Awesome book that gives you step-by-step photos ruclips.net/user/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt and directions to make every day project. I can see myself making a few of these projects and giving them as housewarming and holiday gifts!
Jason, this is 100% the most beautiful thing you've made on this channel, and you've made some COOL stuff. I will be enjoying a nice glass of bourbon for a job well done on your behalf. Keep on being awesome!
Jason, during my 7 month (nearly nightly) search on youtube for ideas and plans for a diy boat, I found your boat build series. Your videos have been by far the best I have found (I've watched hundreds). I am a former commercial fisherman and have a vision to build a boat to float the Missouri river to the Gulf of mexico to raise awareness and benefit a cause. This boat is it. Well of course, I am envisioning additions and modifications, but in general this is it. Thank you very much. Great work!
You can grain match 4 corners... Start with a board about 2.5-3x as thick as you want your end product... Resaw and cut your miters so that the 2 faces of the original/full-thickness board are your outside faces.
Wow that turned out super sharp. I’ve been pretty much binging on your channel for the last week or so and this is the coolest thing I’ve seen yet, not that your other projects aren’t! I love the retro styling and the accents that tie it all together. Very nice!
I use acrylic mirror for bar back panels because I frequently have to cover odd shapes and the acrylic is a lot more workable than glass mirror (sharp inside corners, etc.) but the trick to longevity and avoiding scratches is to use a ceramic coating, I treat mine with Armor Shield X but just about any of the automotive ceramic coatings will work.
❤❤ I know you’ll probably never see this since this video is a year old or more, but this cabinet was so cool watching you build it. I just recently started watching wood turning and woodworking. I’m usually watching the paint pouring channels because that’s what I’m into. But this came out really nice. Everything that I watched you do has come out so well I especially love you doing the at the camper something I forget what it was but that was cool. I watched that one I’ve been watching just going through finding your videos and watching them so I’m enjoying them and keep making them. Thank you.❤❤
This is super cool. Awesome job, as always, Jason! 🔥 One thing I would've done differently is I would've put lights to the back in front of the mirrors and left the doors without the backplate so the lights would've made the "stars" pop. Plus a controller to change the light colour when the doors open or something could be a nice touch. Well, technically, I can't say that I would've done it any differently, because I can't build stuff like this to save my life, but you know what I mean... 😅
Wonderful outcome Jason! Great work and creativity! One, tiny detail. If you have not done so, on the doors, put a little button of felt over the magnets to keep them from snapping on each other. Doors will shut quieter and still be plenty strong.
Jason that was alot of work but fun. It turned out extremely awesome! This must of been an exhausting video journey for you, BUT it showed the extent of your finer woodworking expertise. Wonderful job sir!! Thanks for the ride. 👍
WOW think it is my favorite project as well. Loves the splines, Love the texture. Loves the color Just loves it! Please note, that if the magnets contacts on closing, the chrome will brake. and they will look really bad. so just for dampening, put a piece of clear tape over each magnet, that can be enough to solve it. if you ever need to change the magnets, they are easy to brake, just hit them with you centerpunch. Sorry if my spelling is bad. I am not native English. 🙂
thx .. i just realize that what I like the most in Ur vids is the satisfying slow and calm voice... not like the other who have to speak loud un clear while they record their voice live... 🥃🥃🥃
For a wall mount, the unit, as built is great. If you want to put this on a table, I would add a 1/2" high base so the doors won't drag on an uneven table surface. I like your spline jig.
This has been, by far, the most entertaining maker video I've watched. GREAT craftsmanship, and the addition of f**king Craig for the finish work was hilarious. Thanks for sharing! SUBSCRIBED
This is one of the few really great channels that didn’t get caught up in the tool review trend. I come for the project ideas and the wisdom of a craftsman who knows how to make great stuff. I already know some of my tools suck and that upgrading is inevitable. But drooling over SawStop and Festool doesn’t make me a better woodworker. Thanks, Jason, for staying the course! You rock!
When cutting stuff without glasses on you have to engage the safety squints.
Better to just keep the safety squints. Adopt it as a look. Clint Eastwood made a career of it grrr
That was Awesome 👍
Ahahaha!🤣
Last time I did that I ended up in the er with pressure treated wood in both eyes. Next time, I’ll squint harder
Break out the Bosch and Lomb safety contacts

You can do all 4 corners by resawing and using book matching to achieve the four corner wrap.
The quality of these builds are just some of the best craftsmanship you will see. Awesome work.
Love the way you continuously make complicated things doable! Those doors are awesome.

Hard to believe a week has flown by since I watched the door build.
Solid cabinet my man. Glad to see you doing more of these projects again
This was absolutely by a zillion miles the best Ad break anyone has ever done. Squarespace hit the lottery and should use this as a commercial.
Just amazing! Your creativity is wonderful. Those mirrors were a fantastic finish. Thanks for all the lessons and joy in this video.
Great looking build! The full Weller set adds a nice pop of colors as well!

AWESOME cabinet! A really beautiful cabinet with some really cool precision work. Thank you!
Stunningly beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
That is a beautiful piece of work. The splines absolutely make it.
Beautiful!!!
Amazing craftsmanship on the whiskey cabinet!!!
Love the videos, keep ‘em coming 👍
Co-founder of The Prideful Goat here! Thank you for featuring my brand!
Beautiful
Great build, thanks for the SawStop/acrylic break trip info!
Brilliant and inspiring
Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Just, wow.
I am mucho impressed by your full collection of Weller. As beautiful as the cabinet they're in!
Excellent cabinet.

amazing work.
Nice work! This gives me old school vibes. Like the furniture that has the TV, Record player, and radio.
I like the brass rods. The mirrors added a great touch.
That turned out awesome!!!
Clearly shows your favourite bourbon. The untouched Weller range just looks good inside this amazing cabinet 😉
Love it. Simply great work 👍
brass rods through the outside of the white oak cabinet filled with a walnut plug also woudl have been a nice touch!

This is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful design and build! 🧡🥃
Looks great Jason.
Amazing 🙌🏻
One of the coolest projects to date. Good stuff man! Cheers!
WOW. That truly is a beautiful cabinet. Really enjoyed watching this. Nice one Jason..
The wood whisperer recently did a video on getting 4 grain matched corners. Great video and I'm glad to see the whole thing come together!
ruclips.net/video/SUd3I6Kx1Z0/видео.html
I was just about to say this as well
I was thinking that too. Only problem in this case is he'd almost need to source some 10/4 white oak to be able to get the size pieces for this.
i was going to say google chasing grain
What an awesome cabinet. I think I need one or two!!!
Pretty Proud Of You (PPOY) and your skills!
This is super cool. Awesome job, as always, Jason! 🔥

This may be the best thing I've ever seen, absolutely beautiful work 👍
Gorgeous! Ya pulled out all the stops. Enjoy your cabinet
Nice Weller collection!!
Nice array of Weller. 12 is my fav!
Seriously beautiful, gonna have to make one
Very well done!
Very nice!
Fantastic job and such a beautiful cabinet. Precision work at its finest. Everything you do is perfect and second to none Jason.
Thanks Jason but, I'm in the UK and unsure how to contact you on telegram
Fantabulous whiskey cabinet 😊
Wonderful idea man..
Slight flex with the Weller bourbon. Cabinet itself almost does it justice and that is a beautiful cabinet. Grown man crying beautiful… great stuff.
I love the spines I did that once but with vibrant blue
Gorgeous
Love that super duper spline jig too!
Wonderful job. You are a really artistic guy. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

That looks amazing.
Probably my favorite project you’ve done. The orange in the doors and the splines is 🔥🔥🔥
Exquisite!

Nice choices with Highland Park and Laphroiag in the cabinet. You like your whisky with a smack of peat. Two of my favourites.
Love the WELLER on the top shelf. Best Bourbons around IMO.
It makes me happy to see Larceny Barrel Proof and Laphroiag Quarter Cask in your cabinet.
a good tip for peeling acrylic, grab a tube or pipe and roll the mask on to the tube. it goes much easier
Nice Weller!
Great video Jason, only channel I have ever subscribed to. Thank you!
WOW think it is my favorite project as well.
Loves the splines, Love the texture. Loves the color
Just loves it!

I watched this while sipping Bruchladaich Port Charlotte. It paired nicely.

Great idea 💡 👍 positive 👍
Good luck to whomever wins the contest. I so hope you choose to build a big epoxy river table with a custom base made from pallet wood.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
ahHahahaha
Looks sweet dude. Dig how the texture came out on those doors.
Very nice
Sad, depressed, lemon zest!!! Haha! Love it! Amazing build, as always!
Very cool love how the doors came out
So nice to see something different than a simple cabinet
Wow! That cabinet turned out absolutely beautiful. You could hang it in a very high end home and it would fit right in perfectly.
Wow, you're such a good talent at woodworking Thumbs up! You're a champ!

That is beautiful Jason!!!
Great selection of bourbon stock as well 😋
Likes nice! Reminds me of those old school dart board cabinets from the outside.
Nice work, love all the detail!
Whiskey snob, single malt Scotch.
Absolutely love Balvennie.
Awesome work as always, this one is really top notch

Beautiful build Jason! 😃
wow man. Love this. I would've use bright red acrylic for the back of the doors
Nice Weller collection you got there! Nice cabinet too
very jealous of that weller collection
Just made myself a nice old fashioned and am so ready for this video!
