Let's get this out of the way first. Breath of the Wild is a great game, possibly the best Zelda game ever made. The world is expansive and allows so much freedom, self-discovery, and experimentation. However, I felt that Nintendo really dropped the ball on the story and music. The Switch Presentation Trailer Nintendo showed gave me such hope for the epic music that would assault my ears, but sadly we were all misled.
To me the soundtrack is only half-complete. The tracks are all atmospheric, and fit the setting really well, but ineffective in describing the context. The whole world has been plunged into darkness. Ganon's calamity infects the landscape, and yet all the inhabitants feel like they're at peace with it. Link has woken up from a hundred year slumber, and the world barely reacts to his return. What I had hoped to see was Ganon reacting to Link's presence. As Link defeats each divine beast, there should be a great escalating response from the opposing forces. But the world stays pretty much the same. The sense of adventure I felt in the beginning of the game sort of faded away. Instead the world felt more like just a playground for Link to play in until he decides to go save Zelda.
The music for the enemies on the world map all have this playful silliness to it, which I felt was in contradiction to the context. Hence, this arrangement I made for the guardian battle, I consider more of a REVISION. I referenced the tone of the trailer music heavily in trying to come up with my version. For the percussion, I used a lot of wood and metal knick knack sounds to preserve the idea that the player is free to be creative with his/her strategies in fighting the guardians. When encountering these for the first time, most players probably fail and die quickly. The thrill you get from defeating these for the first time is very exhilarating, and I wanted the music to convey that. I borrowed the main theme of the game and injected it into the track to give it more emotion. Even though the end result is a lot more heavy highs and lows, I feel I still was able to keep the lightness of track intact.
Since in my Undertale videos, there have been many comments on the "suckiness" of my gameplay, I put in a lot of effort to make the gameplay here look cool. LOL I rehearsed how I would fight the guardian, and recorded numerous run-throughs of the fight. I made sure to move in the same consistent manner so I could edit the footage to look like it was a multi-camera setup. Very cinematic, don't you think? And I tried to make the actions correspond to the musical changes in the track!
    Arrangement by Jeremiah Sun
    Original Theme by Manaka Kataoka

Honestly, I like your points on the story and music, but I personally wasn't disappointed with either of them.
First off, story: With open-world gameplay, it can be difficult to fit in a good story. After all, for some people, the story can be as simple as, "Link wakes up, completes his tasks at the Great Plateau, and then heads straight to Ganon and defeats him." However, I think most of the story lies within most of the side quests, such as Link's relationships with each of the champions and even building Tarrey Town, helping to repopulate a broken Hyrule. Although yes, it would have been great to see an increase of Ganon's presence in Hyrule after defeating the blight Ganons, kinda like how Yiga attacks are more frequent after Master Kohga is defeated.
Music: I honestly thought the soundtrack was beautiful and fitted perfectly into a game like this. However, you and other guys who do orchestrated remixes of BotW's songs have shown me that Nintendo could have pushed even a little bit harder to make this soundtrack better. Still, I am personally comfortable with what we have here.
This is just my personal opinion.

Isaiah Lee I believe this orchestration is absolutely incredible, but I disagree that nintendo did anything wrong with the botw music, I think that the fact that they used piano (mostly a piano by itself) was to give a little bit of a lonely feel to the music, much like link throughout most of the game

Imo it does sound like a boss battle but also as if: ''After a great fight, Link has won the guardians back from ganon, the divine beasts are ready to shoot but, so are the guardians. Hero, hyrule's fate rests upon your shoulders, call your guardians, tell the champions to get ready, grab your sword and let's end the calamity here and now!''

They should have done something like this when Demise/Ganon *woke up and turned his head towards the Triforce holders who disturbed his slumber.*
The rest of the trailer should have been will-driven yet surrounded by the evoking of desperation at its peak, as you've done here with a LOT of the Eastern music inspiration.
    Brilliant, brilliant stuff.
"Last shot, kid. *Make it count."* energy
I'm almost certain that they intend to bring forth the Twilight Realm into the story too. The green color is attributed to the Triforce of Courage, as well as Twili magic.
This story is going to be very, VERY dark.
You've even got the Twilight Princess vibes at about 4:12 of the with the percussive bits, the triangle, and brass (horn) textures.

Nice job; very interesting touch with adding the main theme.
I agree, they could have done much more to add to the flavor of the game with stuff like having Ganon react to your presence. They also didn't add enough uniqueness to the puzzles, i.e., all puzzles are just shrines or korok seeds so puzzles feel kind of boxed-in in that way. But hey, I guess that's what happens when the company ain't doing so well and they have hundreds of people working on it for several years and they need to just ship the product. Maybe they're also planning on releasing a bunch of DLCs / expansions...

imagine this, a giant guardian 10X the size of a regular one, controlled by gannondorf's magic and you had to destroy the legs to make it immobile and when the legs stiffen down like something is going to pop out from the bottom, a guardian turret appears and you have to defeat it to kill the giant guardian, and when its defeated it will spew out 20 giant ancient cores 15 ancient gears and 10 ancient screws.

This is truly a beautiful piece you’ve made. I see you’ve put a lot of effort into this, and I’m going to use it in one of my videos because it’s amazing.
However, I do have a different opinion, even if I do respect yours.
I have been a Zelda fan for much of my life, even if I’m young, and Breath of the Wild, while it is not perfect, is definitely a step in the right direction. I love the music of the game... It is why I find myself here, looking up remixes of otherwise amazing tracks. Nintendo has made it clear they are trying new things, and I can respect that. I loved exploring the world in a post apocalyptic setting.
I love the small violin flourishes you added, it really is a nice touch and shows more of a two-sided struggle than the one-sided the guardians appear to be infamous for. However, I feel adding the main theme is a bit unnecessary, and makes a skirmish with what the guardians are a bit more ramped up than it should be, considering they are at most footsoldiers despite their seeming mini boss difficulty. After getting better at the game, they are actually quite quick to take down, though this may not be the case for everyone but there are quicker ways of dispatching them. Link before he died faced hundreds of these machinations, which makes for an epic fight though doesn’t attest them being worthy of the main theme.
I wouldn’t say all this if this was a simple remix, but since you have stated this is more of a revision and something claimed should actually be in the game, I felt the need to discuss this. Breath of the Wild is more of a game where sometimes simplicity and hinting is more charming than complexity or emphasis. The theme that plays while riding a horse is the best example of this, as the majority of the time is different but plays the classic tune of Hyrule in small parts throughout the piece, successfully making itself stand out as original while at the same time an ode to an old theme.
Link himself is different in this game. He wears a blue tunic instead of green, while the green tunic you get after completing all shrines is somewhat of a reward or afterthought, since the game’s emphasis on trying new formulas is evident. This also shows itself in the music; Kakariko Village’s theme is far different than anything we’ve heard from the Zelda series to my memory.
The people seem unaffected since many of the people who were alive in Link’s time have died save for the Zora people, of whom are constantly grieving Mipha’s death. The new generation of zoras don’t recognize him, but the few elders who remain blame Link for Mipha’s loss. The other races get by with the strife like they always have with other games since it is all they have known. Hyrule Castle has always been a fortress of death and destruction. And they are hampered by the Divine Beasts even if they don’t know what they are, as the people most knowledgeable of them has past on or went into hiding to make sure they are there for Link’s potential return.
I do agree with some of the game’s faults. I feel there was wasted potential with Ganon even if his first form is a thing of nightmares to behold. I always loved the confrontation Link had with Ganondorf back in Ocarina of Time. The organ, their confrontation of wills, the dark atmosphere, what he has become all these years. I held off the end of Breath for so long because I anticipated an encounter of that lore-filled encounter. What kind of person would Ganon look like? What intelligence would he show? Except there was nothing there... Nothing left. I wish there was more to learn about him.
Another flaw, while I did not find it while playing the game but found after I played it, I was sad some of my favorite monsters weren’t in here. The poes, specifically; I loved hunting after them in previous games. And what if the Skulltulas, or a lot of other things? No water exploration? These things I will miss, but I have promise they will improve on it in the future.
I can’t fault this game too much, though. I loved horses when I was a child, and this game made me love collecting horses again. They’re all beautiful, and giving them different names was cool.
Sorry for the long message. I just feel so passionately on the subject. There are actually a lot of great themes here, hidden in the Wilds.

Great arrangement! I love the way you used the Main Theme.
I don't agree with you om BotW's soundtrack though. The game is very different than other Zelda titles so imo the soundtrack has to be different as well. It really fits with this game and that's all that matters. Besides it has some of the best themes in the series: Main Theme, Battle, Champion Themes, Hyrule Castle and many more. I would love to hear an arrangement of the latter btw.

If you can compose this sort of music at a constant rate, then you are a true rival of Samo Studios channel's music, along with others I cannot remember or don't know of yet. This means you are already halfway to being compared with the music titans such as Hans Zimmer and Alan Menken and Kenji Kawai and Joe Hisaishi. I hope to become on this list as well.

This robotic arachnid cannot continue its operation, for it will destroy the Antilion Empire if you fail. Do what you must to stop this foe, dear hero! Gerald II will taste your blade soon.

Frankly, I wish I could like this thousands of times. I also felt as if this game's soundtrack was severely lacking after the music heard in the trailers and in reference to what is going on in the game's world.
Fantastic job on this and you really did fix the song to more of what I personally expected. I would have much preferred to hear this version in the game. Congratulations on the 10k subscribers and keep up the great work :)

I love how you modified the original theme and made it significantly more triumphant as the original theme should have been.

What I want to know is how you can move your horse to get away from a Guardian so well. I know you practiced, but still! Then to so boldly ram it head on!!! *TEACH ME YOUR WAYS*

I think that any other remixes or videos with the theme should do what you did- have good guardian footage in the background
