The only reason I think this isn’t supposed to work for end game is because you can’t see the other player. You need to communicate with them in the same spot in order to get something to spawn
Me and my girlfriend actually discovered this feature on our own and it was hilarious LMAO! We were able to help each other get our opposite version exclusives without even trading XD

This will never be patched this is an intended feature the only reason why you can't see the other players is because Poke portal is disabled in Area Zero
Why would they patch it? It is in desctiption on the co op how this works. All pokemon will spawn for both games as long as they are connected for co op. Seriousley, reading the descriptons game offers sometimes helps.

Point 2 is actually normal, been in a union room with a Scarlet player and they did have to be around for a Stonjourner to spawn. Point 1... that's likely just because GF didn't test in Area Zero enough or just didn't get enough time to iron that out before release.
This is one of the coolest exploits I've seen in Pokemon. Praying that it doesn't get patched. As a Violet player, I wanna be able to nickname my own Scarlet mons whenever I want.

I did it by trading instead, got them all since im on Violet. Any Scarlet players want future paradox pokemon i'll be more than happy to trade one of them to you if you have any ancient paradox pokemon to trade at whatever level its on.
Probably too late to ask this question but to say for example if I had Violet and my friend had Scarlet and they wanted to shiny hunt Iron Valiant I assume I would have to eat the sandwich and hunt it for him to get it to spawn then they just have to show up to get it while I have it spawned?

Wait wait wait. Hold up. Can we only encounter paradox pokemon at the endgame cave? I have not finished any of the story paths, but I was able to encounter a romaing Iron Treads in Pokemon Violet in the area after I defeated his Titan form. I was able to catch it and am using it now.

Why would this be patched this is how multiplayer is supposed to work. The only weird thing about this is that you can't see the other player. you can do this will all the version exclusives in the normal area. if anything they will patch it so you can see the other player.
@@computerflight2145 The way this seems to function seems very unintentional, not in just a "Set Model invisible" sort of way because otherwise they wouldn't need to specifically code for the monster to only target the player who spawned it, unlike the rest of the game. (I mean, they could set it to only target a visible player, but that seems like a non-traditional way to code that idea, especially because you already have distance detection targeting in the game)
@@thepokekid01 I don't know how you've concluded they purposely coded the pokemon to only target one player. I think what happened here was, they didn't really test multiplayer in this disconnected area too much and it just does weird things.

Yes, both players can spawn in pokemon from their games on the rest of the map. The difference everywhere else is that you can still see each other, and the other game's pokemon will still chase or interact with you. So if you are a violet player walking around in a friend's scarlet game you can spawn, for example, gulpin in their game. If your friend is walking in the same area, they will spawn stunky. And you can both catch any pokemon you can see.

Nope doesn't work like that you would still have to trade them.

that's a one time special encounter that you can also have w the other titan pokemon. other than that donphan, paradox's only appear in the crater
