  • Lets take a look at some pedal options for your traditional hotrod build. We will focus on original equipment pedals from early Ford's. We'll look at stock Model A pedals, 1932-1934, 1935-1936, 1937-1938, 1939, 1940-1948 and the F-1 pickup pedals. We'll take a look at how each mounts to the frame, the clutch and brake linkage and how to make them work for your project. We'll also throw around some ideas on how to make your mechanical brake pedals work with hydraulic "juice" brakes.

    The first thing I do when I buy an old car is change out the brake master cylinder for a dual system. (Then I rebuild the carb.) 🙂

      Always a good idea. I haven't actually heard any examples of them failing but it's not worth the risk in my opinion.
