It centers on Adams forcing the fire inspectors to certify the Turkish consulate even though it didn’t pass safety inspections. I’d imagine that’s the kind of thing someone says “yes, sir” and within a week every fireman in FDNY knows about it. In two weeks everyone in NYPD knows. In NYC, how many people are one or two degrees away from a first responder?
