One of the best things I've done with an old bike was gifted it to a person who didn't ask for it, but needed it badly. The Crashing Dad now has a KILLER Ragley Bigwig that he is stoked on!
I have been riding for many years and made the switch to mountain bikes recently. I suffered an oth resulting in multiple breaks to my left arm last fall. Now that I am healed up, when it warms up I’m looking for a bike upgrade. At my age I am thinking about stability and getting home in one piece. Since I am not interested in doing tricks, what bike would you recommend that is just inherently going to improve my safety but still be a great ride?
You are a genius! You plot and storytelling is so good. Every single video I stay so engaged, I cannot day that about any other cycling youtuber. Thanks again for the spectacular content Seth 👍🏽
Hey Seth, I would love to see you ride some trials again. I do. It's such an amazing sport and and I think it deserves more attention. Keep up the great work! Greetings from Germany...
You are awesome! I often find people giving away broken or run-down bikes in my neighborhood. I like to snatch them up so that I can fix them and give them away to kids who could really use them. I'm in the process of starting up a small business repairing and servicing bikes. My hope is to start this business up for at least one of my four children to take over. In the process of teaching my kids how to do this stuff, it is great to have a steady supply of free bikes to fix up and give away. Kudos brother!
Seth, I absolutely love your videos keep posting and get better soon, I also like these bike checks where I can watch them just to enjoy your channel and it’s amazing how fast it grew and how much you are sponsored
I can tell you that you are an amazing producer Seth! Not just you do excellent videos but you turn them even better with your good skills on editing. Great job!
Ok let me please get this out: I've seen and thoroughly enjoyed about 10 of your vids. What appeals to me most is your excellent narration, video editing and camera skills. Perhaps better, but only slightly is your gentle, humble nature. You're just so easy to listen to and, often times, hilarious to watch---successes, faults and all. I am now a happy subscriber. Thumbs WAY up!!!

another great video seth, seeing all these bikes gets me so inspired to get a bike up and running of my own. Haven't had my own bike since i was 14 years old (23 now) but I make sure to ride every bike I have a chance too (room mates, public share bikes and kids at the skate park who want a go on my skate board who are riding a bike). I have only owned bmxs (a diamond back that was stolen and a haro x1) but after seeing you ride hard tails on trails I know that's what I want. I don't want to invest so much cash early on so I'm thinking about getting an old bike and learning how too fix and maintain it. Once again another awesome video seth, great seeing all my options laid out. Hope the wrist/arm heals well and soon, so we can see you back on the trails. Much love Australia
Just bought a friend's jamis durango. It's an older model. I haven't ridden a bike in about 10 or 15 years. Hoping to get back in the habit. Love your videos.
im a beginner in MTB I converted from BMX because im a large fellow and bmx just couldn't hang I always felt goofy or off on it even when I was good enough to do tricks. the first time I road my friends 700$ custom hardtail I was in love , and the obsession began. thanks to your channel I now have the tools I need to eventually go out and purchase my own now knowing what to look for , so thank you u earned the sub!
Thank you for all the great content. I appreciate all you do for the bicycling world. Keep up the fantastic work. I've loads of post-production experience so I recognize the high quality of your videos as well. Thanks again!
Dude, I gotta say that what I like most about your video's is that they are authentic. That you don't "over-edit" them to the point of them being artificial, repetitive, or unoriginal. The fact that you are willing to leave-in/include yourself crashing is truly UNIQUE among your cohorts who produce similar videos. Most people would only show great they shred, and edit out the less than perfect riding scenes. You obviously can tear up the trail, but the crashes show honesty. You also don't "push" Diamondback, but the authenticity makes me at least consider the brand versus other RUclips posts that are obviously driven by a sponsor. Nothing wrong with that necessarily either as everyone has to make some cheese, but it is nice to see a genuine viewpoint.
Hi Seth thanks very much for these really great videos. You have really helped me a lot. Hope your grandpa got his bike back in one piece. Looking forward to seeing out on the trail one day, big hi from Australia!
Seth may I suggest covering the ceiling of the dungeon with 6 mil plastic? This will help keep fiberglass dust from contaminating the air and any sensitive equipment that you may have down there. It will also serve as a vapor barrier for upstairs. Cheers! 🤙
@Seth’s Bike Hacks Because of your video on the se every day I bought one. I’m 13 and needed a relatively cheap bike that would withstand being a dirt jumper. It is great I have built 2 dirt jumps so far. I did give my self a stress fracture that does not want to heal but, I am still making more jumps and waiting to be able to ride them again
Seeing all those diverse bike types make me think of my daughter 'claiming' my beloved Cannondale Trail 6 and is now slowly turning it in to a comfort bike.
BowlG Official, alright, I wasn't sure I remembered it right. I vaguely remember a tallbike being welded together from a Walmart fatbike and some other frame.. Anyway, what happened with that thing? That was a fun bike.
Awesome collection for sure. I hope to get back into riding one day when weight and acl issues are no longer an issue. Love the videos keep them coming.
Man! I wish I could do more mountain biking... I used to do more cross trek stuff because there are not many big hills near me. Now that I am able to travel a little farther I want to get a proper bike! I have my brothers old one, but it is falling apart... haha, guess that’s why I worked at a bike shop!
Hey Seth. I love your videos. I am very new to mtb and want to get more into it and better, but the back tire of my bike fell out and the chain broke and haven’t had a chance to go get it fixed. I can’t wait for new videos. Keep up the good work

Hey Seth, it's 2019, and I was wondering if you still have that El Oso. It would be really cool to see a video about that
In a world of hyper-branding, you have to admire an anonymous badass bike like the Murder Machine. Well done man.

Why does it matter if it has a steel frame?
That would make the head angle ridiculous.
