Amazing videos. Thank you Jeff for doing these. Cleaning my 12 250XC PV tomorrow and what a piece of cake. Would not have even considered it without consulting you via RUclips. Thanks again Sir

Thanks Jeff, this helped me out huge! I just got my 300 kit for my 2015 KTM 250sx, and it came with no paperwork, just a bag full of bolts and parts. With your help, the install went great. Well done.

Hello mr. Slavens, I was wondering if there was an alternative to that liquid gasket sealer? Can I just use a normal gasket sealer? Or what can I use since I can't get anything else. Thanks a lot.

Great video, but why no mention of welding or staking the pin? They are known to come out, especially on the 300.

I'm mounting the valve and everything is cleaned and lubed and aligned. I can move the power valve up and down with my fingers but (seemingly) I have to apply more force than Jeff does in his video, it looks almost in the video that they are lose. Is it normal to feel certain resistance? If I can move it still with my fingers should I be OK?

So really youre mostly cleaning the PV? Would it be easier to just drop the pipe and use subaru upper engine cleaner or three bond super engine conditioner to de-carbon the PV every 5-10 rides instead of complete disassembly/clean say once per year?

      +whole tur
The majority of the carbon builds on top of the powervalve flap. Your plan would not touch that area and has the potential of releasing the carbon and the cleaner in to the bore.

      Hello Pooch:
There is no "slide" in the power valve so what part are your referring to?

      @@slaverace1 sorry I’m
New to the terminology. But my power valve on my 13 Ktm 250xc has side to side movement. Although I heard it’s supposed to Becuz it heats up? But my friend has the same bike and his has no play

      Hello:
Side to side play is normal and does not cause a problem.
