An Aussie classic that you'd usually pick up from the fish and chip shop is the 'Burger with the lot'. A thin beef patty on a sesame bun with shredded iceberg lettuce, fresh tomato, white onion, fried egg, tinned pineapple rings, sliced tinned beetroot, crispy bacon, cheese and a fried egg. Top it all off with a combo of sauces, usually tomato sauce (ketchup) and BBQ sauce. Don't know how, but it just works.

2:15 a restaurant I used to work at had a Blueberry hangover burger that was AWESOME! Had a beef patty marinated in Blueberries, topped with cheesy Hashbrowns, brown sugar bacon, and a sunny side up egg. I also liked to put Jalapeño jelly on it. Worth the work to make it at home just to try it
This lady is making all the burgers wrong! I miss Kendall... We need a botched with Babish where he makes all of them correct and lets brad rank them.
I haven't watched Babish in a long time, but based on the comments and episodes I remember from when he re-created Bob's Burgers recipes, I haven't been missing much. He literally made some of these burgers in past episodes. How did they get these wrong?!
He isn't the one making them this time vs his people are making them
I love the B plot of babish going insane
Bruh imagine making an episode about the burgers then not making any of the burgers correctly...
I don't understand how can you make a bob's burgers tier list without the Meatsiah
"Botched burgers" would be a more accurate title.
Badly Babish-Botched Bob's Blueberry Burgers Be Bringing Blazing Banter Back Baby!
‘Pickled Beets’ or Beetroot as we call it in Australia is actually incredibly common on burgers here. So much so it is considered a standard or traditional ingredient on them.
12:55 the Baby you can chive my car burger is supposed to have feta
he had a whole vid abt that exact burger 7 years ago
Some of these burgers would be a lot better if the book recipe was followed :,)
The sad soft recorder of 'happy birthday' playing in the bg of all the cake parts was my fave part of this episode
I haven’t seen a babish video in years but this one caught my eye
Was the missing of ingredients that was very obvious on purpose??
It certainly driving a ton of engagement in the comments, isn't it?
As someone who absolutely loves this cookbook and the show I can’t help but say I feel like most of these burgers were not prepared correctly. Why are all of these patties so thick? They’re supposed to be 1/4lb patties… those are not. Why is so much of the cheese not melted? I feel like this was a disservice to this art form. Let me come out to NY and make these properly for you.
Nothing better to follow a health-related sponsorship than eating 20 burgers while making a cake.
What a poser
...oh the irony! Its like a greek tragedy.
I guess that healthonizer device manufacturer will not be very happy (also, methinks the burgers are not fully cooked...juss sayin').
The "olive have what she's having" burger is a nod to a Michigan regional burger called the olive burger which was believed to be invented in Flint, Michigan at the Kewpee Hotel Hamburgs in 1923. The original Kewpee burger was a simple beef patty topped with Swiss cheese, chopped green olives, and mayonnaise. I recommend revisiting it as intended, it will likely earn a better score and be what the show actually intended.
Ah Flint, whenever I’m feeling too positive, it’s always nice to go back to Flint.
@@johnb3948are they still waiting for clean water?
@@Samsquanch6969 it took several years and over $400 million but they've secured a clean water source, replaced pipes and given free water filters and test kits to anyone who wants them. There are still people with issues but a vast majority of the flint water problems have been dealt with.
As a Michigander that moved south. I miss Coney dogs and Oliver burgers.
George Motz is that you?
Dislike for the lady cooking these burgers so incorrectly. The recipe for bet it all on black clearly had no onion, had the mozz melted, and had spinach instead of lettuce. This is so wrong
I'm sad because most of these were missing the things you wanted, but in the book - they have them. Cheeses left off (and out of the burger - some of these are stuffed) and missing sauces. You've made some of these before. I don't think most of these got their fair share because they are not the right recipes. And even on the board in the show, it's 50 c to add cheese to the daily burger, so if they did not even have cheese, you could add them. Also - the beets weren't supposed to be pickled. There's also carrots and something else for that sandwich. This video gets 6/10. You're right, it could've been more.
This video is like if a critic reviewed Bob's food on an actual episode, but does all the recipes wrong and scores him poorly for it.
More irony
Babish: "mmm this is great, id eat this whole thing. A 6"
also Babish: "this is gross id only eat it if a had to... 6"
also also Babish: "Its too much im not a fan.... feels like a 9"
Yeah this bugged me too. One of them he says he didn't like it and gave it a 6 and then other times he enjoys it and still 6. I was rolling my eyes
he rates them based on how they actually taste, not by how he personally enjoys it (obviously its still shows a bias, but he tries)
Burgers way too thick! What sort of small burger shack makes half pound burgers cooked medium rare?!?!?$ ruins all the ratios! Awful video
Why didn't you follow the actual recipes? A lot of the things you point out as missing ARE in the recipes...
0:31 I'm worried about it.
Same
Anyone else having a hard time getting past all the burgers being raw?
The 'As above, so below' burger.
Candied bacon with dark brown sugar and Devil-dust (cayenne, habenero powder, seasoning salt, paprika, garlic powder, white pepper, onion powder)
A ghost pepper chilli aioli.
50/50 blend of herbed goat cheese and whipped cream cheese
Lightly drizzled with a spicy honey.
is it possible they are just using the descriptions from the board?
Havarti cheese, hot pepper jam, spring mix on a toasted brioche bun.
I don't think they are ever gonna run out of things to rank. "Join us next time where we rank MineCraft foods made exactly like how you make them in game."
And still somehow make them wrong
Pickled beetroot is a staple ingredient on an Australian burger (like Andrew said, fills the same niche as a dill pickle which the beetroot replaces), alongside a fried egg and tinned pineapple etc if you want "the lot".
Yeah when he was worried about it, I was like ?? Do Americans not have beetroot on burgers?
That sounds better than a pickle on a burger to be honest
Denmark as well. Pickled beetroot is a stable condiment on and to a lot of things here. We like to pickle things to the sweeter side though, not sure how different that is from Australia ^^
but thats not how the book does it the book has them satued
very glad i did not read the comments before finishing this video but cannot wait for the botched episode to drop
Bob missed an opportunity with "Olive Have What's She's Having" to make it "Olive What Cheese Having."
Nothing you just saw was made to spec. So whatevs 🤷♂️
@@KevinBushouse he's talking about the pun name, not the burger.
You guys really messed up on these burgers. You didnt make them the way they are in the cookbook. Missing ingredients. Wrong buns on some. Really need to do this video over again.
Really enjoyed this because I just spent two years obsessively working through every burger in the Bob's Burgers cookbook (except for one, because I have to wait for crayfish season!). A few of the recipes were different, which is disappointing, but it was interesting to see how many ended up in the 6 category because I generally felt the same way.
Cheese works!
Been watching for 4 years and this just gets better and better everytime
Blue Apron did a collab with Bob’s Burgers and made a “Quantum of Salsa” burger that my family and I think is pretty incredible. Corn salsa on a burger didn’t sound appealing to us, but now we get excited whenever we get the chance to make it. I’d recommend you give it a try.
Biggest miss is that "Girls Just Wanna Have Fennel" could've had gruyere cheese and still work as "Gruyeres Just Wanna Have Fennel"
I said the same thing lol
Pickled beetroot on a burger is the most common thing ever in Australia. Add a grilled pineapple ring and you are in flavour town.
My brother makes one of my favorite burgers. He blends ground beef and spicy Italian sausage. I believe its a 70-30 blend of beef to sausage. Seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Crispy pancetta, fontina cheese, arugula, sundried tomato "aioli", and balsamic glaze.
He puts it on a ciabata bun. Its fantastic. 😊
Sounds amazing 🤤
A premium burger chain here in Sweden serves a blueberry cheeseburger, cloudberry cheese burger and lingonberry cheeseburger. They do it amazingly😍 Probably the best burgers I have ever had🍔
Isnt there a runnig joke in Scandinavian countries that all your dishes come with a side of jam
22:35 Beetroot or beets on a burger is a classic down here in Australia. You'd think they'd be too much but it tastes great
I'm assuming it adds a little sweetness? Which sounds nice
Bet it all on black garlic is my favorite! Love this show ♠️♠️♣️♣️🖤🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔
I used to make a sunny up egg burger for a special at place I cooked at. Add a garlic sour cream and chives. It sold out every time.
8:10 it’s because he runs a restaurant, and he charges extra for cheese! Sometimes the burgers is just come with cheese though
I'm Australian, so forgive me, but steak not meat patty, cooked blue (It'll carry over to rare), slice of tinned beetroot, thin slice of pineapple that's been browned on the hotplate so the sugars caramelise, barbecue sauce on the top bun and garlic mayo on the bottom, a slice of tomato and Jarlsberg cheese on the steak so it melts, on a giant, sesame seed burger bun toasted in the fats off the hotplate that the steak was cooked on.
I love how excited Rachel is about these puns!❤
Yes, ending the year right with some classic BabishxBobs Burgers.
I love my Bob's Burgers Burger Book. My sister bought it for me a few years back, and I ended up loving several of the recipes.
Some real knockout recipes in there, worth a purchase if you come across it.
"You don't want this thing dripping in sour cream." Agree to disagree.
Wow, was not expecting the Sister Hazel throwback. Nice! 🤩
More side cooking exploration in these ranking videos. It's very fun and funny.
So back in my hometown, there's a creamery/restaurant that has goat cheese and fig on a burger, but the protein is lamb, which I think works miles better than beef.
So, do a redux of this episode, but elevate them all 9’s and 10’s. Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAD!
They should redo this episode and actually follow the recipes in the book.
There's no cheese in most of it because cheese is an add on for 50 cent. It's a marketing move on Bob's part 😂
20:50 My cilantro soap taste went away in my 40s and now I cant get enough of it.
Really really dislike the advertisement for clearly fake pseudoscience tech bro garbage, that could actually effect someone's health and you didn't even tack on "consult your doctor if this is right for you" which could leave you legally liable
I would love to see you make the Itis from the Boondocks! 😊
Apparently a lot of people have the Bob's Burgers cookbook.
I would like a follow up video where the team tries to elevated the 8 & 9 burgers up to 10s
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAD!🎉
Even though they arent all hits, you cant deny Bob's creativity.
Bob´s Burgers introduced me to black garlic, and I haven´t looked back since. Still finding new uses for it!
Watch out, now babish is gonna be a character in the Bob’s Burger universe…
I love the chef in this video, she is so charismatic and funny!
As a burger fan from Wisconsin, I'm not really sure there is such a thing as too much cheese on a burger. Have you heard of the curderburger from Culver's?
The what now? I love Culver's, never heard of that one 👀 Or is it when you order the burger and curds separately, then add together, like I do with fries..? Genius idea!
@@CleoVonGemif I remember right, it started as an April Fool's joke on their social media that they were going to debut a burger with a giant cheese curd on it, but the response from fans made them actually make it IRL! It's like a hockey puck of cheese on top of a burger, and it's magical!
@@spongebobbette23Does it squeak?
@@CleoVonGem the first time it came out, I heard it sold out in hours. An actual limited thing, unlike mcrib, which makes an appearance every year. They had it again within the last several months and I missed my chance again. Waiting for my chance to have it 😭.
I will definitely be making it at least a double burger. F*ck my arteries. They're probably liquid cheese already🤣
Where’s Kendall
I believe she moved to Australia? Probably the first video out after she left :(
Kendall moved. Other than not following the recipes (which idk who shops for babish) I thought Rachel did a respectable job on camera and on the episode.
Fun video. Great job Rachel! Happy birthday Brad!
Funny, my name's Brad and this came out on my birthday, so the episode kinda resonates with me a little.
Haha you're awesome. Bob's Burgers is one of my favorite shows. Thank you for being you and giving this food lady some great inspiration and entertainment.
My favorite burger topping is a combination of blueberry preserves, Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ, and finely diced fresh habaneros. It's magical :D
My wife said I would have a tummy ache after that as well
Never watched Bob's Burgers but these names are fun!
Happy Birthday Brad! You guys did an amazing job on this episode! The glee on Rachel's face when she served up every burger had me grinning. xD
"baby you can chive my car" burger is my favorite burger in the book
Make that blue cheese burger a chicken sandwich, and it’s great. Loved this video as always.
I literally watch Bob's Burgers EVERYDAY
It’s the final krautdown. As you said, if only it had thousand island dressing on it. Why have I never thought of this? I love Reuben sandwiches. This sounds like a must make burger!
