well its not the speaker part that you need to worry about listing to you its the microphone is the one you really need to worry about and you need to find out when you turn it off does it sll so turn on the microphone too just becouse when you turn it off dose not mean the microphone is still working or not. so for me to make sure it is not listing to you i would open it up and manually disable it so it can not listen to you for sure.

Worked great, until it didn't. One month and a day mine stopped working completely. No power. Tried the remote finder, pressed the reset button, unplugged on and off several times and nothing. I even moved it to another TV and nothing. I still have another one and we will see how long it lasts. Walmart products aren't noted for their quality. Ordered a new Fire TV stick 4k Max on sale for $39.99 right now.

Getting mine all set up. Noticed no overscan like the Firetv. Some things a little off screen. Added surround and tv to power button. They both turn on together but not off together. Buggy? Needs more preference settings for surround sound. So far, I can easily see this replacing firestick.

I have 4 Onn4k's and they do what I want them to do. I may buy 1 Onn4k pro. I paid 20 bucks for each one . Could I buy four fire sticks at twenty dollars apiece ? No !!!
i am waiting on one of these types of streaming boxs to be able to receive local channels would be turly great then. right now for all the things all these types of boxs my phone is able to do the same things that these boxs are able to do and all i need to do isto case it to my tv is all and that is lot easy even them going on line to order one of these boxs by a long shot.
I would venture to bet that the microphone switch does not actually turn off the mic but just the voice command process. I would believe that the mic is still listening and taking note of ad placement to your screen, or worse.

price is about the same at the lowest sellers. but FireTV stick there is an official price. Highest is like $30. And ONN some sellers sell for $50. And it is twice as big, not sure about how it can crush FireTV stick unless it lasts 2-3 times as long.
N remember key the orignal onn box came out at $39.99 then year later droped too $20 bucks reg price im thinking in year this device be selling for 39.99 calling it now but for $49.88 its worth for everything it offers new budget device king in mine view

Surprised the updated ONN box does not have ventilation holes to dissipate heat. I bought the previous ONN box for my Brother and would get very warm quickly. Heat is not good for electronics longevity. Otherwise looks good.
No thanks, I’ll just stick with my fire stick. It has NEVER let me down for at least 7yrs now. Never buying cable again or going to the movies. I’ll sit at home and pop my own popcorn.

What is the best way to record live sports, movies or shows via streaming from third-party apps? I've never taken the time to figure this out but I have always assumed it would involve a hard drive. Don't really know how to set it all up, can you point me in the right direction for the easiest way to get this done?
Nice presentation sir. I can't however see a use for this device. I have a ROKU tv set up for wireless and it does everything I need. Am I missing something? All the streaming services, both free & pay, are already available to me. I have an external antenna for local over-the-air tv. Again, nice presentation. I bought one of those and when it tells you to update it then it just makes like a little world spinning and then it just goes totally blank at wipes the drive clean

Could you please check if the Onn Pro has Display Scaling. The 2023 version does not have it. Not a big deal you can go into your TV and change the scaling in there. It surprised me that no RUclips content creator pointed out that the 2023 version did not have Display Scaling. Thanks for all the hard work you do

I have a question will it work with Tablo? I have a Tablo and he’s got a few movies but it helps me to get my local channels I live in South Carolina and I get 124 local channels and it’s got movies on it too but getting all this work together.
I've seen a few videos already and I sold. I just need for my walmart to have it in stock. One thing I saw the other day in another video on this was the host showing how if you have an isp connection of more than 100 Mbps, you can use a usb c 3.0 hub with an ethernet jack and connect via it and your content should come in at a higher rate than the 100 of this. Me, I've got a starlink gen 2 so the regular ethernet will work fine (as I already bought the starlink enet adapter for my home network connections). Thank you for your info.
Simply, I have a flat screen TV but no knowledge of the original owners pass code. I can't adjust sound or picture, could not figure how to add on sound components. Will I have any difficulties getting around this issue with the ONN Watch you are demonstrating ?
@markcraven8386 I don't foresee any issues, but to your original issue, their must be a way to factory reset your TV together rid of that unknown password. Google search your TVs model with "factory reset"...

I can't get the "onn. Google TV 4K Pro Streaming Device (New, 2024)" to recognize four of my USB external drives, telling me they're corrupt. Three of them are 2 & 4TB Crucial X10 (exFAT, unpowered), and Sandisk 4TB (exFAT, unpowered). The fourth drive is an 8TB Seagate backup drive (NTFS, powered). The 2TB also failed to even be recognized while connected to a powered dock. However, the Onn. does recognize a 256GB Sandisk thumb drive (exFAT). Do you have any ideas on how to get my portable SSDs working? I'll probably return the Onn. if I don't get it figured out soon. Thank you!

There is 2 things i dont like about the new ONN is the 10/100 Ethernet and it shows up as 23gig of internal storage, not 32
9gb is probably the operating system
But can it be jailbroken? Does it limit what apps you can use or downloading?

One thing I hate about Google TV is ambient mode. Can't set custom screensavers. Andriodtv doesn't have this limitation.
