I’m building a very similar fence but I’m thinking about 3 rails and all 2 Inch for rails and post. What gage did you use for the post and rails? I’m looking at 14 gauge for rails and maybe 11 for post concretes in 1.5 feet. 16 foot horse panels similar to yours 60inch 2x4 holes and 16 long so post will be 8 feet apart.
That is exactly what I was planning on doing. Talked to a fence guy that said 11 gauge for posts and 14 for rails should be good with 2x2 ST. Have you started yet?
Ill have to go back and look at what size my tubing was. But one think to consider the offset different tube sizes. The reason i went with the size selection i did was so i had a flush transition bewtween cap rail and posts so it wasnt awkward with a weird offset. Hope that helps though and good luck!

Did you set the 2 inch in concrete?
Only 2 inch posts at the gate are concreted. The others are just driven in the ground and the 4 inch posts are obviously concreted.
How deep is the main post?
Which ones? The ones on the automatic gate i didnt set. The others i believe i did at around 2+ ft.
