이를 위해 여러가지 방법을 활용하기도 하지만 굳이 이런 방법을 활용하지 않고 상온에서 보관한 쪽파 종근을 심어도 싹이 잘 나온다.
하지만
싹이 나온 다음 기온이 높아 성장하기엔 여러가지 문제가 있다.
이런 환경 속에서도 여름 쪽파 재배는 소득이 높아 많은 농가에서 심고 있다
7월에 심은 쪽파는 오래 두지 말고 어느 정도 자라면 수확하면 된다.
하지만 오래 두면 잎 부분들이 쓰러져 상품으로 가치가 없다.
결론은 7월에 심은 쪽파는 성장 상태에 따라 수확하여 활용하고 8월에 심은 쪽파는 추석에 수확할 수 있는 것으로 확인 하였다.
