Por fin una review de alguien que ya la uso de verdad y no de solo alguien que la ha abierto de la caja, muchas gracias me sirvio mucho tu informacion
You are very welcome
I wanted a big fdm printer that could do large prints as well as the smaller prints. I looked hard at this printer. A lot of good reviews about it. I decided to go with the Ender 5 Plus instead. If I need something bigger in the future then perhaps get the CR 10 Max. Thanks for posting a video about it.
Just received mine three days ago. And I’m so happy with it! Thanks for your videos, I hope the hulk buster is going well 👍
I have the s5 for years and planing to upgrade. yes the s5 does need some tech know how to trouble shoot at the beginning but one you have it ready it runs and honestly price ve size ratio there is no other brand to look at
Nice honest review I am warry of bowdens but i print rigid filaments only so no worries there. Have you tried upping to volcano or barring that going to a 0.8 nozzle to improve speeds?
I got my Max thru a US vendor tinymachines3d and they actually included the same sort of cable retention for the boden etc. I have to agree it is a workhorse and well worth the cost to have such a flexible build volume, even if I never use it all I like having it and not having to manipulate the object to get it to fit on the plate. Great review!
Thanks very much! I keep meaning to print strain releif parts for the cables and stuff but it keeps slipping my mind haha.
@@Chriss_Workshop Good day Chris, would this be good to print out the Ghostbusters proton pack shell and do you think it would be durable?
What filament would be best for durability for a large size print?
It would work. I'd print with PETG filament
Oh big boiiiii
Im only getting started
Nice! Love the sword blooper. This is probably me next fdm if I ever decide to get a 2nd.
Its a hell of a workhorse man. You wont regret it
Hi man! You got a new follower here!
I have a cr10s pro v2 and I’m very interested in buy this printer, I want to ask you, is this the same printer as the cr10s pro v2 but huge?
Yes sir!
It’s a beauty 😍
I sized the halo infinite chest piece to me with armorsmith and it fits on a cr10 max, now I kind of wish I bought one 😬
Dew it
awesome stuff man
Appreciate it! I hate my mic quality wasnt great this video, but we'll get there!
I find you credible. Thanks for that
I do what i can.
It's February 2022, I'm about to buy a large printer
I need help deciding between this cr-10 max or the cr6 max
Now I have a cr6se which is perfect so I'm more inclined towards the cr6 max as its the same just bigger
But the cr10 max is bigger and cheaper.
What would you do in my shoes?
Cr10 max. Because i've zero experience with the cr6 and know nothing about it. Plus that huge build volume opens up a lot of posibilities down the road
i don´t know why but i have always problems to get the print going. it just seems that for some reason allthough i adjust the leveling perfect with the dials and turn off the autocalibration as that doesnt give any better results as soon as the print stars it could be way of and i have to hit hard on the liveZ to get the first layer to stick. also if the prints are long the sides could end up being different height and sometimes otherside seems to drag after ten to twenty centimeters on Z. I even switched the z rods screw couplers to springloaded to help with the movement but i don´t know did they bring anything special to the table. For me the printer has been fiddly. I ques i should put some insulatoion under the bed to help with the living of the aluminium during heat
Thanks for your video man, seeing you had it for a year and still love it is good. Most of the reviews have not been great. I just recieved mine the big thing I noticed is my z axis motors wobble during layer change, also did you update the firmware or still stock as a rock?
again thanks for your video any feedback would be awesome.
Did you try to tighten the screws holding them in? And yep my firmware is still the default stock one.
@@Chriss_Workshop there as tight as I can safely make them, printed a small spacer off my ender and jiggle it under. thats done the trick, now it really is a amazing printer.
Heyy great to hear
I would start by building r2d2 :) with it :) but it costs so little more In Danish kr but hope I would still be happy with it :)
Big machines should only have big nozzles.
Yes I love my CR-10 MAX except for the fact that parts are hard to get. I have done Pieces that have required 14 Days to print and I usually time the change if filament and splice the at the end of rolls before they run out. My machine has printed literally hundreds of prints most very large. Like full size storm trouper masks and 14" tall Temple models. My Y AXIS MOTOR BEARINGS JUST FAILED AND AM NOW TRYING TO GET THE PARTS TO FIX IT.
Yeah parts are kinda difficult given its not a hugely focused on machine by creality for some reason
hello i gopt a printer question i got today a cr10max built and did the lving spooling to it and i am trying to get my printer to print but it dosent seem to printe at all liek the moment it says printing it just hovers above the print table what can be the pause of it ?
Not 100% sure what your saying here. Try reslicing the model or printing a different file. Sometimes thats the issue. Or just cycling the powet can help. Pay attention to the temperatures and male sure its heating up properly
Hi, thank for the video. I am in need for a large format printer. I have a few questions if you don't mind.
1. Does it work well out of the box?
2. Does it need any major upgrades, or does it do ok as a stock printer.
3. Does it have a motherboard with TMC silent steppers? How load is the printer?
4. How does it compare to the Creality CR10 S5 large printer?
Thanks again for the review video.
It works perfect out of box. The only upgrade i'd stress you get asap is an upgraded capricorn bowden tube as it helps with clogs and jams. The motherboard isnt silent but isnt as loud as an ender 3. And i cant really compare the two properly because i dont own an S5 to properly compare it as i feel would be appropriate.
@@Chriss_Workshop Thank you very much for the feedback
I've just bought one and love it but I'm having a real problem getting it to put a skirt down that sticks and doesn't drift around with the extruder, I'm using the original bed, any suggestions?
Always be aware of the bed being level because at times it might not be. Also nozzle distance, you may need to get the nozzle closer so that first layer has a nice squish against the bed. Another tip is maybe running the nozzle, bed, or both a little hotter by 5-10 degrees
@@Chriss_Workshop okay, raised the extruder temp 10 degrees but on other forums it's telling me to turn off the bed heat for PLA but still no luck, I'll try your suggestion of raising it up. Thx
I always run with the bed turned on. It keeps the plastic semi melted/sticky so it stays on the bed until your done. Is eco mode turned on? You'll want that turned iff. It turns off the bed head mid print which can cause failures
I have this model of printer but I need to upgrade the print bed. Do you have any recommendations
I use a flexplate by wham bam. At times i have issues with it sticking but i find thats usually my filament needing to be dried
@@Chriss_Workshop have you experienced issues with your print bed being low on one corner regardless of how you adjust the other corners
No
@@Chriss_Workshop I’ll try the wham bam flex plate hopefully it will help. I’ve had a lot of issues with the prints curling up and popping off the print bed
Raise your bed temp 5-10 degrees. Also make sure the machine isnt close to an air vent for example or anything that may introduce cold air
it doesn’t have to be a 200 hour print... ever consider using the included 0.8mm nozzle?
I was running a .6 at the time. It was also my largest print at the time. Since then ive played a lot with a few different diameters but prefer .6 for saving detail where i can in some areas
Would you recommend this or the ender 5 plus
The ender 5 plus. The max is fantastic. But i rarely find myself using the full buuld volume
Do you have a video for print settings? As in cura or any splicer you recommend. I've had mine for a few months but keep getting prints with messed up lines. Also when It runs out of filament mid print and I fill it up and set it to continue printing it seems to shift and un aligns the print. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!! I'm currently running on the 8mm nozzle for terrain and wargaming.
Not really as 90% of my stuff is default settings. I really only play with temps and infill. Thats more hardware than software
Does no one understand that self promotion on Reddit is breaking Reddit rules!
Its up to the subreddits mods to remove videos. What if someone else shared the video? It wouldnt be self promotion. At least my posts are related to the pages and im trying to give to the community. Im not even monetized. I just wanna help give an informed opinion and fail to see the problem.
@@Chriss_Workshop You trying to self promote your RUclips channel, having an excuse to break the rules, dosnt mean you broke the rules any less. It simply means you knowingly broke the rules and didnt care about breaking the rules!
Dont know what to tell you. You can always scroll past my post if you dislike it. Or even block my reddit account so you can never see me self promote and be proud of my work again. That way when i break the rules you wont see me break the rules and by not seeing me break the rules you wont know if i broke the rules. And that rules
@@Chriss_Workshop I'll just keep showing up at your channel and down voting your videos and your Reddit posts till the mods step up and do their jobs
