I would love to see the People Mover return, though I know OSHA would never approve it without a complete rebuild of the tracks with safety upgrades. It seems like they should be able to rebuild it in sections so they wouldn’t have to shut down Tomorrowland in its entirety for the project. I would also like to see the superspeed tunnel come back in some form should the People Mover ever return.
I think many people are with you on wanting it to return. Myself one of them! There are ways around all construction problems and I am sure that reopening the PeopleMover is well within the realms of possibility! However it’s the desire to do it the sticking point I fear, especially now that all attractions are based on a character or IP. Would it bring enough return on investment and positive gate numbers/merchandise spend? I’d love to see it return in its original premise - a futuristic transport prototype!
It sucks that the Magic eye theater or Tomorrowland theater clothes since 2015. Or maybe since 2018. Anyway I think they should bring back the theater experience, and of course focus on 3D. Along with lighting effects inside the theater. And obviously they have enough special effects that they've added since the late 1990s when Honey I shrunk the audience came out, because not only they have lighting effects. But they also have motion effects where the seats can move kind of like a motion simulator. I know they still have all of those effects inside the theater, so the best thing that they should do is bring back their previous 3D shows three times a year for the Tomorrowland theater at Disneyland. One of them that should come back captain eo, because I really want to go to Disneyland again and watch Captain eo. They should also bring back the very first 3D experimental movie Magic Journeys, I definitely want to see that in 3D at Disneyland. And I think they should bring back Honey I shrunk the audience as well. An a even found out that at Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in florida, it will get a new 3D show called Zootopia together zoogether. I forgot the title but it sounds something like that, anyway I can hardly wait for that show to come to Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida. And it should be a new 3D show for Tomorrowland as well, I have a feeling it's going to be a action 3D animated short. Combined with lighting effects, and I do believe music as well. With the song try everything by gazelle, the zootopia character voiced by Shakira. I'm hoping the show will be like a nightclub at the same time. Anyway that new zootopia 3D show should also be a new edition for the Tomorrowland theater at Disneyland as well. As a matter of fact here is a timing schedule they should add for their calendar to bring back the three 3D shows into the Tomorrowland theater at Disneyland. Honey I shrunk the audience from February to April. Captain EO from May to August. Magic Journeys from September to October. The news Zootopia 3D show from November to January. And they should also rename the theater as the Tomorrowland expo theater, that name has to make sense. Because it's like when you go into Tomorrowland, the theater has to be treated like an expo public panel or showcase to the audience and theater. The main entrance to the theater needs to have a storyline and a welcoming presentation like you're being introduced into a expo showcase, but instead of a typical expo showcase. It will be a 3D show. That's what they should put together for the entire attraction, as they reprogram the attraction for times a year. With four different 3D shows. And of course the attraction of the theater needs to be called the Tomorrowland expo theater. After all giving the attraction itself a new name is necessary, because originally it was called The Magic Eye theater then later on they changed it as the Tomorrowland theater. Which is kind of okay, but not that exciting. So someday and in the end they should call it the Tomorrowland expo theater. Because I definitely want to see four different 3D shows in Tomorrowland at Disneyland someday
I agree, 3D theatres still have a place in a modern theme park, especially Disney... They are a media company after all! The great thing is that they have a big library of films and know how to tell a story. I’d love to see things rotated through the seasons like you suggest!
i loved innoventions
I did too! I loved that the rotating building was kept when it was transformed.
