As once a resident of Uskudar, I can say that this is one of the best performances of this Uskudar song. Ismail Lumanovski adds color to it from Macedonia.

Listen to Bengali version . You will love it . The lyrics goes like " shukno patar nupur paye "

@@mdintekhabhossain8448 None can beat the original. Which is Turkish, I believe. To me, pure classical version is THE best. You can find it here on YT.

@@robi-wo9mc There is no existence of "Originality". In Bengali it's a bit different in tone . A new creation in Bengali. So in Bengali it is also original. The poet was there never to copy . He was there to be influenced only to create a completely new version.

@@mdintekhabhossain8448 In that sese you're right. So I'll put it differently and say prior version instead. Which is Turkish. However, the point stays the same. Turkish is better, at least to my ears. But of course, not ALL turkish versions are equally good. Depends on the arrangement, the quality of musicians etc. Here I can only repeat what I've already said: to me, pure classical version is THE best. Check it out if you haven't yet (Music of Ottoman empire, old Ottoman Song 18/19 th Century - Üsküdara Giderken)

@@robi-wo9mc I have already listened to that song. Mother tongue is sweeter than others to everyone. You can hear the Bengali version "shukno patar Nupur paye " sung by Anuradha Paudwal.
