in this video we go over reinstalling injectors. i recommend watching the whole video before you start so you know what to expect. its not a difficult process to do but it is involved and can be frustrating. pay attention to the torqueing procedure and follow it in order. i also suggest setting valve lash after you install injectors. after running the valves my engine is purring seamlessly with...

How to remove oil Pan and replace Pan gasket on 2004 ram 3500 cummins
Просмотров 3,7 тыс.2 года назад
The time came for me to replace the leaking oil Pan gasket on my 2004 ram 3500. It's about a 4 hour project in all. And you will need thing like an engine hoist and other basic tools. This should be the same for any 3rd Gen. 5.9 Cummins. It should apply from 2003 all the way up until 2007. The only difference will be if it is a 2 wheel drive it will not have a front axle which may make things a...

You really hate that seatbelt!
is posible to do that kind of reparation with TIG welding?
Does every factory turbo come with that, and if so, what are the engine's side effects?
anyone know what to do if my seat recline doesn't hold? the cables move freely, but if i hit a bump my seat folds back
Heck yea bud this is great mine does the same thing but mines on the drivers seat n it’s uncomfortabale all the way back …thks mine is an 06..if I have any at her issues I’ll tx you bk n maybe you can help me..thks
The 6 speed…. Can’t tell you how jealous I am
I've had this reel set for a couple years. They have not held up well at all. They are perhaps the worst investment I've ever made with regards to tools, in fact.
Thanks for posting the video. I am installing new injectors in my 03 Cummins, tomorrow, your video gave me more cofidence . I have 236,000 miles on it now, very hard start unless very warm weather, I hope this will be the fix, thanks again
Does this fix the up/down movement in the column? I don't have any wander or wobble but a up down movement in the column is driving me nuts 😅
Size wrench was that 😅
I just did this about 6 months ago to my 04.5 ram 2500 and it was like a day and night difference
Haha, 903! I'm from Tyler, live in Houston now, but searched square tube fence and your video popped up. Small world. Fence looks badass!
What if seat at certain adjustment doesn't want to hold and falls backwards?
Thanks for the video. How hard did you have to beat the bushing to get it flush?
Pipe like to flex 💪
💯👍
Thank you for this. Just bought a used 2004 Ram and I am looking for a fix for the steering play. Hope this works.
Awesomeness 👌
I needed to get a trailer aid for my horse trailer. We had a pole building built and my farm boy brain said.; I bet we can make one out of one of the pieces of 6 x 6 posts left over from the build. So i took a 3 foot piece got out the chainsaw and freehand cut one out with tapers on both ends. Took another piece of 6x 6 and made an in between axle wheel chock. They have worked great and they only cost me the gas to run my saw. So far as you not being able to get you axles high enough, could you stick a piece of 2x6 under one end of the trailer aid to get more lift?
RW please kill the music when you do a video so we can concentrate on your instructions, Thank you keep them coming.
Cool idea. Might just do something like this. Thanks for the video.
I am so glad I went to RUclips to look up your video instead of unbolting it from the floor pan thank you very helpful
What tuning are you running? What EGTs are you seeing while towing heavy? Im honestly thinking about this exact setup on my truck
Thanks for your time in creating this vid. How would you weld a crack in grey cast iron Goulds water pump down in the base of the bowl, the bend of the bowl or the seam but not. I only have a flux core welder with E71T-GS - 0.030 Inch Blue Demond wire. But, after I use a grinding wheel to make a trench I was thinking of using a nickel rod along with the pass. I would heat it up first after its all grinded and cleaned and I have a trench and holes drilled at each end. I will put it in a sand bath for 24 hours after I am all done. But, it's not more than an 1/8" deep cast iron. The crack goes all the way through. Hair line 98% of crack to about a two to 3 hairs crack 2% of crack. LOL. 1. Can I grind it out all the way through with a hole at each end of crack. I have been told not to go through the iron. But, there are no parts or anything on the other side that I have to be careful and not weld onto? 2. With using the flux and rod can I just go at a speed until the pool fills up all in one pass? The crack is about half the size of the pumps diameter. 4-5 inches. 3. Can I go the speed that would fill the trench then stop halfway or, (?, Distance of stop and go) Stitch it and come back before it cools all the way down to finish. 4. I can only get to the outside of the cover. Its about 10 " in diameter. I only have one sht. Please help don't judge because I am women. I have to get this done. Can't afford to be ripped off by someone else when I know I can do it We have no water. 3kids, and farm animals that need water.
How does the transmission stay cool? Or the motor for that matter

I love it when a welder makes his own. I'm on my 3rd bed for my 2018 Ramm 5500, its addicting.
Nice welding bed
Thank you
How is your machine holding up? Does the current effect the machine in any way?
You lost me Coach, BadAxx welding!👍👍🇺🇲🇬🇺🇯🇵
Just park backwards cops will understand
Mine reels only have one block on the positive reel it doesn’t have a block on the negative lead so I’m kind of confused
No offense or how ever you look at it, your welds look like shit on your personal rig. Is that how you work? More specifically your 90 elbows. Just my opinion and the way I work. Your rig represents you.
That looks great buddy! Nice finish. I haven't arc welded since high school, but i need to weld a lawnmower deck for a riding mower I'm fixing for my nephew. It hassome of the same cracking at stress points. Thanks for the video buddy!
No problem! Glad it helps
Thanks for the info on the Rods.
No problem. Glad to help!
Awesome bed. New sub from Oklahoma
Thanks! Glad to have you
That looks like its going to be real nice when its done. but dam that 2x2" is about 135 dollars per 20ft piece, and you need about 9000 feet lol. well 1/8" thick 2x2 is about 135 per 20 ft. right here in texas where I'm at.
No doubt prices have gone up considerably. The fence has been complete for 3 years now. What part of texas are you in?
@@westleyrudd5500 I live in Conroe, TX. but yeah don't get me wrong I really like the idea of using square tube for a fence. I actually thought of using square tube for a gate because in my opinion making miter cuts is easier than coping pipe, lol. that's why I was checking out your video.
@@davidcraft4909 yes for sure! I love the way it looks and it is DEFINATLY easier than pipe cuts.
Thanks man, this was really helpful
No problem. Thats what im here for.
Why do they need 4 solenoids?
That's a very good question. I'm not an electrical engineer so I can't exactly answer that. Lol
Looks Like Trash!... How Can You Own A Shop Welding That Way?. Hahahhaaha
Nice set up, well done. Now that you have had it a year or so.... What would you change ? Add? I'm working on a bed now.
Hmmm. Good question. I need to add some extra bracing and welds. Especially around the headache rack. Might have gone with a little thicker steel for the deck so it wouldnt bow. Little small odds and ends. Not too much i dont like about it to be honest. Its easy to modify them too cause you just weld what you want on. Ive added a few features that way. Definitely plan on different machines and such when you do it. Think ahead.
@@ruddmanwelding5853 what thickness material did you use on your bed? I'm getting ready to start building a bed for my new rig
I have to give you props man. Simple short sweet. Fixed the issue in less then 10 minutes and a few other issues with the drivers side seat. If you could give some of the others advice on recording like this.
Thank you much. A lot of my videos dont wind up this short and sweet. But i try to give all the info needed.
Just rub a bar of Ivory soap for a temp fix!!!
Rub it back and forth like space. It'll last a few days.
Jesus H christ look at those welds
You don’t even need that shit bro wtf 😬
I have the same reels. What’s the bracket for on the main post? There’s a diamond partially cut out and a semicircle at the top. I have an idea of what it is but I’m thinkin ‘I can’t be right…’ lol do you or anybody know!??
Plus on those smaller welders the oil filter is on the opposite side as in my pipepro 400 so having it facing the passenger side it makes for easy access
The advantage to a smaller welder is they are easier to remove to maintenance. I just pop it off the truck to service it and it makes it easy to pull covers and clean flywheels and such.
Are they still holding up?
Yes they are! I really like them. Only complaint is the plastic latch pins because they break easily. They have to be plastic though to insulate against the current in the reel.
Mine are 4 years old. I have a bearing going out and the plastic pins both broke the first year. I haven’t replaced even thought I bought some aluminum solid stock to do the replacement work. Lol mediocre reels for the money imo. They do the job but damn if they aren’t expensive for what they are.
In the UK that would be binned
Im guessing binned means scrapped in the uk right?
