*Maintenance Hack: Make cable nipples out of solder* 2 cables for price of one! Tested myself. 1)Drill a hole the diameter and depth of a typical cable nipple in a hardwood block. 2)Drill a slot half the depth of hole 1 and ensure that the slot feeds into the side of hole 1. This is for a cable to sit in. 3)Fill hole 1 with molten solder and plunge the cable through the slot and into the solder. After it has set remove from the mold and clean up edges. You now have a new nipple on your cable. This is great when you buy a new cable that is super long, don't chuck the excess, make a new nipple for it and now you have 2 cables for the price of one!! WEAR SAFETY GLASSES :)
I've tried to solder SS cable ends before instead of using crimp-on ends and had poor luck with it. Normal lead/tin solder doesn't stick to it. Quick research says silver solder works, but that stuff is expensive for a cost saving measure on a cheap part. Did you test with galvanized or stainless cable?
Couple of top tips... 1. You can put the bottom bracket tool in the bench vice and the whole frame works like a lever. Its stays on the tool much easier, and is great for stuck bottom brackets. Takes the hassle out of it. 2. When doing anything that involves hitting the fork steerer tube, don't put the fork on the ground as it can damage them. Just hold the fork in the air by the steerer tube or under the crown and hit it, it will still work. Love the heatshrink on the cabling, never thought to do that myself. I put heatshrink on the ends of my road bike bar tape though. Really enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.

Alternative title: "15 minute fun advertisment for various bike companies." :D
YamiKisara sure he mentions the products and the features. How else is he going to do it while building up a bike with various parts? And he isn’t even sponsored by any of those products except for Diamondback.
J. L. And Box. Theres a few others too
Tristan Steele he ended his box sponsorship. That’s one reason he can ride SRAM on this bike. Box sponsors steady spin now
Tristan Steele no, in a recent video, he announced that while grateful for the sponsors, he will only keep Diamondback so he can go back to trying and testing various products without obligations.

Bobo MasterRace they don’t ship to Canada either.
ThisIsMego canyon bikes are cool but they’ve no bike hardtail, price is not the problem. I really like diamondback bikes.

“Carbon bikes never break...until they break”
Laughs in 2006 Mongoose Aluminum lol
And plenty alloy bikes break...
@@niteryder50 Anything breaks, but the time it takes is another thing.
@@classydays43 I've seen brand new broken alloy frames. Carbon is very strong just alloy can take non designed impacts better sometimes
My local REI has 3 or 4 broken carbon frames hanging on the wall. So congrats on your Titanium build it was beautiful.
