This is my version of the mighty "Song of Storms" from the Legend of Zelda and I tried to get a darker atmosphere than the original from the game, to better match with the background of this piece.
Original composer: Koji Kondo
I was heavily inspired by this version :

So I tried to give it better orchestrations, new parts & adding some personnal sauces.

Man This is exactly like a hurricane. It starts off building up and getting stonger and more intense then it get calm in the middle. It stays calm till the song plays for a bit then it gets twice as intense then it calms down and leaves a nice drizzle

I love how it grows from a drizzle to a hurricane and ends with the music box illustrating the maddening infinity of this song. It shouldn’t exsist but it always will and always has. The floodgates are opening and no one can save us from drowning in the flow of time

This feels like a storm happening as you are inside a big mansion with an organ. I like how this song can change this up and make it loud without ruining the ambience like the trap remixes do.

How to make an epic majestic OST sounds even more epic and majestic, the video:
Oh man, this is just gorgeous. The slow build... the layers of instruments (duh, orchestra!)- it feels like someone battle weary picking dragging themselves up, trudging forward after going ten rounds and finding the courage (with the original melody tinkling) to go one more round and win the day! Just stunning work.
This rendition perfectly captures how it is in the game. It starts out as an innocent song that you find through an odd man and time paradox. As you go into the well and grave yard it descends into a dark madness. Culminating with a monster made from a man so evil they cut off his hands (thief) and head murderer).
daaaamn the organ was a really nice surprise. Goes really well with this song
Absolutely love this all the way through! Surprisingly, I love the carnival section at the end, specifically when the beat starts in at 4:43

It feels like this one actually captures the lore it was given in Majora’s Mask; The betrayal of a brother, the anger in the thunder, the sadness in the rain. Very amazing.
