    The first time I heard this melody was 60 years ago in the Egyptian Gardens Cafe on 29th st. And 8th ave,
    . In New York City,it was sung by Beautiful Turkish singer, belly dancer named Saliha .

    The Bengali poet Kazi Nazrul Islam took this tune and composed Shukno Patar Nupur Paye; and Tribhubaner Priyo Muhammad in Bangla. There is a bit of Ottoman flavour in the music of Bengal and Bangladesh because of this. Very nice rendition. Love from Bangladesh

    • @muhammadirfanyaqoob429
      @muhammadirfanyaqoob429 4 года назад +3

      It's not an bengali poem. , it's a turkish folk song. "Uskudara gider Iken ."

    • @Schaheb
      @Schaheb 4 года назад +18

      @@muhammadirfanyaqoob429 That's exactly what he's saying. You misunderstood. He is saying that a Bengali poet took the Turkish song and wrote lyrics for it in Bangla, which in turn led to introducing a traditional Turkish (Ottoman) flavor into the music of Bengal.

      That's why this sounds so familiar. Of course, Kazi Nazrul added his own touch.

      @@bucurescu.Avete totalmente ragione! Gli Ungheresi, anche se sono ancestralmente di origine cinese mongola (Attila , Re degli Unni, che devasto' l'Italia , mia patria, e l'intero Impero Romano nel ) , si fermarono in Pannonia ( oggi Ungheria e Croazia Settentrionale), secondo la volontà di Attila. Qui, a contatto con le popolazioni romanizzate e cristiane sia pannoniche , germaniche, che Slave gli UNNI si sono europizzati e cristianizzati, diventando col tempo una delle più prestigiose nazioni europee , oltreché baluardo formidabile contro le aggressioni islamiche turche ( paradossalmente lontanissimi parenti!..). La stirpe ungherese è definita ugro finita, mentre la lingua non è indoeuropea, bensì di origine mongolica. Chiedere a qualsiasi docente di linguistica. Nonostante ciò è un magnifico popolo, valoroso e come ho detto Cristianissimo. Ero piccola , quando visitai con la famiglia la splendida Budapest. La Cattedrale ,molto bella ,dedicata a S. Stefano I il Santo , il primo Re magiaro convertito al Cristianesimo, con il suo popolo . Era agosto ed ho visto la festa sua , festa nazionale . L'Ungheria fece parte dell'impero d'Austria come Regno autonomo. Un ramo collaterale dei RE d'Angiò di Napoli ( XIV sec ),regnò in Ungheria. Saluti da Napoli , Italia ❤

    • @antoniettadilorenzo9064
      @antoniettadilorenzo9064 Месяц назад

      Essi ,tra le stirpi europee, costituiscono il gruppo ugro finnico altaico. Un'altro popolo, con la stessa situazione ungherese, annoverato nella stirpe slava, è il Bulgaro . Anche loro sono di origine turca nomade, provenienti dalle steppe euriasiatiche. Ma quando sono venuti in Europa Orientale, al tempo dell'impero Romano Orientale, si sono cristianizzati e mescolati con gli Slavi . Anzi sono considerati i primi Slavi cristiani perché evangelizzati dai fratelli monaci greci di Tessalonica, inviati dall'imperatore romano .
