Director Park hun jung's interview about this movie : 1. The 'Witch 2' is not a story originally planned. Instead of original witch2 story, the story of witch3 was made ahead of time. *The reason why the original plan was collapsed and Part2 was replaced by Part3 is the problem of production company(Warner Bros withdrew its Korean film business) 2. Originally, witch2 was the story of Ja Yoon hitting and destroying organization's overseas research institutes after the original Witch1 (There are 7 research institutes around the world. In England, France and Canada,... and the Shanghai.) 3. In witch2, which was originally planned, Ja-yoon destroyed the organization's overseas research institute with a nobleman (Choi Woo-shik) as her guide, and in the process, there was a database of someone who is the mother of sisters. It was the story of Chief Paik who knew who that person was, and that is why Ja-yoon came to visit her. Now that 'Witch 2' has been pulling the story of witch3, that's why their mother is now appearing at the beginning of 'Witch 2'. 5. There are two superpower groups. Superhuman group - says that superhumans should rule the world (represented by Jang) Union group- says that superhumans should be used as a tool to maintain power (represented by Chief Baek) 7. The superhuman group is a child born with the design based on the database of the twins Jayun and the girl born to their mother. (Children who are designed and born in research institutes have different abilities depending on how they use their brains from birth. Since they are designed psychics, have a superior appearance than existing humans. Also, because they were born in a laboratory and couldn't go out, their skin is white.) 6. Union characters have superpowers when they receive the serum they made while researching their mother. (Union members, such as Seo Eun-soo, who received serum, were originally soldiers. They get older and get serum, so they look older than the superhuman group. Although the serum slows down aging and gives it superpowers, it makes them look older than the Tow Quadruple group that was born by design. They have different abilities depending on the limit that their brains can digest.) 7. Jayun and the girl are children born directly from their mothers, so their abilities are top-notch. (So their actions don't have to be big. However, as the series goes on, the fighting opponent becomes stronger.., and the action will naturally grow bigger. You will never see a girl perform such a calm action like this again.) 8. Jayun and the girl are at the highest level in the witch universe, so their mother is also strong (not quite sure whether she is the strongest), but for some reason, she has sealed that ability herself. 9. All babies designed by research institutes in each country are called earth dolls in the language of the country. 土偶4 is from Shanghai Lab, so it is called 土偶 in Chinese. (As Jayun destroyed all the research institutes in each country, the Tou of each country that survived came out into the world. Jayun suffered a lot of injuries in the process of breaking the Shanghai rap, so she borrows the power of the Shanghai Tou 4 until she recovers.) 10. This series is planned up to 5 movies. (The actors in 'Witch 2' were told by the director that a solo movie was prepared for each character.)

she's not emotionless. grief is not always loud wailing and crying like people show in anime. sometimes when people feel grief, they dissociate and become numb. she also knew how OP she is lol. but i get what u mean
Part 1 was great and hectic, Part 2 was straight action and brutal. Just sad that the brother and sister died so early out they didn’t have much plot for them. All in all, loved both movies! Can’t wait for the 3rd installment.
I stumbled across The Witch and The Witch 2 a couple rainy/cold Saturdays past. I thought they were incredible. Liked them both a lot. They knocked it out of the park with a limited budget. Impressive efforts by all.
She's very strong using her mind.She never allowed her enemies getting closer to her. And she has emotions compared to part 1. The girl in part one is that she knows how to fight and very cool coz she knows her ability though she has weakness with her head.I guess the weakness of the part 2 is that she has emotions.
part 1 cured her weakness already. and she was pulling WAYYYY back on showing her powers. she had this amused look on her face. I'd say part 2 witch is still stronger since she spent more time in the lab ( & because it was mentioned that she completely healed her smashed head, destroying the brain was supposed to be the weakness of witches) compared to part 1 but part 1 witch is way more clever and cunning.
The one thing a super hero has failed to do is show how powerful any hero is. Like they went all out with the powers for these characters and it was awesome. This movie was not afraid to show the amount of power that girl has, which is why i loved this

came across this movie last night while i was looking for something COMPLETELY different, loved every minute of it. its been a long time since i liked a good fight scene cuz hollywood is always predictable with them but i gave this a chance cuz i quite enjoyed “Alice, the final weapon” which is also a Korean suspense drama (not movie). i already can’t wait for “The witch part 3” im gonna go watch the first part of the witch now 😄

It's possible to catch her off guard when she's distracted. Spoilers Their home was attacked by a rocket launcher and she was sent flying. That's how she got separated from her two friends. She was also overwhelmed at the beginning of her story (although they did fail to kill her and she got her revenge). She seems to require a bit of warm up time, or maybe her powers are based on her emotions. Here she just lost the only real friends she ever had. And the only reason the gang members came back was because the civilian girl convinced her to show mercy when she had the chance to kill them. Her friends were good people who showed her kindness and really didn't deserve to die. So here she is almost completely bloodlusted out of rage and guilt. Her torturing the gangster might have been the last of her conscience holding her back.
marvel is busy investing in the PC woke movement instead of quality action scenes like these. Also, USA is a soft country when it comes to ratings for violence and sex. This is why foreign films are so much better...
no one knows.Koo Jayoon is physically extremely strong and also possesses mental abilities. her sister is mentally far stronger, so we don't know who is actually stronger. both are in a class of their own.

Why people in comment section are hyping this action scene... It's nothing extraordinary.... It looks like fast forwarded action scenes though it looks cool but more of a anime feel where characters are extra overpowered. The raid1, raid2, winter soldier, civil war, madmax, bourne series, kill bill series etc.... These movies have great action sequences.
