Always very practical advice. Other videos require tools no one has

You did a very good job and one of the hints you gave( reuse O-rings on small ports because new ones are too big) I used new ones and they were causing it to bind. Thanks for saving me time and money. Steve

I was getting SO FRUSTRATED watching another video from a reputable you tube channel that sells parts and got binding each time.....a buddy directed me to your vid and VOILA...perfectly done without ANY binding first time round! THANK YOU. Great tip on lining up the cylinder to mesh the control arms!!!!!!!!! HOT TIP!

Hi mate, I'm rebuilding the power valve on my 300 exc for the first time, it's been leaking a lot of black oil. I found your video extremely helpful, I haven't done this job before. Mine is a 99 model, but things look mostly the same.
    Great job on the video.

How do you adjust a power valve on a 2020 250SX when a 300 kit is installed? The new power valve does not have a stop arm. Please show a video on how to adjust the 2020 valve without the stop arm. Thank you.

Nice video - first good explanation I have seen on the timing Z dimension. What think you of rebuild grease? KTM calls for Bike Grease 2000 but I can't get it - notice that you just use 2T oil - obviously, you prefer it but is there a specific reason?

How many hours were on when re-plate was needed and was it a premature wear causing need for replate? Dirt get into the cylindrer?

Are there any bushes to wear on these mechanisms?
Had a quick feel of mine today and it is quite loose/ rattly on the main valve and the two smaller valves are loose too.

    Hi,
    Great video!
Got a question regarding the boost port valves.
Is it normal that they don’t work the same on both sides?
Or did i do something wrong when reassembling it?
    Made a video:
    ruclips.net/video/8il_QqMGuQE/видео.html
One is open when flap is open, but one not.
    Thanks for help!

Check the title of the video... it’s a powervalve rebuild video , not a top end rebuild video. 👍

@@primalcarnage2480 If you don't know how to clean the PV parts then maybe you should not be stripping the thing down in the first place.

Doing my first top end on a ktm 300 at 150 hours. Do I need to rebuild the power valve at 150 hours also?
