Years ago I used a large white poster board to make a vision board. I marked off columns for each of my bills that I was working on paying off and projects I wanted to do on my property. Each month I used a yellow highlighter marker and marked off each month’s payment. It was thrilling to see progress. Now at age 71, I write down my desires and projects for each year in a journal that I keep in my prayer box.
I was thrilled to hear about the Vision Board since visualization is the most important technique, as per spiritual teachers, to manifest anything, and there are many meditations helping to do that. Recently retired (soon will start part time substitute teaching), rather unmoored, and I greatly appreciate specific ideas that you provide. Far Upstate NY near Canada....deeply ashamed and afraid of upcoming Trumpism takeover, so creating a non-fear based image sounds superb!
What a great idea to create the board at New Year, that will be my new tradition. I do already reflect and write a lot at this time, so doing something physical with pictures just make it more fun. By the way Margaret I think your casual hairdo looks great. Happy New Year❤
This sounds great, I’m already thinking this is a creative way to recycle my old calendars and magazines. I’ll use the thick calendar cover for my board and it’s ready to hang for viewing. I think it will be fun cutting out pictures and images for this project.
Years ago when the kids were in high school I made a simple vision board to get out of credit card debt and go back to school to get my degree, it worked! I hung it up in my home office where I could shut the door and think about it in peace…so looking forward to a new visions in 2025❣️

I have been doing vision boards for many years and it does work! This New Years Eve I am staying home, cooking me a nice dinner, drink champagne and grab a stack of magazines to create my 2025 board. Happy New Year to all. ❤🍷. Count me in!
hi Sylvia. I find Zoom totally unmanageable for more than five people. It’s great for a small group and maybe we should do that in the future but I expect there will be over 100 people which is not a very manageable number on Zoom.
