    Hi T. I am going to attempt this pattern. I love this bomber sweater jacket. I grew up camping. We went to Quaking Aspen, Koolgarty in Barstow, El Campo Peewee in Mexico, up until i was 14. We also camped in the Mojave Desert when my Dad entered the Barstow to Vegas race when i was 14. We had so much fun growing up. We always had good sized tents, no totally outdoor camping. Eww, i am creeped out by bugs. Lol.

    Hi. At around 12:56 in the video, it says the panel should be 9 1/2 inches or 11 centimeters. But 11 centimeters is about 4 1/2 inches, not 9. And 9 looks a bit big. Can you clarify, as the yarn I’m working with seems to require more rows than yours, so I’m using the measurements. Thank you!

    Yes I have been camping before! I went to summer camp when I was younger, and once, my mom had convinced me to go on this camping trip the sleep-away camp offered, for a little extra money. Although I was hesitant, I still did it. When my mom went to camp as a kid, she went on a canoe camp, where basically they were in the wilderness, it was REALLY roughing it. The camp I went to was like super nice, with showers and stuff. But, the camping trip was...well...awful. I was the ONLY girl, and it was so buggy. One kid, I remember counted all the mosquito bites they got, and it totaled to about 146. It was not fun at all, but that's just me, and it was a good experience to have, because I live in the city(Chicago), and a lot of kids don't get that kind of camping/rural/woods/forest exposure!

The way you did your cuffs was interesting, I still prefer to use a front loop double drop stitch, (front post double crochet), then back loop double drop (back loop double crochet) for ribbing, but I may try this one just to try it. Hi thanks for reaching out! I'm glad that you like our pieces, thanks so much! As for making this in a different size we use a made to measure technique to get the size that fits you perfectly. All the places that you would need to measure are always stated within the tutorial and unfortunately I can't give you the chain of row counts for size medium because I didn't make one. If you have any questions feel free to reach out though I'm more than happy to help 😊

    I want to be able to close the jacket. How would we incorporate button holes? Or would we need to get a zipper?

    • @TCDDIY
      @TCDDIY  3 года назад

      You can do either. 😊The fit of this jacket is close to being able to close already, so you can sew on a zipper without altering the pattern or you can grab buttons and sew those on as well without altering the pattern. The buttons fit inbetween the double crochet's of the front border just make sure they aren't too big. 😊
