Chalamet is just one of those hosts who knows how to nail it on SNL like Baldwin. Would be awesome to see him host in coming years.
He does! But he also gives everyone the respect and flowers they deserve. He finds a way to make them shine too, which I think is not only extra good as the host but as someone in the industry that really isn't so big.

I would actually kinda like to see this be a reoccurring series. Have different actors read story for the Calm Sleep app that become progressively more and more bizarre.

Geez lorne must really love alec. Cant say I'd be using him rn, but he is actually a fantastic narrator. He did a documentary about a local artist (ben steele, the man who painted the Bataan Death March) & he really did do an exceptional job.
Do people not recall he was Mr. Conductor on Shining Times Station (after Ringo Starr & George Carlin) & narrated stories about Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends? He also narrated Wes Anderson's The Royal Tannenbaums.
Actually fell asleep to the story before it got to minute 2 - highly recommend Chalamet as an actual Calm host for the future!

I've always loved his Trump impression. I thought SNL might have done a very unfortunate cordon-sanitaire on him. He accidentally shot somebody because the studio screwed up with restricting the armoury from doing their job. I can't belive what he's going though.
There is one person in our village who accidentally backed over a child 15 years ago and he has never been the same. He always carrys his head low and speaks in a quick whisper just ending each interaction with others immedatley. A total reverse of his original personality. It's so sad, I can't imagine.

Why did this sketch make no sense?? Like it didn’t seem like either of them were actually responding to the other one. “Oh he’s chatty.” “So you want me to be louder!!?” … what? That wasn’t stated, no.
i think the louder part was supposed to be implied as a script note but could've used a shot of timmy looking over the script before saying it to let the audience know what he means. the chatty thing was him talking in between takes or stopping to ask questions/give notes
