Thank you Stephanie - today is the Anniversary of his death - 4th February. I think of him singing and playing 'I'll Be Seeing You', beautiful lyrics, for a wonderful man. xx
I like how Johnny just let him talk and share. No unnecessary interruptions! L was always so professional and gracious. Very charismatic person. He is missed ❤
Thank you for your comment Lina. I think the world could do with Liberace right now - we need his kindness, love (he loved his dogs), gentleness, generorisity and his amazing talent and desire to make the world a happier place. xx
What a lovely comment - if you are interested you could join a Liberace Fan Club - a number of them are a pleasure to belong to. Many people still remember him or even knew him. These Fan Clubs are run by a moderator and have wonderful content. All they ask is that people are polite, friendly and not political or controversial. You would be very welcome.
Thank you Daphne - a few members of the Liberace Fan Club knew Liberace - some for many years. All tell of his kindness, generosity and lovely nature to all people he worked with including his own staff. He loved and saved many dogs who were his 'children'. He brought so much to people throughout his life - and is still missed so very much.
Yes he was such a lovely man. The private Liberace was a man who loved to cook and entertain his friends, loved his dogs, devoted to his staff especially his housekeeper Gladys Luckie and was very generous with his friends. I you would like to join his Fan Club, I can give you the names of them - people from all around the world - all very nice fans who keep his legacy alive.
@@susannahleigh26 Anne, thank you for you're response, and for asking if I would be interested in joining "Lee's" fan club. I am not interested in that, at this time, however, I do enjoy your uploads, and will continue to view them! God bless, Nancy-----Maine

Liberace really enjoyed talking to and meeting people. He was very approachable - I am sure he would have loved talking to you about your collection. In fact, I would love to hear more about it as well. We hold him in our hearts and memory - his life was a gift to us - and many, many people still enjoy the man and his music today.
Dear Lisa, So glad you enjoy these clips. They were recorded about 30 years ago on Video so not perfect quality but hey who cares - we love anything we can get of Liberace. xx
@@susannahleigh26 I'm just glad I'm not the only one who still has VHS tapes, hehe! I'll take imperfect quality over nothing at all any time! The quality is actually good for its age! Thanks again!
I have soooo many VHS tapes, both commercial and personal. I miss being able to view them because I'm not aware of any VHS players around anymore. I've been told there's a way to transfer them to DVD; But, I don't know how. Sigh
@@vampthat Hello, Yes, you can get your VHS tapes transferred onto DVD's - I suggest you go into a computer shop and ask them who can do it for you. Of course with old tapes the quality after transfer will be the same but I have done this with a number of things I taped over 30 years ago and don't want to loose. You will have to pay - good luck, let me know how you go. Anne.
@@vampthat VCRs seemed to have fizzled out of existence and I didn't even notice it was happening. I don't have any Lee stuff but I sure have a ton of other things that I'm sad I won't get to save. I saw one of those gadgets at Wal-Mart for $49 but you still need the various playback items to connect to the computer. Plus imagine how long it would take to back up all those videos! Such a shame. But I'm glad for the gems I can get on here. :) Record players are making a come-back so who knows!

Hello Todd, During one part of the Donahue show Liberace says he is 67 years old, so I would say 1986. Sadly he died aged 67. I can see the man behind the showman when he is talking to the audience. Somewhat shy, and a very warm kind person. Anne.
Maybe the beginning of health problems at this time. He was in his late 60's and had worked hard for 50 years - exhausting shows in which he have everything he had to entertain us. He did smoke a lot and had heart and lung problems as well.
Ok that sweater is why I never should have thought about not clicking FUCK comparing whether people payed attention to his clothes or piano playing what about the fact they paid to see everything about this mans performance
Aside from his talent, he seemed like such a genuinely kind, perceptive and likable person.
I agree!! 😸
"What I do .. I do best". No truer words spoken.
Oh,,, I’d forgotten how I love to hear him play. I like his style and pieces he plays. ❤️
