I love Skoda Scala ❤👨🏻⚕️👍🏻 I am a Veterinary doctor and I have a same color Premium Skoda Scala, it is a very good video and Skoda Scala is a very good Car, thank you 😊👍🏻
The consumption is around 6.0 litres with the 1,5 litre 150 ps DSG now in Winter in Switzerland and with winter tyres (16 inch wheels). So I expect to decrease to 5.5 litres in Summer, maybe less in I’m lucky.
Hi Dan! Nice review, nice car, also you have very good camera :) Yes, this car looks like very good option, you also repeat continualy how good this car is. However… there is a problem, not only with this review, but with all similar new car reviews. All new cars nowadays is pretty much flawless, all of them are comfortable, looks good, and feels pleasure to drive. That`s why almost all new car reviews looks similar. But how about popular „myth” that all new cars are designed for 5 years or about 100,000 km? What this particular Skoda Scala will look like after, let`s say 200K km? Will it even exist by then? Why I am asking that? My car is 1998.year Opel Astra, odometer shows about 320K. How about 1 liter TSI engine, is it possible for it to get any close to this?
Great question 👍👍🙂 I think if you take care of the car you will get for sure over 300.000km I think the story with 5 years is just a story....they make much better engines like 20 years ago and much more friendly with you pocket. Indeed they have much more electronical and mechanical parts that can brake....but if you drive properly and you change oil and everything on time you should be fine 👍👍
I have a scala 1.0 dsg 110 2022, with a +15mm suspension, Its not as smooth ,comfortable, quiet as you describe it, dsg is also jerky very often, I think the quality of the scala has gone bad over the covid period to save money in the crisis, or maybe some countries get poor build quality scala. It is definitely different now, still ok but not as good as in the beginning.
Hi Dan, do u know the correct term for the rear led indicators? Are they called swooping LEDs or something like that where they move as the indicator is one? They look super cool most new cars have them just looking for the correct term, thanks!
You don’t have the traffic sign recognition ? In the price list, it seems to be available in the style pack. My car Scala is from July 2020. I’ve never found traffic sign recognition, but it’s a 2020 model, so I’m not sure I have this functionality. But on 2021 model, you should have it. Electrical handbrake is not available on this car according to my knowledge. The Audi A1 that use the same plateform (MQB-A0) also doesn’t have the electric handbrake and it’s a premium car. 😂 I agree with you, it’s something that is missing on this car for the auto hold.
my old dsg roomster has autohillhold u just need put break the pedal "hard" in and it will use that function. no need to use handbrake. So probably it has it too otherwise its a shame they removed it from the newer cars..
@@Zen0sa I think you speak about « hill assist ». Scala also has it like every cars these days. It brakes only on the hill. Auto hold means that you don’t need to keep your feet on the brake pedal when the road in flat or in downhill. It’s really practical when you’re stopped at a red trafic light for 3 minutes. Well, of course, on the Scala you can switch to « P » position on DSG gearbox. But on a Golf, A3 or Leon, it’s automatic. You can stay on « D » position.
I am from Czech Republic and it looks for me very strange when I saw in the video the skodas with big letter of "CH" on the rear trunk. I remember in the past years when we looked someone with CH in the Czech Republic, they had mostly very expensive cars, I used to work in Switzerland in the middle of 90's and I arrived there with brand new Skoda Felicia, my Swiss colleagues starred at this car and asked me a lot of questions, since then a lot of things changed and also we in Czech Republic can buy and afford the same cars nowadays as people in the Switzerland. By the way a similar model in the test would cost in the Czech Republic around 20.000 CHF.

1.5 👍
