It's not for everyone but for someone like me with back, hip, and leg problems, this will probably be great. I booked my seats for the flight for next month to South Korea! It's worth it like I said if you usually get uncomfortable sitting for so long. I even chose seats close to the front with even more leg room. I could care less about the service as long as I have a good flight to my destination and don't lose my luggage. Lol
I like the Bulkhead PE Seats on AA. Even if you are sitting on the Middle Seat and need to get out to use the Toilet, the person on the Aisle even when Fully Reclined does not need to be bothered because there is enough space.
Well done! For space and comfort on international long hauls it's def. worth it. All the other things aren't that important to me. I have three long hauls coming up on different dates (DFW-LHR/DFW-FRA/DFW-OSL). I'm blessed to be in business class on both legs of the first flight but will be in economy plus for the other two. I find that the most senior FA's are on these flights so service is usually fairly good. But as your video says, just lower your expectations and you will never be disappointed!!.
Have some wipes ready because the seat, remote, and screen are dirty and greasy. I had to wash my hands first time I touched them, and then I used wipes to clean everything.
I recently flew American Airlines for the very first time to go to a family reunion half way across the country. 4 of us flew American from various points around the country, Ft Lauderdale to Phoenix. Every one of us were late and I mean like 6 to 8 hours late. No weather problems for any of us. Everyone else who flew other airlines all arrived on time or within 10 minutes of scheduled arrival in Pittsburgh. Return flights were also late by up to 24 hours. One cousin had to sleep IN THE terminal. My flight from Pittsburgh to Ft Lauderdale with a short layover in Philadelphia took 10 hours and 15 minutes (scheduled total flight was 5 hours 30 minutes with layover) again no weather problems. Schedule your next trip wisely.
Excellent comprehensive and detailed, no-nonsense comparison! Subscribed. This product doesn't work for me. Only shell seats for me in PE. Absolutely hate it, when someone reclines to such a degree into my space. Nor do these cramped seats in Eco work for me, with a larger than average chance of having an obese person next to me. (US airline).
@@codclips1029 ??? That's were I usually sit or lie flat. PE only if it's a shell seat. Just booked 2 return tickets in Biz ex EU to Far East in November and January. Are you obese?
Worst customer service ever, they just don't get it. Hard product is average, soft product sup sup par. They've got a very serious corporate culture challenge.
@@daveb2280 It was actually Vasu Raja, formerly chief commercial officer, for the lashback resulting from the NDC forced implementation on travel management companies and travel advisors at large. I've seen AA go through many iterations since th 90s, maybe my age but I no longer have faith in AA, let's hope I'm dead wrong about this for the sake of younger people with many more years of flying than me ahead.
You are in a glorified coach seat. I don’t know why you are expecting gourmet food and business and first amenities. You get everything you need to be comfortable at a much better price. It looks damn nice to me.

We got premium economy for our round-trip nonstop from DFW to Santiago on a 787. $1,250 per ticket. Feels like we got a good deal booking in March.

I have flown AA P/E quite a few times as well as other airlines. The only airline that was significantly different or even better was JAL.

Pick a seat at the front of PE then. It isn't rocket science.

It's worth it if you're flying on a B-787!!! In Economy, you're going to be sitting in a 3-3-3 just like a 737. Someone sitting in a MIDDLE SEAT!!!
4:27 damn launch is my favorite meal of the day
Helpful !
I got the premium econ9my from London to nyc for 600
n o t h i n g is worth it on AA!
I flew premium economy 2 weeks ago and the breakfast was chicken and rice/American breakfast
Wow sounds great 😅
Bad bad seats, terrible flight attendants
Worst customer service ever, they just don't get it.

Well the AA CEO was recently sacked so maybe we will see some change...hopefully for the better!
