My album The Dentonweaver has some serious lore put into it, but I don't feel I've taken the time to really explore the story and characters that I've developed for it publicly. It's super cool to use this music video to open the door to for this unique aspect of the album that I'm particularly proud of.

This is incredible! I’m obsessed with the lore of this album and although I’m still incredibly confused on what it all means, this has really helped me understand the story. Seeing all the moments from songs (ie. the volcano from Mt. Hekla, smashing the car in Trophy Street) makes me so excited for more music videos to come. And huge applause to Theo! The animation was beautiful, and I’ve never seen a music video done like this. Here’s to a great life for Raccoon Tour. ❤️

Raccoon Tour will always have a very specific place in my heart. It’s nice seeing it evolve into something that’s thematic and creative.
It's weird to say but seeing this pop up in my notifications nearly made me cry. For me this band has been in my life for 3 years and thank you to Nate and all the rest of you for being the band that made me fall in love with music (Yes I'm a sixteen year old who only got into music when she was 13, I'm lived a sad life lmao). The music of this band has honestly been one of those things that has circled my life for those 3 years. Meeting my the first real friend in five years, starting high school and waiting for the album to drop, falling in love for the first time, coming up with stories and writing, going through one hell of a brake up for the first time, coming to grips with being trans, doing an art project with the Mt. Hekla art, all of that (and so much more than I could ever remember) and this band and it's music has been by me through all of it.
I would change nothing, and I hope to one day see you in concert. Nate, I hope you never lose your passion for music, it is a constant inspiration to me, and I hope one day Raccoon Tour gets the love it deserves.

Though I only recently got into your music, it's quickly gotten a chokehold on my heart. This video perfectly fits the song, especially the style of animation used - it's intimate and charming, with the masks for the characters physically creating the melancholy and slight edge the lyrics bring. Perfectly encapsulates the long Midwest twilights of my childhood. Thank you both, Theo, Nate, for this wonderful experience, and so beautifully creating scenes such as these :)

This is beautiful, I could never. It’s so smooth, so creative and unique, I might’ve found this band recently, but I hope their music explodes everywhere. I am currently working on a storyboarded map to one of this band’s songs (Sorry Sarah) which is also my favorite of this band’s atm, and one of my favorite too. Woah... dunno if it's intentional, but it sounded like a Jordan Thornquest song for a sec during the intro. Killer music video, I'm married to anything this band does. You've done a lot to evolve me from being a shitty edgelord in 8th grade. I'm almost graduated now, and listening back to Sofarinrunning gives me chills. Raccoon Tour has been with me from 13 to 18, holy shit.

I remember listening to Sofarinrunning for the first time and thinking “This is gonna’ go somewhere.” And by god it did. I remember religiously following everything Nate posted desperate for SOMETHING more to come out. You wouldn’t believe the excitement that ran through me when Dentonweaver and Horrorshow dropped. I don’t think I listened to anything else for a few days, honestly. Then the full album dropped and holy shit man. I hadn’t cried while listening to an album since Trench dropped in 2018, but hearing the final version of Sofarinrunning just did something to me. The entire album (and the band) quickly became and still are to this day some of my favourites ever. This music video is so fuckin’ cool, and I’m excited for everything that follows. Thanks for all of this music Nate, and everyone else involved in their creation. These songs mean so much to me, and they wouldn’t exist without ya’.

got this song recommended in my spotify discover weekly and it's honestly one of the best things i've heard in a while. i was so shocked to discover it was by the same freaking guy who made the band how to video, which is literally what inspired me to work towards getting my own band together (which i did!!). the idea of rock+uke was one i've been stuck on for a while bc i love writing songs on ukulele but i thought it wasn't possible to get the sound i wanted with it. THIS FREAKING SHOOK ME TO MY CORE.
