      @@JESUS_IS_GOD well, I do like the bike but it leaves me wanting more. It’s faster than most standard ebikes by a couple mph. There are a lot of alternatives that are quite a bit faster. The range is fantastic. I have been on 50 mile rides with plenty of juice left. The bike is big and heavy so it’s difficult to transport it around in a vehicle but you don’t really feel it when you’re riding it. Overall it’s a good bike but if I had to do it all over again, I would probably go with something more powerful.

    The price is relatively competitive compared to Onyx, Super 73, Mondays. I'm worried the Speed/Power Arms Race of these "bikes" is gonna alert John Law and we'll get EU style restrictions.

    • @TinyTitian
      @TinyTitian 4 года назад +3

      Onyx and Monday have significantly more power. They also should come with VINS to make registration 10 x easier. The Monday bike is governered to be slower than the onyx even though its actually a stronger motor. Both bikes are dishing out alot more power. I would be worried about running a Bafang geared hub at the wattage Juiced is. Super 73 r series is already having motors fall apart at higher amps so I see the same happening for Juiced.

      I have a hyperscorpion. Yeah, it can hit about 33-32 with throttle alone, but that's on a full-charge. As soon as it dips to 56 volts or less, maintaining 30 becomes more of a challenge and most of the time I'm going under 30. If it hit over 35-40 I'd be more concerned with the law. As is, I don't think it's an issue.

      Just got my juice scorpion reg model ebike yesterday, and put it together. Rode it today, and I must say the fun factor is awesome, and I did reach 30mp but consistently got 25 to 28 mph in mode R. I rode the bike 25 miles and still had 3 bars of battery using peddle assist eco, 3 and R + throttle alternating between them. I owned the rad rover, and it’s a good bike, but it’s just a heavy bike, and the motor lacks the power it needs to push it past 24 mph, and going up hills is not so easy especially living in San Francisco. I am not talking the steep insane hills but the moderate hills in SF, and the rad rover chugged just barely making it with me peddling like a mad man. I weigh 200lb maybe that’s what added to the sluggishness of the bike, and I am definitely trying give my honest review, but I feel the rad rover needs a more powerful motor for San Francisco. The juice scorpion base model seems to have more torque due to the smaller wheel size, and maybe a better comparison would be the rad mini and the reg scorpion, but the scorpion handled the hills a lot better, still get exercise. I did get more of a workout with the rad rover, but found that the mileage I was getting was about 25 miles per charge, and ran out of battery power twice because as soon as you hit 2 bars the battery doesn’t have much power and would run out within a few more miles of reaching the second bar. I sold my rad rover to get the juice bike and I know it’s just a day but I can tell I like the juice better because it’s more of a cruiser, and I still got enough exercise by riding in eco and 3, and throttle. I am going to use the juice bike as more of a cruiser, and get a rad mission for strictly getting exercise. I think having both makes sense because the rad mission is light and I can take it on public transportation if I need to. Both these companies put out a great product, and are committed to satisfying its customers. I think no matter what you choose between these two companies you can’t go wrong as long as you find the right fit for you.

    I don't know why they are known for powerful bikes because they aren't. I have had two and I am not impressed. They definitely aren't long range as I have two batteries equal to 35ah and get 70 miles range. I get 24 wh/Mile no matter what mode I am in and they say that's normal. B.S. I build bikes and that's not normal. What's the use of having different modes if you get the same range no matter what you do. I say there is something wrong with the controller but they say nope. They also say that they just want to make the customer happy yet they refuse to send me another controller to try. I have bought 2 bikes from these clowns and haven't been happy with either one. I learned my lesson the hard way and I will never recommend them to anyone. It's not rocket science when you can't get the bike to perform any better than 24wh/mile in any mode, even eco, and nothing changes that something isn't right. They have already had to replace the battery too and the bike was purchased in December 2022. Did I mention the word junk. The thing that really gets me is that they won't even make an effort to prove me wrong. All I wanted was a controller to try and if it wasn't that, I would send it back but they just don't care. I am really surprised they have lasted this long but it will catch up to them. They have an excuse for everything. The only person in that company that knows how to treat their customers is Andy, he is a nice guy but he can only do so much and he knows it ain't right. No way to do business Tora.
