From a chiefs fan I can tell you we all thought we were getting Johnson at 21 too. Really wanted that one and watching your gm work to get that done was cool as shit. Go chiefs but I got a second team I'll be rooting for for sure.

I thank Adam Gase the most for dragging us down to Hell at our lowest points so we could really build from nothing & build from the ground up. Let me say this.. that Jamal Adams trade went a very long way & let me say it has paid off. At the time i didn't know what the Jets did getting rid of my favorite player on the team, i thought Jamal was a player on the Jets for years to come but we definitely won that trade & it's not even close.

Still the perfect night. We as Jets fans will look back in 5-10 years and realize this was the moment things turned around.

Douglas hit a grand slam last draft. Sauce, wilson ,jermain, breece hall, great picks. But micheal Clemens is a steal. The dude is gonna be an animal. Week 1 he practically broke Ravens tackles ankle on a bull rush.
The penalty he got vs browns was BS. He was trying to make a play falling down to the ground.
Anyway yeah Jets should be 0-2. But how many comebacks there were in week 2. Cardinals, Dolphins , Jets just to mention a few. I'll take the W.

The double J thing at end video gave me goose bumps. Douglas is the man. Jermaine is gonna be good, but I got a feeling Micheal Clemens in the 4th is gonna be an animal. The dude even scared his own teammates. They gave him his space on sidelines. His value dropped because of a gun charge. That's really a small thing.

The most surprising thing in this draft is . The middle rounds. Micheal Clemens is gonna be an animal. Remember my words. He already put a tackle week 1 on IR with a bull rush that tackles ankle couldn't handle. I repeat hes gonna be an animal.

The compilation of Joe Douglas picking up the official phone and swapping between that and his personal phone over and over and over as he tried to acquire the third first round pick was just hysterical, especially when JD looked right into the camera.

I have been a Jets fan since 1968. We've had some good teams at times, but this is, in my humble opinion, the best offseason in my lifetime of fandom. By far! the Brick, Mangold draft was good, but combined with the free agent acquisitions,easily the best. It isn't just the talent at all. These are quality men as much as I can see from interviews and actions. Humble, but confident, team-oriented, AND talented! I think, we win 8 games this year. I would be happy with that but next year, the Super Bowl or bust! I have never been more excited and optimistic about the team! J E T S Jets, Jets, Jets!!!

I think the reason Jermaine fell was because he had only one year of good production. But when you put on the tape, he’s got the most potential to impact immediately due to his bend and different pass rush moves in his arsenal. I was so hyped when they traded up to get him.

What I like about Joe is ache always brings up quotes from guys he used to work under like Ozzie Newsome. It shows how much respect he has for those guys and how they helped shape him into the GM he is today.

I'm a Giants fan and remember when George Young took over. Joe Douglas has done the same thing. He took the crap from the press and has taken a lot of unjust heat. Now is his time to shine. He knew he had a bad roster, but maneuvered masterfully by stockpiling draft capital starting with dumping Jamal Adams. What a bold move he made in acquiring Jermaine Johnson. Anyone who understands the process of team building knows you win by drafting good young talent. Once that foundation is in place that's when you complement it with veteran players who add the experience necessary to win in the NFL. The Jets still have to develop these guys, but this draft looks very promising for them. Maybe their best one ever.
