The application of decals is the most fun and satisfying step
I always find it a bit stressful - you only get one shot, it's not like painting where if you make a mistake you can just cover it up :S
These tools have been used a LOT, so I have found that recent releases of these (in the blue box) have had a lot of flash on them but if cleaned up well they can make a great model if you have patience.
Looking forward to the next build.
Thanks! Yes, they are showing their age now! Lots of flash and not up to the standard of recent kits, but still fun to build :)
Looking neat!
Thanks!
Great job although small and fiddle.
Thanks! Yes, it was a bit....
Do you not thin your paints ?
hello skipper he do, but the brushstrokes are quite visable at that small scale
Not always - it was a bad habit that took me some time to break. But yes, I do thin my paints most of the time now, but it is a really tiny scale so brush strokes may be visible. An airbrush would probably give a better finish - but i'm yet to invest in one of those....
I can't find any more micro wings, van you help me out?
Looks as though they have been discontinued for now - might be some available somewhere but it would be a matter of going to various online shops to see what they have
Awesome¡¡¡
Thanks for watching :)
Concerning the technique, I had seen better results.
But...
Though it might sound ofensive, I really love that childish approach. Reminds me my childhood, when substantially bigger kits were built by evening, no puttying, no sanding, no decal setting sols...
This was one of my earlier builds so it's not up to the standards of more recent models. This was a pretty fun kit to build though!
@@ModelMinutes Fun. That's the keyword.
I witness many embittered modellers who's forgotten the kits used to be sold as toys.
@@dankramek5391 Yup! If you're not having fun you're doing it wrong :D
deckels...DECKELS !
clearly you havent watched my video on this very subject . . .
I gotta tell you a thing on messenger ASAP (Emil Bodin Törmä)
Thanks for sharing the link to that model site!
Model Minutes el no problemo!
Stop watching when parts were painted on sprue. This is toy making not modelling.
maydaypc toy or model, it doesn’t matter to me. I’m in this hobby to have fun ☺️
1/144 scale...that must be tiny
It's pretty small! But it goes quite well with N Gauge trains :)
I love 1/144 I'll be posting a 1/144 kit soon as well.
