Yup, this one and the Devel Sixteen. The best Paperweights ever developed. The amount of R and D to make a paperweight evoke such feelings and feeling so evoked that one could only hope to catch a glimmer of provocation so profound that only the finest will ever experience. Simply beautiful.
Well the Devel sixteen was actually a scam. The production i canceled. They just put out empty words like «5000 hp engine» 0-60 under 2 sec etc. They never got anywhere other than 2 prototype cars, thats it.
Where they kept on using the same car for all the different events reminds me of what Carroll Shelby used to do when he built the first cobra, where he would paint the car in different colours for different events and even sell the car to four different customers to make out that there were more than just one cobra 🐍
Shel had 3-4 cars that got repainted MANY times. They got toured around and "sold". Once you paid for your car they'd tell you they were cleaning it up and getting it ready for you. More people have raced that car in games such as Asphalt 9 Legends or played with it as Hot Wheels than they've seen actual real life footage of it being driven or tested.
I had one in the mobile game CSR racing before knowing what it even was. I thought it was a concept car they added, I had never heard of or seen it before then.
I actually walked past the W Motors showroom in Dubai by coincidence. I saw a Hypersport and also the Fenyr, both of them were turned on because they maneuvered the around. But it was a really weird atmosphere there and they didn`t really appreciate me looking...
The fact that a youtuber with students builds a replica on a very limited budget and does a better job than W motors showing it, makes them very "not-solid".
That’s somehow worse than the initial story, which is “the car doesn’t exist”. Now it’s “the car is being built by two RUclipsrs and not the company that is supposedly producing them”. Because what is W Motors supplying if they don’t even in house the engine and drivetrain?
Damn thats a long time ago. "BRING BACK BART AND SCIENCE GARAGE" although i guess Jeremy has taken the science part of donut media which is nice but if bart was still in the show it would be better.
It's not a beast in a cage. It's just a pretty pony that overheats if you drive it too long. I'm sure it's performance would be overstated too. I'm sure if it did a 0 - 100 test, it would be lousy and borderline embarrassing, but what do you expect when you have components made of gold within it? Gold is pretty much the heaviest metal there is, and very malleable, so it's probably 1 of a number of things in this car that will only slow you down. It's just a status symbol car. It's just a mimic like how some mantis flies look cooler than wasps, but wasps still rule.

Yup, this one and the Devel Sixteen. The best Paperweights ever developed. The amount of R and D to make a paperweight evoke such feelings and feeling so evoked that one could only hope to catch a glimmer of provocation so profound that only the finest will ever experience. Simply beautiful.
Pure arab beauties
Well the Devel sixteen was actually a scam. The production i canceled. They just put out empty words like «5000 hp engine» 0-60 under 2 sec etc. They never got anywhere other than 2 prototype cars, thats it.

This is why Bugatti, Hennessy and Koenigsegg are the only 3 real Hypercar companies that will make cars that push the limits of speed.

Then they used your deposit to build you a car. The difference here is Carroll actually delivered on performance. He was a LEGEND.
@@bullhornzz oh wow I didn’t know that, either way your right Shel was an absolute legend 🐍🐍🐍🐍
@@bullhornzz I mean it’s not like W motors is building their own powertrain and transmission. It’s literally a CTR3 with a body kit at WORST. Who knows what improvements they would’ve made in the time in between the releases of both cars.

I love when Nolan goes full artistIc critique mode! Especially when he questions the validity of "the two paintings"!!! Great episode!
This reminds me of when "Nikola", the infamous truck company, did a "test drive" for their prototype truck, letting it roll down the hill because it didn't really have an engine inside, although no one was aware of that fact. Too bad GM invested about 2 Billion dollars in that company, money that evetually went down the tubes (There's a video about that affair on this channel).
Never liked that Lykan project, always seemed to be too exaggerated and cringy in some cases (Like when it was starred in the "Fast and Furious" movie for example)

The simple fact that W Motors is completely on board and cool with Genius Garage redoing the Fast and furious car makes them solid I think.
The fact that a youtuber with students builds a replica on a very limited budget and does a better job than W motors showing it, makes them very "not-solid".
Allowing a youtuber to build what is essentially a kit car isn't really that impressive.
That’s somehow worse than the initial story, which is “the car doesn’t exist”. Now it’s “the car is being built by two RUclipsrs and not the company that is supposedly producing them”. Because what is W Motors supplying if they don’t even in house the engine and drivetrain?
That First Hypersport is also the one on Forza, so they also let them get the first one as well i guess.

Funny enough for those of you who know Casey Putsch, he bought the stunt replica of the Lykan from Fast 7 and turned it into a running car using a Boxster drivetrain with his students just had to bring that up

Lykan is the epitome of form over function.
But not even the form is that great. There are plenty of luxurious cars that look significantly better (obviously a subjective opinion).
"Form" it's ugly AF

**Fake jet engines**
Middle Eastern car culture as a whole is the epitome of form over function. Lykan is the perfect car to showcase that.
