo would look really good with gray hair! You can also dye your brows to cover the white hairs and then that sometimes makes the fill-in process a little easier😘

hello my friend, thank you for this tutorial, my eyebrows and me it's all a story, I had very thick eyebrows but unfortunately younger I shaved too much and about 5 years ago, I did do the eyebrow tattoo but redo every 2 years but still have to used an eyebrow pencil, not my favorite part of makeup ha ha. have a good day

Oh I can relate....doing the brows is my least favorite part of the makeup routine but makes such a BIG difference! I've contemplated having my eyebrows tattoo'd/microbladed but have heard you do need to repeat the process sometimes every year and still fill in a little each day....there must be an easier way!😂😘
