      Hi, I repeated to watch this tutorial and ready to start. Everything's clear and makes sense. But why should start 79 chain only? Isn't the chain count deciding the body length? Can you please advise if I have to start with 79 or I can add as many as my desirable length? Thanks!

    • @bonniemooney3283
      @bonniemooney3283 3 месяца назад

    I'm so excited to try this!! there's some yarn that I absolutely love the feel of (bernat forever fleece), but the weight is 6 instead of 5, so I'm going to try doing everything as written but a size down from my actual size. I'd love for something like this as an actual pull over hoodie with a tunnel pocket, so I might experiment a bit (and probably ask my grandma for some advice lol)

    Awesome pattern Carrie, you never disappoint. However, my sister is a 4x-5x, and she LOVES this pattern. Therefore, how difficult would it be to increase the size, or do you have the numbers?

    • @hildedehert210
      @hildedehert210 2 года назад +5

      Hi Paula Lyon, I saw your question and assumed you didn't get an answer yet. You can adjust this pattern easily by just adding rows until you've reached the required width for the back & the 2 front panels. If you 'd like the cardigan to be longer, just start with a longer chain. I think the sleeves are wide enough for any size, if not you can add some more rows here also. You will ovbiously need some more yarn... maybe 2 or 3 balls. Hope this helps. I love this cardigan too!

      Use Needle 🧵 as opposed to the crochet hook for seaming. I make more garments than accessories and can tell you from experience. Think you're doing it tighter thinking it won't come apart.
