I have an SQ5 and it's fantastic vehicle. It's crazy versatile. Last summer, I did a three week camping /hotel road trip down the West Coast on highway 101 and CA-1 from the Canada to Mexico. The SQ5 was a blast especially on CA-1 in Northern CA. It's small so it handles great in sport mode with lowered suspension. With raised suspension, I drove onto beach of the Columbia River mouth. The driver assist is great on the highway. Put the suspension in comfort mode and it's a nice ride. Being that it's not much bigger than a hatchback, it feels small making it easy to drive in the city or up logging roads which I did in the Bighorn Mountains (offroad raised suspension). You'll get between 25-30 mpg on the highway depending on how you drive and the terrain. It's a solid car.
I‘m from Germany and we have it here as a diesel - I love this car! On the Autobahn it’s super quiet even when driving 120mph on longer journeys.. A excellent daily

It’s more than just an upgraded VW. VW owns the best car companies. They own Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley, skoda. I’ve had a ton of cars in my 35 years of driving. Audis were my favorite with RS3 and SQ5. My most expensive to fix was my Lexus GS430. I had to put in 10k at 100k miles. Lexus is outrageous on parts. Lexus suspension is Toyota that failed after 6 years. Those control arms with pressed in ball joints for Lexus are extremely expensive. Audi suspension is built super tough. My next vehicle will be Porsche. Best cars ever made.

I have a b9 SQ5 prestige. I tuned it on e85 so it’s running 540hp and 601lb ft tq. I raced an Aston Martin vantage gts and smoked him just 2 days ago. It 0-60 in 3.5 sec. 1/4 mi in 11s. Video on my page. Great suv and I did not want to buy it. Only got it cuz I needed space for 2 car seats and it looks and sounds so much better than the x3 m40.

My SQ5 is the same gorgeous color (although i did not pick it, it was the only one left as a 2023 with a tow hitch a year ago). I had to get the Prestige but I got $9k off the $76k MSRP. I have real sport tips, sport differential, air suspension, black optic package (though I think it is not as good on this color) and comes with dual pane front glass and more - although there is $3k of stuff I had no desire for. I had made the first and only impulse buy of my a life a year earlier and hated the NX350 from the get go. I was happy to dump it and get the Audi. Best combination of sport and luxury in terms of performance and ride. Puts a smile on my face when I get in and go.

I take the "middle class" option normally and here that's commonly an Opel Corsa station wagon or a Kia Stinger station wagon, both have around 100 HP, but I still find it fun to drive up to 200 km/h in the Opel and about 180-190 km/h in the Kia. Going faster would of course be fun though, so if I bought my own car, I wouldn't go for anything under 150 HP. By driving the max speed of those basic vehicles, I'm almost always the fastest car, on the AUTOBAHN. 😂

It’s actually super comfy. You have mag ride. Comfort to sport settings. Sport is still super comfy. An F150 platinum is a lot more brutal on your back. A Toyota pick up is a ton more harsher. A 4Runner is brutal on the back. A Lexus GX is also harsh. Audi has a great suspension. You can also downgrade wheels too with bigger tires. Then you don’t feel anything.
SQ 5's are fast!!! I have a q5 sportback and it's amazing. SQ 5's are not gas efficient due to the engine but it's purty, whats ever better is the sq'8.
O love this car! Q5 and Macan are pretty similar and I would rank them as: 3rd Q5, 2nd Macan, 1st: SQ5! And I one Q5’s since 2009! Actually that would be a pretty nice garage! 😂

I believe you can get a sports exhaust system which will give you real exhaust tips. Although I’m not sure if the US gets that option.

Those are the 17 and older with supercharger. The 18 and newer have a turbo. Can actually make more power now. You just lose the supercharger sound.

The turbo v6 has camshaft problems. They wear out prematurely at around 75-100k miles. The older one with the supercharger v6 was more reliable
