Great video. Love the edits and how you put it together. I have flown United, was not too impressed...it felt like a very cheap experience but granted that was just going from SFO to MSP. I bet it is different going on an international flight. Loved Air New Zealand, there staff is awesome, would love to fly them again!
yes, for sure, domestic and international are quite different experiences, and that's why i only review international. domestic experience just isn't consistent... thank you for recommending Air New Zealand! what class did you fly?
I scored a premium seat on the way back from Munich on United for 400 bucks and 800 for a business class seat on the way out. Looking forward to trying both seats. Either way beats sitting in the trunk 😉.
I typically travel first class on all domestic flights; (after years of paying my dues seated in the back) But have yet to do so on an international flight; not sure the cost/benefit. analysis warrants it. These seats look about the same as those in domestic first but considering the option of seven hours plus in economy I think they're likely worth every penny! Thanks so much for the objective and informative review!
oh interesting observation! do you have a hack for first class in domestic flights? we also always do economy. is there a good way to get upgrades to first class or certain time of booking you use? and yes, this premium economy was definitely more comfortable for 7 hour+ flights. def worth a try.
Thinking your seat was particularly cold because it looks like you were right beside an emergency exit door which has less insulation and allows more cold air to creep in than the fuselage. I've had the same experience.
One free drink?? I fly Delta Premium economy for work, and it's complementary drinks for as long as you'd like, assuming you don't get out of hand, obviously.
Looks pretty nice. Not as good as "suites", in business, but still pretty nice. We usually travelling as a couple it would be wonderful for us. Thanks for posting this.
Hi, great video. I'm about to do a similar flight and have same seat in bulk head. So none of those bulk head seats have TV screens? I may change my seat lol.
Not during take off and landing. Okay for the rest of the flight. The space under your seat belongs to the person begins you. Besides, that space is not accessible because of your leg rests.
If the seat is not wider than a standard economy seat it does me no good since I stopped running 10Ks and half-marathons. Like pulling myself out of a sardine can at the end of the flight. 😕
@coffeewithanshu Oh sorry, I meant the In flight entertainment (IFE) screen 😅 to watch movies. Were you using a personal iPad? or did the airlines provide that since there was no IFE screen for that row? I would like to book that row for an upcoming flight to Asia, so is wondering if I will need to bring my own tablet?
@@Sunday_Morning570 ooooh! this is my personal iPad but yes they do have screens. It's in the seat handle and you pull it out if I remember correctly. I just wanted to watch my own show so didn't bother. You will be fine on your flight to Asia! I just found the temperature to be too cold in this row.
She was sitting in a bulk head seat, front of the section. So more leg room, but your TV comes out of your arm rest instead of the seat in front of you. Not a bad trade off, but sometimes the fold out kind like this are broken or don't work properly.
If the aircraft you fly with was a Boeing 787, actually the pilot knows what’s the temperature in any section of the plane. This plane model has control panels for different zone.
@@coffeewithanshuanyone who is bold natured should be prepared with sweaters, etc. raising the cabin temperature for you will make it very uncomfortably warm for most other people. Just ask for an extra blanket.
We always fly united or one other partner airlines. We have a ton of points from decades of using their CCs so often upgrade to business or a mid grade. They are not bad, but not as nice as some of the non US flag carriers. Air New Zealand is similar in quality, but the planes are cleaner, and the cabin crew younger.
No sir. You are incorrect. “Premium Plus” is United’s brand name for their premium economy product. You must have it confused with “Economy Plus” which is merely United’s regular economy service and seats, but with about five extra inches of leg room.
I’m not sure why anyone would willingly book premium plus, without free upgrade. The prices tend to be exorbitantly priced higher than economy plus for nothing more.
Finally, a video about premium plus that goes into detail about the workings of the seat! Thank you!
thank you for the appreciation! will keep in mind for future reviews ☺️
Yes thanks for the seat info
Great editing! No need to be fancy about it 😊Switzerland looks amazing! Well worth the flight time.
thank you so much! yes I make my videos pretty straightforward with no frills ☺️

I flew last month on UA znd it was ice cold I think a morgue is probably warmer.
😂😂
Doing Denver to Tokyo in a few weeks, will be the first experience on a 787 in PE. Looking forward to it.
nice! that's a long haul. it's def way roomier and comfortable than regular Economy :)

yw! yes, it's a good medium between economy and business. however, would love to try the 'suites' one day too 😌

they do, but it's goes in the side handle bar. you just have to pull it out!
Did the head rest fold in on both sides?
We'll be going to Switzerland next year hopefully. I plan to do premium economy - Cannot justify the cost of business :/
i try to find business deals for 8-20 hour flights :) less than that, i agree with you!
@@coffeewithanshu Yeah I just want more leg room lol without dropping $5000
Looks huge!
😊
Was it easy to get out from your seat without disturbing the person next to you?
yup lots of space!
We'll let you know, we're flying SFO to Amsterdam on United Polaris and on the way home from we're premium economy.
that's great! SFO to amsterdam is so long and you're going to be so comfortable now :)

where is that beautiful village? I know its on Switzerland but where
it is Mürren! I am uploading a full blog on it soon 🎉😊
Does the front row in premium plus allow an extra bag on the floor?
no, it has to be secured overhead or under the seat

aw. it was not that much wider from my experience. if the price difference is too big when you book, might not be worth it then...
I have ready, and other reviewers had said, that the PP seat is 20 inches wide vs 18 in Economy.
Hows the recliner? Roughly what angle are you at?
i am not sure about the angle but it's about 3 inches more than economy!
@@coffeewithanshu thanks! How was the check-in process and getting your bag after?

What date did you film, what's the registration, seat number and how much did you pay to fly United to Geneva?
This is last year in early July. I don't recall the seat number but it was the bulkhead seat (front row in premium economy)!
I see.
Were you using an iPad to watch movies? Where is the IFE for that row?
yes 🙌🏼 i don't know what IFE is but there is a charger port it that's what you meant

@@JBoy340a thank you for letting me know! Good to know about United. I think it's the best option to cover Europe's major airports right?

yeah it makes sense... i was freezing!!!! 🥶
Premium Plus is business??
no
no actually, it's just a little more spacious than economy. but it doesn't lie flat like business
premium bad meal service? No champagne, not even sparkling wine?
i think we could order a glass! i ordered beer if you see in my video :)
Champagne, wine, beer, and spirits are included in Premium Plus. Other reviewers have also shown a pre-departure glass of champagne.

you're right, it's sometimes too high! idk how I got lucky and it was same price this time 🤩 good to experience!
