Hello and welcome back to another episode of Feldpost Sunday! Feel free to like, comment and don't forget to hit that subscribe button if you are not subscribed already! 😊
Unfortunately there appears to be a problems on RUclips at the moment, and that explains the trouble regarding the Feldpost Sunday episode premiere today! I'm so sorry to everyone that tuned in to watch and had problems viewing the video! Hopefully you will be able too see the video when RUclips fixes whatever issues they have at the moment... Thank you all so much for watching/attempting to watch! I wish you all a good day/evening/morning/night! Best regards from Norway! 😊😊
The word on the back of the second postcard is called "Miorrj". Probably the name of a small settlement somewhere in the western parts of the Soviet Union. The writing on the third postcard reads as follows: "Proviantmeister u. Koch zwischen den guten Sachen." - "Provision Master and cook between all the good things."
Hi another great video I really enjoyed watching them you always have good information on the subject as a ww2 German collector it’s nice sometimes to find out new information about items I have in my own collection also loving your bunker build as well can’t wait to see finished Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Thank you so much for all the kind words and feedback - I really appreciate you taking the time to comment on the video! 😊 I'm glad you enjoy the videos, and that some of the information has been useful to you as a collector as well - do you have any specific genre or focus in your collection, or is it like myself - everything? 😆 I hope we can get the bunker finished so that we can finally use it! 😊 Best regards from Norway! 😊
I always love your videos! 👍 With my very limited knowledge of “Sütterlinschrift”, the old-German writing at the back of your last photograph says something like “P[???]ctmeister ù. (und) Raf’ zwischen den guten Sachen”, which means “[the 2 first names of the soldiers] between the good things” 😊
Thank you for your field post very good, I would love to see an Indepth look at your photos, as the cook for my german unit and a true chef I love cooking, would like to see you cooking in the field, I can't wait to see your restored field kitchen thank you from England,
@@Blitz1944 I believe there are some issues with RUclips today - I think everyone were struggling to watch the live stream 😔 So sorry that it did not work 😔 Hopefully they will sort it out soon. Thanks for coming to the premiere anyways - really appreciate it! 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 No, I have not had any significant trouble with YT yet - but I just figured it would be wise to stay one step ahead I guess. It's also nice to give the audience a heads up on what to expect in my videos... this modern day and age you know. Best regards from Norway! 😊
I got an original 1938 dated HJ book a few weeks ago, and on the back of it, there was a computer printed note with a handwritten note on the back, and at first I couldn't read it but I took a photo of it, put it on my laptop and I could read it better, but it still wasn't 100% so I used a art program that I use to make my artwork and, that tactic worked. I was able to find out what the back of it said, there's still some unknown stuff I'm trying to figure out. I'm putting a photo of it on my community post. Maybe you can do something like that and see what the back of that photo says. Hope that helps and great video sir.
That's pretty awesome - thanks for the tip! 😊 Also sounds like you have an small historical mystery on your hands - I love how one can research these items in depth, especially when one find extra clues to explore as well. Fortunately, a couple gentlemen down in the comment section were able to decipher the text for me - which I'm very happy about!! Best regards from Norway! 😊
@@ww2historyandreenacting It has been a very interesting investigation. Its been a few weeks and I'm still not done. Close to it though. Its a really cool book. I found a handwritten letter with the eagle on the front of the book. I found 3 bus tickets in the book. I've got a good amount of that research done, its just the note in the back of the book is giving me a bit of a hard time. But I'm sure I'll get it. Its pretty weird how its from 1938 and its in great condition but my original 1942 dated original DRK first aid book isn't in the best shape. That's good that you guys were able to figure it out. Thanks sir, best regards from the US as well.

It’s good to see that not all ww2 German reenacting has not left RUclips as sadly too many of the original ones have gone 😔
Yes, that is very sad indeed! I can at least promise more WW2 re-enacting videos in the future on this channel at least! 😊

JAAAAA! ny video!! 😁😁😁
Takk! Så gøy å høre! 😊

I've been wanting to ask for a long time. What is the white trim around your collar?
It's called "Rank Tresse", it's a band sewn onto the collar and shoulder bords to denote primarily NCO ranks 😊
Love all your videos. I see you've added a disclaimer. Have you been getting FLAK from RUclips?
