    Kudos for showing the quick spring check by holding the actuator and working the lever. Your video is the only one I've seen explaining it. You did better than Slavens lol.

    Great video. In my typical way or being overprepared, this is video 9 on the same thing - all show a different bit in more detail - this was certainly one of the better ones. Also nice to see parts in normal working condition - so many channels have perfectly clean (or new) parts all shiny and nice - and it's not like that! New Sub (KTM 250 EXC 2013 6D - Mexico)

    There's two different sizes of the head o rings. 76mm and 80mm. Some models use one type, some the other. Thats why you get both in the kit I believe

    How do you adjust a power valve on a 2020 250SX when a 300 kit is installed? The new power valve does not have a stop arm. Please show a video on how to adjust the 2020 valve without the stop arm. Thank you.

  • @seanheuertz4479

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  4 года назад

      You can adjust how far it closes but I leave it where it was. That is on the left side of the motor where the two plates are. There is an Allen that you don’t have to remove.

    whats the orange clip looking part on exhaust port for/ does it help seal port to pipe?

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  2 года назад

      No, it is to protect the flange in case you hit the pipe really hard

    I have a question about the slide. Should it have play left to right? I know it slides up and down that’s a given . But mine has side to side play quite a bit. And I don’t know if the rattling in my engine is coming from that or it’s coming from my worn out flange, which is making my pipe rattle. I will replace everything if I have to.

      @@highlandcycles it’s all good. It’s literally my first 2 stroke. Got a great deal on it. Great fricken bike. Powerhouse. I learned on it. Now I’m learning how to fix everything on it. I’m 47 and been riding off-road 2.5 years finally racing this year! I’ve done 2 races and I have gncc camp Coker up next ! I’ve been racing my beautiful 2020 yz 250x and my 2013 ktm250xc is my workhorse. I watch Jeff Slavens videos and they are spot on. But I like yours better. Better camera better commentary! More riding videos! Great tutorials and funny af! 😆 I love mechanical engineering and obviously I love turning wrenches! If you care check out my RUclips and some of my journey that would be very cool dude! I don’t have garage videos or tutorials yet. Someday! But thanks for your help sir 🫡

    Got a question regarding the boost port valves.
    Is it normal that they don’t work the same on both sides?
    Or did i do something wrong when reassembling it?
